Great place to grab a small bit to eat and a tasty treat to go with some rich Italian coffee. The small sandwiches were delicious and filling. The desserts were amazing, the hardest part was picking one from a huge variety. The coffee was so rich and a big pick me up, after walking around some of this picturesque and historic town.
The staff were very nice and even with knowing only a little Italian were easily able to serve us.

I can recommend it if you want to relax in a spacious restaurant.
We used this place when we got to Matera station and had some time to kill before checking in to our hotel.
All the waitresses, whose faces look scary, were nice.

THE best chocolate gelato: rich, dark and utterly delicious. Very friendly staff too!

Cornetti eccezionali, una pasta sfoglia fragrante che si scioglie in bocca. Da provare anche quelli salati, farciti con salumi. Consiglio anche la spremuta d'arancia, fresca e gustosa. Da fan del caffè americano, devo dire che è stato preparato ad arte! Questa in cui sono stato non è la sede storica di Matera, ma una sua succursale a pochi passi dal centro storico. L'ambiente è elegante, senza eccedere nella fromalità, arioso e piacevole. Staff competente, prezzi nella media. Tornerò sicuramente!

Girando per Matera è il luogo perfetto dove fermarsi e gustare ottimi prodotti.
