Indian Curry Restaurant Catania

Really enjoyed my meal here. Was in need of something un-Italian, and this hit the spot. The Lamb Vindaloo was the standout despite not being very spicy. I should have made a point of saying I like hot food, as others have mentioned in their reviews. I'd still recommend eating here though.

Absolutely delicious food. You can sit inside or outside in the lovely square. The food had an authentic taste - not the stuff you get in your bog standard restaurant in the UK. I really recommend this place.

Lovely waiter, food presentation and portions. Large portions and everything was delicious. The mango lassi was incredible!

Great food, great service

The food was delicious. We ordered chicken briyani, lamb curry and indian fried rice (take away). The restaurant has a large space and the staff speak english.
In Catania, to find halal food was a challange, but then we found this restaurant. During our 3 nights stay, we visited twice!

I had best indian tea ( chai masala)😘

So good we had to eat here two days in a row! The garlic naan is a must!!! Cardamom tea is amazing. Best Indian food in Catania! Vegetarian options. Curry is delicious.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a good Indian/Pakistani restaurant in Catania. My wife and I have eaten here twice now, and both times we were pleased with our meals.

Something that I noticed in a few other reviews. Unless you very clearly tell the waiter that you enjoy spicy food, you will get the European version of Indian food, which is much milder than you would normally get in either the US or England. Like most restaurants, they cook to the taste of their customers.

My telling the waiter that I routinely cook with ghost peppers got me a meal that would set most people's eyebrows on fire. (I loved it!)

But even my wife's meal (she does NOT enjoy very spicy food) was flavorful and well prepared.

The service was excellent, the building and fixtures were a bit run down, but they were clean and functional. My wife and I look forward to our next visit.

The restaurant is very clean and nice environment. The food is very tasty and authentic. The service is also very good and fast! We tried the garlic naan bread, butter chicken (highly recomended), vegetable rice and chicken samosa. Everything was a delight and they also gave us some sauces. Owner is very friendly and nice.

Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend and I shared the set course with chicken curry meal for 19€ and it was so much food for both of us. Such a relief after weeks of pasta and pizza haha. Also the staff was so friendly and fast and open at 3pm (the other huge relief)! Thank you!
