Agriturismo Pieve Sprenna

My wife and I just spent five idyllic nights at Agriturismo Pieve Sprenna! The location and views are amazing, with so many comfortable areas on the grounds for relaxing, swinging, swimming, and snacking outdoors. The breakfast was plentiful and included home baked cookies and crostatas, and maybe the best scrambled eggs with local tomatoes we have ever eaten! We enjoyed two wonderful dinners in the restaurant, four full courses for only 30 euros each! Our room was comfortable, quiet, and well furnished. Thanks to the family and staff at Pieve Sprenna for providing a wonderful holiday stay!!

Spent 3 amazing nights here in their barrel room - La Botte! The grounds and the agriturismo itself is beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and so quiet. Food is great too!

Lovely pool, although the water was really cold when we visited in September.

The barrel room is quite the experience, you need to adapt to “living” in a small space but I would stay there again any day!

Location is good for visiting nearby towns such as Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano and Siena.

Perfect summer holiday
We visited Pieve Sprenna for the first time this year for a 2 week family vacation. As hoped, we loved it from the minute we arrived and by the end of our stay, we booked for next year even though we had totally other plans originally!
As a family of five, we just loved the fact that our teenagers felt so happy at Pieve Sprenna, as well as our 7 year old. The grounds are breathtaking with many secluded swings, lounges or seating areas to enjoy the sunset or views from. The pool is huge and we had so much fun there. The location offers so much and whilst we loved to explore Tuscany, we also totally enjoyed just relaxing and recharging at Pieve Sprenna. The food was amazing (as were the drinks) and not having to cook in our holidays was just perfect and a first for us!
Seriously, where else can you decide spontaneously on the day whether or not to come to dinner and not be charged? The flexibility is superb! We met really nice people, many of whom are regulars.
Most of all though, we felt so welcome! The entire family is lovely and it was hard to say good bye at the end. We miss them. Now we have one year to loose the pounds we piled on during the holidays before it all starts again. We can’t wait to be back! 💕

If you’re looking for an incredible stay in Tuscany, this is the place. Centrally located close to a lot of day trip locations. Breakfast is free every morning, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They helped us call restaurants to make reservations for lunch in cities nearby for our day trips. Be sure to eat at the restaurant on-site at least once. You’ll be glad you did! It is 30 euro for a 4 course meal per person. Come hungry! All of the food is handmade and delicious. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy! Book now! We can’t wait to come back!

I had again a very nice holiday ! Four years in a row. Everyone is so kind and friendly that you feel like home. For me this feels like heaven on earth. See you defintely next year again !

Just spent a week at Pieve Sprenna, we Made lovely memories at their cozy Farm. We stayed in one of their apartments, which was very spacious and clean. The Family who runs the Business was always available when we needed help and they could even help out with tools for our broke down bicycle.
We spent our week cycling through the landscapes of Tuscany and the farm is a great base as it’s situated on a hilltop with Access to a mainroad.
In the afternoons/ evening we would rest in the loungchairs by the pool or go for a swim. We definitly recommend having Dinner at Pieve Sprenna, they provide one menu with various dishes and some dessert. People, dogs, horses, donkeys live together in perfect harmony and that’s what you really can feel. Thank you for the perfect stay.

Unbelievably amazing place. I stayed here for 8 nights, and every moment with them was amazing. View, food, and the hospitality are exceptionally great. I definitely want to comeback again.

This place was amazing. It had great views, nice drinks and a peaceful atmosphere. The owner was very nice and the service was quick. There were plenty of outdoor places to sit with amazing views. The animals were also very pleasant and the kids enjoyed playing with them. Locals were very kind and explained the process happing around us very well. Overall it was the perfect place to spend my lunch.

Had great pasta here on their terrace. They have amazing views here! Great staff too! Their own wine is great too!

This is an Agriturismo that has all the beauty of a Tuscan farmhouse and the comfort of a top notch hotel while maintaining an intimate charm for each of their guest.

The rooms were incredibly comfortable and 100% clean. Even my double room had thoughtful decorative detail and functional ones too that made my stay extremely comfortable.

