We spent great 4 days in Le Querce Di Cota and enjoyed every second. It is a really wonderful Agriturismo - very clean, with excellent food and amazing hosts. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything, we will come back

Beautiful and peaceful retreat in the heart of Sicily. The owners really go the extra mile to make sure guests have everything they need. Highly recommended.

Nice scenic views.

Light bulbs of various quality. Some extremly bright and not cosy as they should have been ... shower head could have been better (small head).

The location, the rooms, the food, and the unforgettable service by Giuditta and her team small but hard-working team (and I think her mother too?).
Location is idyllic even in the rain with the variety of plant life in bloom across the steep, rolling hills. Not much to do nearby but take long walks in the hills—and that was exactly what we needed!
The room—where we spent a lot of time after catching a stomach bug in Ortygia—was beautiful, comfortable, and what a sunrise!
The food—rustic, local, and delicious; loved how the perfectly roasted lamb served the first night became part of a wonderful pasta sauce the second night. Another treat for me (as a well-traveled cook) was the simple perfection of their mixed grill, cooked over uniquely aromatic wood (presumably oak?), served with local lemon and olive oil.
Most importantly, Giudetta and staff were stars! Hard-working, hospitable, and never once made us feel like we were inconveniencing them with any requests, or even after we drove away with the *irreplaceable* room key in my pocket(!) of which Giudetta kindly reminded us, an hour and a half later as we approached Nicosia! She even allowed us to drop the key back in Troina, saving us a lot of time and driving, and making my wife slightly less irritated by my absent-mindedness!
TIP: Do not take the room key with you—for the sake of Giudetta and her team, and whomever is driving; it is a stunning but LONG and windy road back to Le Querce 🤣!

LE Querce di Cota is not perfect, however the owners are so humble, helpful, friendly and welcoming that they definitely deserve a 5 star rating.
- It is located in a lovely place with breathtaking scenery, however it's a hassle and very tiring to drive to the location. Quite long drives to reach places. It's also very hard to find restaurants nearby.
- it's very clean, however there were small things which in my opinion need changing e.g. our bathroom mirror was rusty and it was too far up to even put on contact lenses , we only had one small bathroom bin
- the food was homemade, abundant and good. However, I think here in Sicily in general, they don't serve sinful dessert, we were only offered ice cream and fruit, it was all good, but being on holiday I wished for a piece of cake or good dessert.
- breakfast was good, but not so child friendly. If I had to add something to the breakfast, I would suggest a few small variety cereal packets.
- extremely pet friendly, our dog was welcomed and loved ♥
- kids loved the cooking classes organised here and we got to eat the pasta which they made. I highly recommend this activity for the children 🥰
- places we visited during our stay = Troina, Etnaland, Etna, Etna adventure park, tormina, Catania, Lago pozzillo
It was a lovely stay and I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Amazing week at the Querce di Cota. Splendid views and ambience. A big special thank you to the Lady of the Manor Mrs Concetta who made it a point to absolutely go out of her way to make sure every single one of our needs was attended to. A remote region, yet the farmhouse was beautiful. Service was excellent. And the food delicious.

Siamo arrivati prima del tramonto in ottobre di quest'anno di passaggio senza conoscere il luogo e magicamente ci siamo sentiti subito come a casa.
Si tratta di un antico borgo recuperato da una splendida famiglia.
Si riceve Accoglienza dalla strada che si percorre in auto tra alberi secolari. una volta arrivati al parcheggio gli animali del borgo ti danno il benvenuto e continuando a piedi nel vialetto che conduce al borgo è tutta una scoperta di odori, colori e storia.
Un antico cancello in ferro battuto separa il fuori dal dentro.
Dentro sei ancora nella natura, come in un fortino protetto da mura di pietra, la scoperta continua tra animali di terra cotta di splendida fattura fiori, piante aromatiche vecchi attrezzi della vita contadina .Si entra nella storia del borgo recuperato con garbo dalla Signora Concetta che ci ha deliziato con l'aiuto della sua figlia durante una meravigliosa cena a base di pesce ed una splendida prima colazione.
Indimenticabili gli spaghetti con le telline .
Forte il desiderio di restare.
Acceso il desiderio di tornare !

Un cadre exceptionnel avec une vue sur l'Etna. La structure est très bien entretenue, très propre et le jardin magnifique. Les chambres sont "authentiques" façon grand-mère et c'est ce qui rajouter encore du charme. Très belle salle de restaurant et une piscine agréable.
