Fantastic place, lovely people and excellent food! 200% worth the visit… even in wintertime…

We had a fantastic evening at Trattoria Manero. The chef came to us personally to explain what was available and spoke a little English which we appreciated very much. The steak was beautiful and very well prepared. Service was attentive and kind. We would thoroughly recommend Trattoria Manero to everyone.

Great food. Warm and friendly service. Definitely where the locals eat. The waiter didn’t speak much English and we were having trouble reading the menu, so he offered to bring us a variety of dishes. We enjoyed them all so much. The ravioli was the best I think I’ve ever had! It was the authentic Italian food we had been looking for. I wish we had gone sooner.

The owners are very nice, open and generous people. We had lunch and we were very happy that we found this place on our walk. We loved how the owners gave us some options on what we would like for lunch and then just prepared very tasty and beautiful dishes. You can taste love and dedication in the way they prepare the dishes.
We highly recommend this restaurant for the food, the service and the cleanliness and also the prices are very pleasant for all that we got this afternoon.

Excellent authentic Italian cuisine. The waiter was patient and helpful with our lack of Italian and recommended dishes that were delicious. Wonderful views over the valley, one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The best food in this area I got here. Here works a great chef who conjures up the best dishes from simple ingredients. Actually, I would have to give at least 6 stars. Since this is not possible, unfortunately, I give it 5 stars. The Trattoria is definitely worth a recommendation. Who is in the area, should go in any case even eat here.

We went there because an Italian friend had recommended their beef - and it turned out to sensationally good (we had the tagliata). And all at a very favorable price and with excellent service. It's worth going up to Vellano and visit Manero's place. In addition a stunning view over the valley and the mountain hills.

Just come here, awesome food, very friendly staff. I have been here with 4 kids and 3 adults. All the dishes were delicious!

We have had many great meals at Manero but last night they really excelled themselves. We were a party of seven including three non-meat eaters who had just arrived on a delayed flight into Pisa and they were ravenous. Fabrizzio offered a fish menu that was truly exceptional. From the simple antipasto of anchovies and cream on crostini, thru the Primi of bowls of Vongole and penne in a simple sauce and then the Secondo of Turbot, followed by homemade Panna Cotta to finish. It was a most relaxing and enjoyable evening. Thank you Fabrizzio and Massimo from all of us.
