Agriturismo Tananei - Olive Oil tour & Farm to table dinners

We sent David a message on whatsapp, he invited us for the olive oil experience and diner next day. It was truly a wonderful experience: beautiful atmosphere, educational tour, really tasty food and David and his wife were superb hosts. We highly reccommend visiting this place, and we will come back as soon as possible. Myriam, Robert, Sophieke and Jan.

On the 23th of July we took part in the 'Tananei extra virgin olive oil experience'. It really was a great experience! Davids presentation and our visit to the olive grove were interesting and inspiring, the tasting of his delicious extra virgin olive oil a real eyeopener. And fun to do! The experience was very well organized and we had a superb dinner at the end, cooked by Davids wife Giorgia. Thanks David and Giorgia, it was really great!

What a magical experience! David and Georgina are the most kind and gracious host you could ask for. We only came for an olive oil tour and dinner, but it was one of the best days we have had. We brought our 10-year-old son, and he enjoyed the experience as much as the adults. I highly recommend staying and eating here.

This was truly one of the best experiences of my life! David and Giorgia are so intentional with every detail. Our room was so cozy and clean, the food was some of the best I have ever had, the farm was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been. Each morning started out with a delicious and filling breakfast. You are able to choose one of 3 styles-with homemade cakes that are so delicious! They also provide two incredible experiences for an additional AFFORDABLE cost: a farm to table dinner and an EVO oil experience, both worth every single penny and more! The value and meaningfulness of both far exceeded our expectations! I would most definitely encourage anyone and everyone to go out of their way to visit this place and stay for a few days. You will go away so refreshed, leaving a piece of your heart behind.

A very cozy B&B in the middle of pure nature. The breakfast is served with delicious home made jam. Our dinner on Saturday evening was a really wonderful experience. It was served with local wine, organic cheese and several home made dishes. The hosts David and his wife Giorgia are very very friendly and they are true experts of olive oil. I would give 10 stars if possible:) P.S the olive oil they produce is one of the best I’ve tasted. Thank you David and Giorgia!

The Farm to Table experience was amazing!! We learned a lot about the production of high quality olive oil and had a wonderful dinner with a perfect view into the olive groves! The food was delicious. David and Giorgia served typical food from the Tuscany and the dinner was accompanied by some red wine from the region.
We highly recommend this experience to everyone who visits Tuscany and especially to everyone who loves good food, olive oil, wine, warm-hearted people/hosts and an amazing view!! Tananei is a very special place, where you feel like home from the first minute! David and Giorgia are amazing hosts!

On Airbnb we've booked a dinner at David and Giorgia's farmhouse and it was great. The hosts were very kind people and made us feel very welcome. Upon arrival, David showed us around and explained us the process of making olive oil and what makes a high quality olive oil. Then David and Giorgia served us some really lovely homemade food and David told us about his great story from a corporate job to having their own olive grove. I highly recommend to book a dinner there and visit David and Giorgia's farmhouse!

Visited David and Georgina’s on an Airbnb tour to learn about olive oil and was entranced by their love of their craft. The olive oil is the best, their care of their clients even better and to top it all off absolutely delicious food.

We did the Farm to Table experience last September and it was amazing! You go on a guided tour through the olive garden during which David tells you everything you need to know about the harvest of olives and the making of their Extra Virgin olive oil. Afterwards, you enjoy a delicious, artisanal local tuscan diner (made by Georgia) with a wonderful view on their olive grove. In short, a lovely evening that you will not regret. Absolutely an excellent experience! We will certainly come back!

This outing was a wonderful experience and memorable. Our hosts were delightful and the tour of the olive grove most interesting as was the process in creating their olive oil. The supper was also a treat as the cheeses and meats were local as was the wine. David took credit for the delicious bread and even better dessert. My dinner companions were actually staying at this bnb and this was their second visit. That speaks for itself. I can only highly recommend this evening out as it was delightful.

Where do I start...
First of all the venue is a lovely piece of nature with romantic olive groves and a cozy ancient farmhouse that Giorgia and David, the hospitable hosts restored with a lot of heart's blood.This setting will make you forget all your worries in no time and make you relax instantly.
The experience itself is mainly conducted by David who is not only growing the olives with his wife Girorgia, but also is a olive oil sommelier! He will lead you around the widespread olive groves in the untouched nature of the northern Tuscany and show you the varieties of olive trees, tell you how the tress have to be taken care of and how the harvest works. You will also taste the oil and learn what distinguishes good olive oil from the less valuable one you'll mostly find in you grocery. And of course the most pleasent part is the great dinner you will be served. Giorgia and David will show you how to innovatively combine olive oil with different ingredients (some of which you wouldn't expect to suit olive oil - but they do!) The dishes are so delicious that you won't want to stop eating. :)

If you are nearby you schould definitely attend this experience and get to know to the world of extra virgin olive oil combined with delicious local food and Tuscan hospitality!

The place must to visit to feel the real Tuscany. David & Georgia are the best hosts we ever met. We stayed for 3 nights and dream to stay more. Highly recommended the original Olive Oil Experience by David (he is a sommelier of olive oil). Tananei is always in our hearts now!

One of the best B&B and more experiences ever. Also our dogs most enjoyed our stay. David and Giorgia are very welcoming and attentive hosts! Homemade dinner from artisanal local products is the must.

Lovely place to stay while visiting Tuscany. The property is really cute and the service is very friendly. Their olive oil is great, don't forget to buy one bottle before leaving.

The best dinner experience you could have in Tuscany! The house is really lovely, the hosts are so so nice and the products they use are all from their own garden and from people around them. Don't miss out on this!!