The on-site restaurant is fantastic.
I stayed for a week and dined there every night and wasn’t bored once. In fact I looked forward to dinner and still miss the meals of rustic Tuscan stews, home made pici, roast game and decadent desserts.
Breakfast was a buffet of fresh eggs, crispy bacon, fruits, cereals, toast and home made cakes.

Set in Buoconvento, I came to find that this is a very convenient location to base yourself if exploring the Tuscan countryside and many beautiful villages surrounding it from Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena and many more.

Pieve Sprenna is surrounded by cypress trees and the famous rolling hills of Tuscany. It has a vineyard, olive trees and even a small farm of animals on one side of the estate. On the other, a pool, a jacuzzi, hammocks and quiet areas to enjoy a glass of vino and that priceless view.

And if you decide not to explore…. The estate itself offers plenty of areas to relax, retreat and enjoy the freedom of not having to do anything but enjoy yourself.

But what brings it all together is the family that make it as special as it is. Annalisa, Brando, Victoria, Aurora and their four legged friends make Pieve Sprenna everything you dream a Tuscan holiday in the countryside would be like.

where to start. The room was cute and cozy. Clean and well decorated. Heated floors were really nice and the views from this place were great. The food was fantastic, we ate dinner and breakfast every day and loved each meal. The family was warm and welcoming and made us feel very at home. The horseback riding was a major highlight as well. Highly recommend doing a ride if you can.

Beautiful place! Magnificant view everywhere, perfect pool with enough space (sun and shadow), very nice and big apartments, authentic, great atmosphere and fantastic dinner! The owner Brando is a briljant cook. At Pieve Sprenna you can taste the real Italian cuisine (4 courses) every evening for a very reasonable price. If you want to relax and enjoy holidays in peace with children, this is the place to be.

Pieve Sprenna is by far the most amazing accommodation I’ve stayed at in Italy so far!Cozy, quaint rooms, stunning views all around the place, delicious food (they serve their own wine and olive oil), lovely staff and animals all around the place - and only a short drive to cities like Siena, etc.

I recommend to have dinner and try the menu as well as the Florentine Steak at Pieve Sprenna!

And book the horse riding tour, an unforgettable tour through beautiful landscape in Tuscany!

Beautiful property with amazing views. Dinner was lovely and the horse riding was a highlight. When visiting Buonconvento be sure to stop by II Cantuccio Wine Bar. Great cocktails and a huge gin selection.

We've been coming to this wonderful family for 5 years in a row now and have booked again for 2024! In addition to the breathtaking surroundings, the beautiful view and the characteristic construction .. Annalisa, Brando, Virginia, Aurora and their entire team try their outmost best from early in the morning to late at night, to guarantee you a fantastic stay in their agriturismo.

Amazing agriturismo set in a beautiful location. Very comfortable beds, stunning views everywhere, plenty of seats to enjoy the typical Tuscan landscape and a big plus are the animals around the agriturismo (horses, a goat, chicken, ducks, donkey, etc.). Would love to return!

Gorgeous location in the heart of Tuscany! The host is very nice and the place looks very beautiful and rustic. The rooms are pretty and clean and you have a tiny kitchen at your disposal as well. Delicious breakfast and dinner as well, please note that the dinner contains 4 dishes so be ready for it 😁 it cost 25€ per person. Besides this I really recommend taking a horse ride on the Tuscany hills from around, it is very worthed!!! The horses are very clam and the guide takes very good care of them and you 😄. Also the location is close to a lot of tiny villages you can visit such as Buonconvento, Montalcino, Val d'orcia, Montechiello, Montepulciano, Pienza and of core Siena 😁. I will definitely come back again, you can never have enough of Tuscany!

Beautiful. Vista is beautiful to look at. One of the girls from the Western horse back riding Airbnb experience had a birthday and they made it special for her by buying the flowers and making her a cake...per her boyriends request. Food was phenomenal.

I honestly can’t give this place enough stars! It’s run by amazing people who are incredibly friendly and passionate about the area. Every detail was amazing. This will absolutely be my go-to place every time I’m in Tuscany. If you don’t book here, it’s a mistake!
