Goldcar Catania Airport

Rented a very reliable Fiat Panda for 9 days. Not too pricey luckily. Quick service when picking up, even also when dropping of. Car is well maintained, we got in full and clean.
Deposit was refunded within two working days.

I rent the car through booking.com with full insurance for 180€/7 days. I had a pozitive experience even I heard many stories about stealing car parts in Catania. I always parked in designated areas where you have to pay and was OK. Regarding the car, I received a brand new car only 10 km Fiat Panda, the employee asked me if I want a full insurance for 250€, but he didn’t insist, I politely refused and I explained him I already have full insurance from booking.com, then he blocked me 950€ from my credit card, so in case I had some damage they will withdraw the money and later on I will recover from Booking. Likely, I had no issues with the car and everything went smoothly, but always take videos and pics of the car even if is brand new, when you check in and check out! I was a lil bit concerned cause I retuned the car before 8 AM when they usually start working and no one was around for check out but since I brought the car in perfect condition they were fair and returned me 950€. Overall very pleasant experience!

I rented a car without any problems with debit card. The car was practically new and well-maintained. I recommend it to everyone.

Really happy from the car we rented! It was brand new at 700km and we felt very lucky! Great service at the airport, we had to wait a bit, but the person was extremely kind with perfect English. Smooth pick up! Easy communication and return.
Booking on their website was ok, we had to try a few times because the site was crushing but in the end all went fine. Definetely recommend!

I reserved a car online with full insurance. Every time I rent a car, I take a picture of the car before and after (regardless of full insurance). We took care of the car as if it were our own. We refueled it on the way back. We vacuumed it from the inside and washed it from the outside. The car was great for the chaos on Italian roads. Despite the poor reviews I've read, I would recommend it to anyone.

Very positive experience. We have rented a compact car for our 7 days vacations in Sicily. The rental process through an outside partner at Goldcar was very straightforward and they accpeted my debit card. Everything took no more than 20 mins. I have returned the car after a week and received the security deposit two days after the return.

We had a positive experience with Goldcar Catania (5 days from Oct 18th 2023, Fiat 500). The guy was very friendly and answered all my questions, the pick up process was fast. We delivered car at 7am and office opens only at 8am, so we just threw keys into a special box and it was done. At 8.20am I already received an email with enclosure details. Very convenient!
I really recommend this company and booking in advance through their website.

P. S. The fuel deposit 100€ was returned to me in full amount on 24th day after dropping off the car. (According their T&C, the payback period is up to 30 days).

***It was a bit difficult for me to find the office box, but just stay calm and be attentive: follow Goldcar signs were all goldcar cars are parked and here a tiny office is - at the last row, near the stairs to upper parking level.

For us the experience was great. We got 2 cars in a higher tier than we booked, for no extra payment. We had full insurance so we had to pay just for fuel (don’t take cars without full coverage in Sicily, it’s a slim chance it won’t get it hit by someone by the end of the rental). Price was also very good at 250/6 days with everything included

I am very satisfied with quality of service provided by Goldcar. I reserved car by agency. Offered price was the cheapest amongst many companies. We got very fast almost new Opel Corsa. Travelled above 1500km without any issues. Car was returned smoothly. I recommend this company!

Great experience. We had no waiting time picking up the car and giving it back. Just read the terms beforehand and you’ll have no trouble. Yes, they try to sell you sell you an extra insurance but the terms were fair and you can just say no.

The staff was super friendly and the car was nice. There’s a gas station (petrol company) with vacuum cleaner near so you can clean everything inside in case it’s very dirty.

Excellent information from Goldcar employee at the desk when picking up the car, he explained everything. I also like the policy about any scratch being under 5cm is excluded from damage, also if you drop the car up to 1 hr late this is fine. All these things are not normal at other companies, I will use Goldcar again

Whole process was fast after arriving. We have got a new car without any issue.
We have returned cleaned (little bit of sand etc.) car without damage and there was no problem at all.

Everything perfect. Car in good conditions. Process smooth and fast. Yes, you must have a physical credit card with the driver name on it. If you don't read the terms and conditions, is not their fault.

We got a very nice hybrid car in top condition.. Staff throughout was friendly with no waiting times in early August period. Super Relax!!
