Pangea Villa 8 - Heated pool included when open - Usually min stay 7 nights

We love Pangea! We have been twice now, first with friends then back with family a few years later and it’s perfect, and we’ll definitely be back again…
Rooms are spacious, very clean and comfy all en-suites and lots of natural light.
There are plenty of social areas outdoors and we had many days enjoying the gardens, pool and the games on offer (badminton, bocce and basketball). Eating supper on the terrace we had prepared on the outside kitchen is a perfect end to the day.
The house is really well equipped and everything is well looked after.
Paola and her husband are wonderful hosts, they couldn’t do enough for us, even providing a little bouncer chair for our baby. On our first trip Paola even offered to buy us breakfast as we were arriving so late.
The infant/ child cot is perfect even for a 2 week stay and looked brand new.
Things to do around Pangea: potentino wine tasting in an amazing castle, 5 mins drive from Pangea. Trattoria in campangia has fantastic local ‘slow food’ with a very good wine list.
Olive oil tasting at fratoio franci is a must!
Breakfast at the cafe beside the local Tamoil does wonderful cornetto (croissants) and cappuccino. Also has a well stocked deli and some basic dry foods.

Paola and Angelo were two fantastic hosts. The house is spacious, clean and well positioned in the Val D'Orcia region. The rooms are very comfortable and the outside garden with the swimming pool is so relaxing. Breakfast was very tasty with lovely home made jams and cookies. Hot spirngs, beautiful oak woods and amazing sorrounding area do the rest.
So much recommended, you will not regret.

We were a group of 8 people that stayed at Pangea for 3 weeks during August. (Six adults and two children aged 8 & 11.)

The House:
The four bedrooms are all ensuite with individual, modern and new air-conditioning units as well as efficient, quiet ceiling fans. In addition, there are 2 air-conditioning units in the main kitchen / living area - all really appreciated during the August heatwave.

The kitchen is well equipped with a functional open-plan design accessing the optional alfresco dining area. There is a wood-burning, built-in barbecue which was always fully stocked with wood by the owners. In addition, there is also an outside gas burner stove top.

The television is modern and Internet-connected to a reasonable bandwidth (around 3-5 mbps). The Internet link allows Netflix and Amazon video services, if required.

Pangea Villa is situated in a basin valley off a short dirt track. This makes it tranquil and remote - virtually zero traffic - whilst only a short ride from the nearest towns and shops.

Outside:
Huge and very well kept property (around 500 x 500 meters).

Pool was kept at a constant, perfect 30 degrees temperature with a solar heating system and fully maintained daily by the owners in an early morning visit. These maintenance visit included daily vegetable harvests from the onsite garden (we once even had some black truffles!). The garden also include a multitude of herbs for cooking (thyme, rosemary, sage, mint, etc.)
A sports area with football pitch, pétanque, Badminton and basketball rounds off the package.

Region:
The Monte Cucco Valley is relatively uncommercialized with a number of small, charming hilltop villages and fantastic, inexpensive wines. The region is really fertile and lush, with nice, wild walking trails and beautiful spaces and vistas.

Finally, the owners Paulo and Angelo are excellent hosts - always friendly, caring and available.

Our stay was truly memorable, and we are all in agreement that Pangea Villa could not be more highly recommended!

Posto meraviglioso, host molto disponibili. La casa ha tutto quello che serve per passare delle giornate in completo relax.
Ogni stanza ha il suo bagno, la sala ha un ampio spazio comodo per poter ospitare più persone e la cucina ha tutto il necessario . Lo spazio esterno è delizioso: una bellissima veranda con griglia e vista piscina e un ampio spazio verde per far giocare i bambini. Consigliatissimo per vacanze primaverili ed estive con bambini.

Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Jeden Tag wird die Poolanlage gereinigt ohne das man merkt, dass sie da sind.
Täglich frisches Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten.
Großes Grundstück mit Basketballplatz, Fussballplatz, ausreichend Spielen und Vieles mehr.
Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen, daher totale Ruhe und viel Möglichkeit zur Entspannung. Die Ausstattung des Hauses liegt für diese Preisklasse weit über dem Durchschnitt
Alles in allem fünf Sterne, würde auch mehr geben, wenn ich könnte.

Ich kann es daher mit bestem Gewissen empfehlen, hier Urlaub zu machen.

Abbiamo soggiornato a villa Pangea, nei primi giorni di gennaio 2023. La struttura è calda ed accogliente, Paola e Angelo deliziosi host, molto disponibili.
Il parco che circonda la villa garantisce privacy e silenzio, beni preziosi quando si viene dal caos cittadino.
Speriamo di poter tornare nella bella stagione per godere di tutte le attività a disposizione degli ospiti.

Un vero e proprio paradiso immerso nella natura.
Siamo stati in questo posto meraviglio a capodanno; i proprietari ci hanno accolto calorosamente, dimostrandosi fin da subito gentili e disponibili.
Casale super attrezzato, pulito e confortevole.
Essendo dicembre non abbiamo potuto godere della piscina, sicuramente ci torneremo con la bella stagione perchè è davvero un posto perfetto per un weekend/settimana di pieno relax.

