Francesco and Serena are wonderful hosts! They offer a fairytale cottage for guests and offer everything a traveller could need and more.

We have stayed at Agriturismo Frallarenza several times. Francesco and Serena are the best agriturismo hosts we have had in all of our Italian travel experiences. The apartments are beautiful and comfortable. Every time we have stayed some new upgrade has been added to make our stay even more comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with staples, the refrigerator always has something good in it, and we have an easy espresso maker. They also share produce from the garden, and there is a fig tree right outside the apartment door. Enjoy your stay!

Unique holiday destination.
We have been vacationing in Tuscany and Umbria for last 9 years. We met many wonderful people and we lived in many fantastic holiday homes. However, Frallarenza created by exceptional hosts Serena and Francesco is absolutely unique. It has everything what we think is needed to make your holiday a success.
Agriturismo is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, yet still close to the motorway. You can very quickly get by car to charming towns and villages.
Within an one hour's drive, you will find Orvieto, Citta della Pieve, Pitigliano, Montepulciano, Cortona and many, many more.
The apartments are perfectly equipped with everything you need for a holiday in the countryside.
Covered terraces provide shade on hot days, and the air conditioning system in all areas ensures the comfort of staying up to the highest standards.
A magnificent natural garden with a gourmet pool complements the image of the place.
The hosts, Serena and Francesco, have created a warm and lovely place where a group of happy pets (2 dogs, 4 cats) accompany the guests as though they have known them for years.
We spent in Frallarenza last 4 holidays and we can not imagine that we would not go back there many times in future.

Wonderful stay at Frallarenza! We (two couples) spent a terrific 4 nights with Serena and Francesco at their lovely farm north of Ovieto. After an 11 day whirlwind tour of the country, our group needed a few days to catch our breath. Frallarenza was just the ticket----warm hosts, fine accommodations, great cooking class with Serena and Francesco, and a bonus----the olive harvest started the day after we arrived! We took day trips to Orvieto, Civita, and then relaxed around the farm. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Highly recommend a stay at Frallarenza!

Agriturismo Frallarenza - little piece of heaven in Italy

Me and my wife spent a wonderful week in Umbria and Tuscany. Francesco and Serena run a small farm, surrounded by hills in Orvieto region. Our apartment was the one with one bedroom and living room. The whole land is stunning - wineyards, garden, and hills. Serena is into pottery and weaving. Owners live nearby and they are always there to make sure you have everything you need. They go above and beyond with their hospitality. We arrived to a fridge full of local produce. Very quick wi-fi in the property. They gave us all local information - always best to get recommendations from anyone local. On pretty much daily basis they would give us fresh fruit and veg from the garden. You can't ask for more. Our stay felt like home. We can't recommend it enough!

Whether you plan to visit nearby beautiful cities like Orvieto, Perugia, Pienza, Pitigliano or finally read those books near the refreshing spacious pool, Frallarenza is it the perfect Agriturismo. Situated between Lago di Bolsena and Lago Trasimeno, Siena and Rome, Agriturismo Frallarenza cannot be more central to the quintessential places you want to discover in Italy.
However, it is the heart-warming hospitality of Serena and Francesco that makes Frallarenza a place like home. All colorful ceramic plates, dishes and even tiles are handmade by Serena. Francesco turned the Agriturismo into an energy self-sufficient place while keeping comfort at a high level.
In the morning, you will find delicious pomodori, zucchini and figs on your terrace table hand-picked by Serena. Fresh basil, sage and many more tasteful herbs are just a few steps away.
When the sun has set you can either enjoy looking at the bright stars or chasing fireflies flickering and floating by the hundreds around this lovely setting.
Frallarenza is a truly warm and relaxing Agriturismo in the heart of Italy.

We had a very nice time at Frallarenza. The place is perfect for 2 families travlleling together (we did). Rent both apartments and have the whole pace for yourselves. Everything was clean and the surroundings are peaceful. Great kitchen - perfect for homecooking and the hosts will stop by now and then with vegetables from their garden.
Pool is wnderful and we had quite a few battles in the large room with tabletennis.
Highly recomendable

We returned of the third time this year and each time our stay has been outstanding. Everything has been thought through- mosquito screens on the windows, pool with good mix of sunshine and shade (and always clean), plenty of quiet areas for reading. Great location, not far from Orvieto and a wonderful low key pizzeria a short drive away.

A beautiful oasis of calm and tranquility

Posto incantevole! Curato nei minimi dettagli. Hai a disposizione tutto il necessario. La colazione buonissima, dolci fatti in casa.
Per chi piace stare in tranquillità è il posto ideale. Serena e Francesco sono di una gentilezza rara. Grazie, a presto.

Agriturismo Frallarenza is een heerlijke locatie om je vakantie door te brengen met het gezin. Wij verbleven in het grote appartement. Het is zeer rustig gelegen in Umbrië, vlak bij de grens met zowel Toscane als Lazio. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Alle ruimtes hebben airconditioning, wat gezien de temperatuur tijdens ons verblijf (oplopend tot 38 graden) heerlijk was in de nacht. Eten kan onder de patio, uit de zon. Daarnaast is er nog een buitenzitje onder de bomen. Francesco en Serena zijn super gastvrij. Bij aankomst kregen we een verse pastamaaltijd. Verder lag er verse groente en vers fruit uit eigen tuin, verse eieren en heerlijke zelfgemaakte taartjes en cakes. En tijdens ons verblijf werd dit steeds bijgevuld. Serena verraste ons ook tweemaal met haar gefrituurde courgettebloemen. Heerlijk. Het zwembad is zeer schoon, met voldoende schaduw. Er is een ruimte met een proffesionele tafeltennistafel. Francesco en Serena zijn zeer begaan met het milieu. Al het afval wordt gescheiden, GFT wordt zelf gecomposteerd en de grote schuur is volledig bedekt met zonnepanelen waarmee de agriturismo volledig zelfvoorzienend is voor energie. In de buurt is genoeg te zien en te doen. Kortom, we hebben twee fantastische weken gehad en komen zeker nog eens terug.

Abbiamo soggiornato x 4 notti dal 28 dicembre 2019, eravamo 4 famiglie e abbiamo riempito entrambi gli appartamenti. Bellissima esperienza, posto immerso nella natura, Francesco e Serena ci hanno ospitato con calore facendoci trovare di tutto x la colazione. Cucina attrezzata, abbiamo anche fatto un barbecue all aperto il 31 a pranzo visto il bel meteo. La casa è grande e completa di tutto, pulita e organizzata. Mangiavamo a tavola il 14,non vediamo l'ora di tornarci!

Stiamo lasciando adesso questa oasi di pace. L'appartamento è molto accogliente e ben organizzato, dotato di tutto. 10 persone possono soggiornare comodamente. I proprietari molto disponibili e simpatici. Lo consigliamo vivamente

Cinque stelle meritate.Siamo stati in questo agriturismo per una settimana ad agosto nell'appartamento piccolo adatto per 4 persone molto accogliente,pulito e completo di tutto, l'appartamento è dotato di zanzariere e aria condizionata, piscina perfetta e sempre pulita.I proprietari sono molto accoglienti. Torneremo sicuramente.

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche bei Serena und Francesco verbracht. Die große Wohnung war ein Traum. Alles perfekt eingerichtet und sehr sehr sauber.
Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und bestens versorgt :-)
Die Gegend läßt die Herzen aller Naturliebhaber höher schlagen.

Luogo accogliente e tranquillo. Francesco e Serena, i proprietari dell'agriturismo, sono molto gentili, disponibili e fanno sentire gli ospiti come a casa propria. Consigliatissimo!!
