Wow! We can’t stop talking about this place even a week after staying there. We stayed one night while visiting Canicattì (a visit to see the town of which my family had immigrated) and it was not just the most charming place we stayed, but no doubt the best food we ate during our 10 day trip around Sicily. I can not stop thinking about the gorgeous, home-grown mulberry granita Antonio made. I’m sad I won’t be able to eat it everyday! Antonio is an extremely gracious host, knowledgeable, welcoming; you feel right at home upon entering the premise. The meal he prepared for us was so thoughtfully crafted, you can taste the love and care threaded into it. If you’re passing through the area (or heck, go out of your way just to come here!) this is a must-stay. I hope to come again! Grazi, Antonio (and Boris 😊!)

What to say about Antonio's place other than this is what airbnb should be all about - authenticity. This has been our best experience of airbnb to date and it's all thanks to Antonio. The location and accommodation are brilliant - the house has been in Antonio's family for a long time and has all the feel of a true Sicilian countryside property and our room was clean and very comfortable. It's also very convenient to reach Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples as well as Scala dei Turchi. That said though, listen to Antonio's recommendations for places to visit in the area as Naro for instance, was a suggestion of his and was the best thing we saw whilst there - go for sunset to the castle with a 360 panoramic view. The main thing to say about this property though is Antonio's hospitality. He is a true gentleman with an infectious passion for his area and Sicily as a whole. We ate with Antonio both nights which were true gastronomic experiences, and as other reviews say, were certainly among our best meals ever. Definitely ask for dinner! In fact I enjoyed our meals so much Antonio has kindly sent me a list of recipes to attempt back in Britain. Antonio thank you again for a fantastic experience and see you when you're next in London!

We found this gem on airbnb. If you are looking for a way to experience Sicily at it's core with her people and food, look no further! This is a beautiful home setting where home cooked 7 course meal is served in the garden and is fit for the kings! Antonio is the best host we have encountered and his warm welcome and cooking made us fall in love with this beautiful part of Italy. The location is central to many lovely beaches as well as exploring history. The valley of temples in Agrigiento and the Spanish steps are 30 minutes away. Higly recommend this spot!

Conosco benissimo villa cani ho avuto modo parecchie volte di gustare i prelibati piatti di Antonio cani degno padrone di casa e chef ormai affermato prelibato il suo macco di fave o il pesto ma sarebbe sminuitivo parlare di qualche piatto in particolare perché si può elencare una serie infinita di prelibatezze segnalo anche le prelibate marmellate di frutta fresca
