Mercato Cecina

We love the weekly market in Cecina. Every Tuesday morning, all year round, it's a wonderful place to buy everything and anything you might need (or even not need). Most of the stall holders are very friendly and helpful. When we haven't found exactly what we want, we have often ordered things to be collected in the next weeks. Happy bargain hunting!

Always fun. Clothes in style, bags and purses, linens, pottery, jewelry, toys and plenty of food stands too. Our favorite is the chicken stand, with porcetta, and fried little side dishes. Great for a quick shopping spree and food to bring home.

Cool Italian market. Good food section nice located down town Cecina. Lots of stores and cafés around to have a small breakfast or a Café before or while shopping. The market is crowdy and they have all kind of stuff. The visitors are from all countries you can think about. 👍🏻

Much larger than expected and with a nice layout: good mix of offerings throughout the whole market.

Leuke, grote markt. Genoeg te zien!

Toller quirliger Wochenmarkt der vieles an Mode für die ganze Familie anbietet aber auch kulinarisch höchst interessant ist. Jeden Dienstag von 08.00 bis 14.00 Uhr. Wer es lebendig mag, sollte ihn besuchen/erleben/genießen.

Ein Marktbesuch in Italien ist immer etwas Besonderes. Jeweils Dienstags in Cecina LI beginnt er in den frühen Morgenstunden. Das Ortszentrum wird für den Durchgangsverkehr gesperrt. Was mich riesig gefreut hat, ist, dass fast alle Marktstände von Italiener/ -innen betreut werden. Es findet sich von a wie Aal bis z wie Zange nahezu alles was man halt so braucht. Das Ambiente ist einmalig. Man hat das Gefühl Teil davon zu sein. Einzelne Marktschreier verstärken dies umso mehr. Gemüse, Früchte und Blumen duften um die Wette. Klamotten, Schuhe und Firlefanz aller Façon sind genauso zu bestaunen wie Leder- und Kurzwaren, Reiseandenken und Kinderspielzeug. Töpferwaren buhlen neben Werkzeug um Aufmerksamkeit. Würste, Frischfleisch, Käse, Brot und Fisch runden das Ganze ab. Für mich bei nächster Gelegenheit ganz sicher wieder.

Grosser Markt mit vielen Kleiderständen. Ein paar Früchte- und Gemüseständen. Zum Teil Essensstände, welche Porchetta anbieten. Sieht sehr lecker aus und ist auch sehr lecker.

Riesige Auswahl an Klamotten, Lebensmittel, Haushaltswaren, Schmuck usw. Natürlich für Kinder auch jedemenge Auswahl an Spielzeug, Ketten,Armbänder......In Zeiten von Corona findet man auch MNS 😷😷😷in den verschiedensten Farben.
Platzangst darf man nicht haben 😉😉
Aber fast alle tragen einen MNS 👍👍👍. Der Besuch lohnt sich, man findet bestimmt etwas. 🇮🇹 ☀ 🇮🇹