Wow! Ein herrliches, toll angelegtes Anwesen. Hier findet jeder eine gemütliche Ecke zum Träumen und Entspannen! Paola und Angelo haben ein kleines Paradies geschaffen, in dem dich auch unser Hund jederzeit sehr wohl gefühlt hat! Von Badminton, über Boule und Volleyball, bis zum Fußball oder Tischkicker ist alles vorhanden. Darüberhinaus stand uns jederzeit der sehr gepflegte Pool mit Poolbar und Kühlschränken zur Verfügung. Im Haus sind alle Räume klimatisiert und jedes Schlafzimmer hat sein eigenes Bad. Perfekt. Paola und Angelo sind tolle, herzliche und äußerst zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Jeden Morgen gab es frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten und am Wochenende sogar Kuchen und Tiramisu. Vielen lieben Dank dafür!

Bei der Pangea Villa passt einfach alles. Der perfekte Ort um Ruhe zu finden. Der Garten und das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, der Aussenbereich mit Lounge und Aussenküche mit Feuerstelle lädt zum Verweilen ein und der Pool mit Bar erfrischt Körper und Seele. Paola und Angelo sind herzlich und kümmern sich selbst um das Haus und den Umschwung. Sie haben einfach an alles gedacht. Steckdosen und Beleuchtung finden sich im und ausserhalb des Hauses (auch am Pool), Solarpanels, Aussendusche und Trinkwasser, Klimaanlagen in allen Zimmern des Hauses. Alles funktional und praktisch.
Die tollen Gastgeber haben uns täglich mit frischem Gemüse aus dem Gemüsegarten im Areal verwöhnt. Ein grosses Dankeschön an euch beide für alles! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und auch unser Hund hat sich wie zuhause gefühlt.

Unser zweiter Aufenthalt in der Villa war so phantastisch wie im Jahr zuvor. Das Haus liegt romantisch und wir genießen die absolute Ruhe. Paola und Angelo sind die liebevollsten Gastgeber, die man sich nur vorstellen kann. Sie kümmern sich um jedes Detail und nicht nur das Haus sondern auch der parkähnliche Garten sind in einem perfekten Zustand. Besser kann man es nicht vorfinden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

La location è proprio fuori dal centro, attorno c'è solo bosco, pace, tranquillità. Ideale per chi fugge dal caos cittadino. I titolari sono gentilissimi e tutta la struttura è molto ben tenuta e pulita. Unica pecca la strada stretta e parzialmente sterrata, buia e in mezzo al bosco per raggiungere la villa.

Waaaaw!! Un sollievo che ci sono sempre posti con Pangea Villa! Veramento meraviglioso!! La casa, il giardino, l'atmosfera, la piscina,..... waw! Paola & Angelo, you did a great job with passion and patience. Also the little river 'Ente' that passes nearby is fantastic. When arriving, you feel immediately 'at home' and welcome. Perfect accomodation also! We come from the city of Antwerp and the quitness and peacefulness of this place.... è un sollievo. Grazie mille!! A presto!

Un posto davvero imboscato ma meraviglioso, fornitissimo per qualsiasi intrattenimento, piscina, biliardino, campo da pallavolo, calcio, bocce e altro. Il tutto perfettamente gestito a livello di spazi. Impeccapile

Posto bellissimo immerso nella natura, struttura con tutti i comfort. I proprietari Angelo e Paola persone stupende e disponibili. Vale la pena andare anche solo per un weekend, ancora meglio una settimana. Consigliatissimo.

Posto immerso nella natura... proprietari gentili e molto disponibili...villa magnifica,giardino e piscina curatissimi....pulizia sopra ogni cosa...campo da bocce,biliardino, barbecue,etc per lo svago di grandi e piccoli. Da consigliare assolutamente!

Sono stato ospite di Pangea Villa a fine ottobre 2018 per 5 giorni con la mia compagna. Ho aspettato un po' prima di scrivere la recensione per essere sicuro di fare una cosa fatta bene ed equa e non di impulso.

Beh, non c'è niente da fare, non bastano 5 stelle per premiare il posto e la gentilezza di Paola e Angelo.

La villa è veramente un qualcosa di spettacolare, curata in ogni dettaglio, pulita, ordinata, ecologica, situata in mezzo alla natura e isolata da caos e rumore. Il costo per notte, inclusivo di colazione abbondantissima, è quello di un normale Bed & Breakfast.

I padroni di casa sono da 10 stelle. Disponibili per tutto, ma anche discreti. Ci siamo fermati per ore a chiaccherare con loro, quasi come fossero vecchi amici o parenti.

Non resta che tornare in estate per provare la splendida piscina :)

Posto incantevole in mezzo la natura in un contesto elegante .
Paola e Angelo sono sempre disponibili e seguono gli ospiti come fossero a casa loro.
La villa oltre stanze con bagno personale offrono varie strutture per il divertimento, come campi da calcio ,pallavolo ,bocce e un percorso per allenarsi intorno la struttura.Vi consiglio di visitare i paesi vicino a pochi km di distanza.
Ve lo consiglio come posto per le vacanze anche perché c'è una bellissima piscina con bar ,lettini e ombrelloni.
Ci Ritornerò di sicuro.
