Branduccio - Chef Carmela D'Ambrosio - Fine Tuscan Cuisine

We arrived at Agriturismo Podere Cunina in the last afternoon and decided to head into Buonconvento for dinner. Using Google Maps we stumbled across Branduccio. After reading the reviews and Carmela's story we sat down the street at the wine shop and waited for them to open. We were there at the begging of May and early in the week, so when we arrived, we were the first and only ones in the restaurant. That gave us the opportunity to meet Chef Carmela and Nicola personally, taste a little of what she was preparing for the day and tour her amazing kitchen. Right from the get go, we knew we were in for an amazing evening. We opted for the Chef's menu but challenged Carmela with some modifications to accommodate my food allergies. I will tell you that she rose to the occasion and exceeded our expectations. And to top it off, Nicola provided excellent advice on the wine and provide great commentary on the dishes that were prepared. We spent another 1 1/2 weeks in Italy, but by far that was our best meal. What an experience. If you anywhere close to Buonconvento, you have to stop in and experience some of Carmela's creations. You won't be disappointed. We will be back!

We stumbled across this gem when staying in the village and it surpassed all expectations. Find dining at it’s best with a talented chef.
It was clear from the tour at the beginning the amount of passion that went into the menu and the dishes. The theatre, flavours and presentation were a highlight of our trip. .

Ci hanno accolti e coccolati sin dal primo momento. Il locale è sobrio ed elegante al tempo stesso. I piatti sono un trionfo per la vista e il palato. Tutto perfetto, anche il conto.

Non una cucina, una esperienza. Locale gradevole e accogliente. Servizio impeccabile. Una cucina toscana fedele alla tradizione ma personalizzata, ritagliata, ridipinta con la sapienza di una chef davvero eccezionale. Noi ed il tavolo affianco non riuscivamo a contenere il piacere scambiandoci giudizi sempre ottimi su quello che abbiamo mangiato. Le cipolle Toscane con pistacchi e salsa al formaggio era sublime.

Esperienza deliziosa: location, personale e soprattutto il cibo. Proposte creative senza stravolgere il gusto delle pietanze, buona la scelta dal menù e ottima la qualità dei prodotti e la cottura. Un ristorante che ho segnato fra i miei preferiti

Una magnifica nuova realtà in un borgo bellissimo in Toscana, il Branduccio a Buonconvento. Indubbie le capacità della chef, piatti ricercati e ben eseguiti senza perdere il legame alla cucina toscana. Anche il servizio ai tavoli è molto ben eseguito. La scelta della cucina a vista è vincente. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere un tavolo proprio di fronte alla cucina ed è stato un piacere vedere lavorare la chef con i suoi sous chef che lavoravano con passione e col sorriso sulle labbra mentre preparavano i nostri piatti. Ampia la carta dei vini con etichette anche ricercate. Davvero consigliato!

Ottima cucina delicata e di classe, molto attenta ai dettagli. Locale completamente nuovo e accogliente, come il personale che sta al pubblico.

Innovative toskanische Küche die einen Umweg wert ist. Branduccio ist ein neues Restaurant mit freundlichem Service. Wir waren zum Mittagessen hier und konnten toskanische Spezialitäten auf hohem Niveau geniessen. Alle Gerichte sind frisch zubereitet, perfekt präsentiert und das alles in einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente.

Aldo, unsere Bedienung kannte sich mit der Herkunft der Zutaten hervorragend aus. Welches Fleisch genau verarbeitet wurde und wo es her kam. Die Pasta wird im Haus zubereitet und auch die Beratung zur ausfuehrlichen Weinkarte war tadellos. Carmela D'Ambrosio arbeitet mit ihrem Team in der offenen Küche und produziert hervorragende Gerichte die wir alle genossen haben. Wenn Sie auf gutes Essen und beste Zutaten Wert legen, sind Sie hier bestens aufgehoben.
