Podere Montale Winery

A group of 7 of us staying in a nearby airb&b had a lovely experience doing the wine tasting and tour. Sylvio the owner showed us the vinyard and took us around every step of the wine making process. It was interesting and fun and made our last night in Tuscany. Coming away we could see how important it is to support these local wineries so I would really recommend it. 3 different types of wine was served, along with a delicious local charcuterie board. Highly highly recommend!

We did a vineyard tour and wine tasting and absolutely loved it! The staff is so welcoming, friendly, and passionate about what they do! The location and entire property is so beautiful! Wine of course is delicious. We highly recommend a tasting here!

Podere Montale: Actually you should call it "Paradise Montale"!
This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to in hole Italy. The winery itself fits perfectly into the amazing landscape, the vines are amazing, too and the people - especially Silvio and Simone - are...guess what? Amazing as well!
If you want to spend a couple of days in this almost unknown part of Tuscany and if you value good food and drinks in an authentic Italian atmosphere: This is the right place!

Can't wait to come back and to open the next bottle "Peposo" on its beautiful terrace with the unbelievable view into the open land!

Wow! What a fantastic place!
I spent the last couple of days at Podere Montale and I totally recommend it.
Silvio and Simone have treated me very well and they were always keen to give some amazing hints about what to discover in this wonderful part of Tuscany.
The room were I stayed was very clean and the view was just incredible.

The perfect spot. My husband and I stayed here for two nights last week and could not be happier with: the location, the view, the cleanliness, and also the hostess (Serena). Serena was very helpful in recommending places to eat for lunch and dinner. We had a nice healthy breakfast included in our room rate and took a tour of the winery. We made sure to try the wine and bought two bottles that we enjoyed on the property at sunset both nights. We will be back! We loved our stay here.

If you are looking for a great experience in Tuscany this is the best place to go! The hotel is located on the top of the hill so you have a stunning view of Tuscany, the wine is incredible. The hotel was very clean and you have everything you need. The service was amazing! It is a place and experience that I will always remember.

Beautiful views, great wine and a fantastic tour of the winery. We were made to feel very welcome and had a great afternoon learning about the wine and relaxing with a few glasses of their delicious wine in the terrace. Pair your visit with a table at Le Logge al Borgo next door who do fantastic food

Amazing, amazing, amazing! A place of sublime beauty, fantastic wine, and generous hospitality. It was one of the highlights of our two-week visit to Tuscany. Highly recommended!!!

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo avuto la fortuna di poter fare un aperitivo presso il Podere Montale con vista mozzafiato sulla Val d'Orcia. L'esperienza è stata magnifica sotto tutti i punti di vista, dalla location alla qualità ottima dei salumi e dei vini offerti. L'accoglienza è molto calorosa da parte del personale e ci si sente a casa. Consigliatissimo.

Siamo arrivati a Podere Montale un po' per caso, prenotando una ultima disponibilità per 4 giorni di vacanza in famiglia. Abbiamo scoperto un luogo di grande cultura enologica, di grande educazione e visione sociale, un luogo dove il tempo scorre secondo le leggi della biodinamica e nulla viene accelerato. La proprietà, rappresentata da un giovane ragazzo, introduce in punta di piedi l'ospite alla filosofia del Podere, permettendo di gustarne l'ospitalità e la qualità. Bravo Silvio! Ci rivedremo sicuramente.

Soggiornando al Podere Montale abbiamo fatto una degustazione con aperitivo presso il winery. Bellissima esperienza sotto ogni aspetto, dalla location alla professionalità di Tommaso. Ottimo il tagliere di salumi e formaggi che ha accompagnato i vini.

L'atmosfera di pace che si respira in questo posto è impagabile. Ottimi i vini ed il cibo che ha accompagnato la nostra degustazione. Il ragazzo che ci ha guidato nella visita alla cantina e durante la degustazione è stato estremamente preciso e disponibile.

Wir haben mit 13 Personen eine Weintour gemacht. Die vorherige Kommunikation per Mail lief problemlos und wir haben immer sehr schnell Antworten zu unseren Fragen erhalten. Es gibt die Möglichkeit sich Taxis buchen zu lassen.
Die Tour war sehr informativ. Leider wurde uns vorher nicht mitgeteilt, dass an dem Tag, an dem unsere Tour gebucht war, die Weinberge nicht betreten kann, weil sie vorher besprüht wurden. Wenigstens konnten wir aussen herum laufen und die tour durch den weinkeller war auch spannend.
Das anschliessende Tasting mit dem essen war sehr gut. Es wurde darauf geachtet, dass auch vegetarier dabei waren und dementsprechend angepasst.
Die Weine waren super lecker und die Aussicht ist atemberaubend.

Ottima cantina, molto curata immersa in un paesaggio incantevole. Molto interessante la visita guidata, accompagnati dal personale che si è dimostrato appassionato e paziente nel rispondere alle nostre domande. Veramente consigliata.

Sono venuto qui con l'intento di staccare la spina e godermi un momento di puro relax insieme alla mia famiglia, e dopo quattro giornate spese in questo magnifico posto non posso che essere soddisfatto e consigliarlo. Le strutture sono molto belle, gli appartamenti spaziosi, con tutti i comfort necessari. Il panorama è mozzafiato, la natura è ovunque e l'aria è pulita. È gestito egregiamente da tutto lo staff, in particolare con Stefano abbiamo condiviso una piccola esperienza di assaggi dei loro vini locali, buonissimi, accompagnati da ottimi prodotti caserecci sempre di zona. Una piacevolissima scoperta.

Esperienza che consiglio vivamente a tutti! Stefano, un vero professionista, gentile e disponibile nello spiegarti dettagliatamente il processo con cui viene prodotto il vino.

La terrazza dove viene organizzata la degustazione ha una vista meravigliosa, ti immergi nella natura mentre degusti il vino ed i prodotti locali.

Ci tornerò sicuramente, anche solo per un saluto al suo cagnolino Bacco!
