It take 4 euros and 30 mins to reach there with train.

I love this place, it's my second hometown, away from my home Country Philippines.

The beach is small and was quite busy, but it was still quiet and the sea is excellent for swimming.

Emerald water, one of the most stunning bay of the Tuscan coast. Suggested if you are sea lover. Very close from Leghorn.

It's a beautiful beach. I came yesterday (on Primavera/Spring) the weather was perfect but the water was still chilly😂🤣. But the beach was very clean, many tourists but not as many during the summer. The water was clear, the changing room also clean. There were some surfers but the waves wasn't too high. Near the beach there are some bars for coffee, & gelateria, and pizzeria.

If you are visiting Toscana by car it is difficult to refresh in the sea unless you are prepared to pay entrance for a privatised beach and an access to the sea. Quite near and just south of Livorno is situated this pretty bay and fee free and public beach on the rocks/sand. If you are with children it is friendly enough to access it have a nice refreshing swim, have your legs cleaned by biting fish eating your dead skin and hours of fun for your children discovering sea life around and in the rocks. Parking is hard to find on the weekends, but possible. Coop market is near enough to buy drinks and snacks. If you prefer sandy beaches just drive more south for half and hour following the costal road.
