My wife had an exquisite week-long stay at Hotel Sonne in Livigno during March 2024, primarily to enjoy the skiing season. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive, marked by several standout features that made our stay truly memorable.

Highlights:

Wellness Area: The wellness facilities were amazing, offering a perfect relaxation experience after a day on the slopes.

Breakfast: The breakfast was fantastic, featuring an array of fresh fruits and juices that kickstarted our mornings on a high note.

Afternoon Teatime: Essentially an early dinner, the afternoon teatime was a delightful surprise, both in terms of variety and quality.

Location: Situated in the heart of Livigno, the hotel offers the best of both worlds—a vibrant location that is surprisingly quiet, providing a peaceful retreat.

Staff: The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Rooms: We were impressed by the great rooms, especially noting the cleanliness, the new and spacious bathroom, and the comfortable beds.

Extra Wishes: Any additional requests we had were never a problem, showcasing the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction.

Room for Improvement:

The only minor issue we encountered was the noise from other rooms' doors closing, which was quite loud and occasionally disruptive.

Conclusion:
Our stay at Hotel Sonne was nothing short of wonderful. From the serene and convenient location to the impeccable service and facilities, everything about the hotel contributed to a memorable vacation. The attention to detail, particularly with the dietary accommodations and the readiness to fulfill extra wishes, was impressive. We are eagerly looking forward to our next stay at Hotel Sonne when we return to Livigno. Hotel Sonne is simply great.
It is centrally located (7 mins walk to the gondola in the center of the town) but not at the pedestrian area. Thanks to what is peaceful and quiet.
Hotel's staff is extremely nice, helpful and make you feel welcomed and taken care off.
Our superior double room was very comfortable and cozy.
For breakfast there were various options and multiple high quality products (the best I have ever had at any hotel).
Finally, the SPA was very pleasant especially when you book an exclusive entry.

Hotel Sonne is a true gem. It is beautifully designed and located at the bottom of the mountains. It was created from the love for beauty, harmony in life, and the customer’s care.
The breakfast at Sonne exceeds the best European standards.
Most importantly, the owners and the entire team are incredible people. We are returning there every year since the opening.

This was our first stay at the Hotel Sonne and we loved everything about it. Great interior design, chic and cozy decor in the rooms and all the public areas, wide selection at breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the aperitif in the late afternoon when the hotel offers a buffet of delicious snacks. The location is very convenient to the slopes and there is even a wellness area that you can reserve for private use. They have thought of everything to make your stay relaxing and easy. Patrizia and the whole team were gracious, helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back.

Everything that you would expect to make a stay memorable is the experiance at Hotel Sonne. The staff are friendly and very quickly respond to fulfill your preferences with regards food, drink, room layout, restaurant recommendations etc etc. This was our sixth trip to Sonne and just love the atmosphere, the soothing spa after a full day skiing, the delicious high teas and late night drinks at the fire. See you again next year!

We did the online check-in before and when we got there it was really fast to get in the room. The staff and the owner is very nice and helpful. The bed rails for kids is available as well. The hotel located in the center of the town, so it is suitable to stay there and take a walk around town and do some shopping.

Patrizia Urbani and every single member of her team made our stay at the most beautiful Hotel Sonne a magical, unforgettable one indeed! Everyone is ever so attentionate, friendly and caring! The room we had was fully equipped, modern, tasteful furniture, cosy and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast and the five o'clock buffet were exquisite with numerous home-made culinary highlights!
We strongly recommend this jewel of a hotel to everyone who is looking for a centrally located hotel and an unforgettable, unique, most relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Livigno!

It's not the first time I've stayed at Hotel Sonne however it was during this stay that I realised the owner and staff are amazing people with big hearts and a massive, genuine passion for pleasing others. I was staying alone but didn't feel alone; the cleaners, chef, waitress, reception staff and owner were there for me 24/7. Nothing is too much for them. They always give a kind and helpful response and will always ensure they do everything possible the make your stay as easy and as enjoyable as possible. In my case, they assisted my preparation for a Mount Everest Summit Attempt. Blessed.

Simply sensational Hotel with the most amazing staff. Rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities and the hotel is ideally positioned very close to the slopes.

Breakfast and afternoon snacks are of the highest quality!

Amazing place, incredible location with clean modern rooms directly on the slopes, highly recommended. We stayed there for a week and were really well looked after by Patrizia and her staff. Their customer service was better than most five star hotels. My parents were worried about eating out in busy restaurants and Patrizia the owner brought in a chef to cook dinners in the hotel all week. Livigno is magnificent so much to do from ski touring to snow mobiles and cross country walks. We will be back in the summer.

Super highly recommended! Patricia and her team are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Treat yourself to an absolutely fabulous breakfast - seriously I dare you to find a better one! Comfy mattresses, crispy bedsheets, and a marvelous spa area. Cherry on the top - they’re super eco friendly and have locally sourced toiletries with a refreshing alpine herbs fragrance. Just book it already!

Amazing hotel. Very cozy and amazing interior. Fireplace in a lobby ads a vibe. Warm, dry, comfortable rooms. Amazing spa.
Located next to shops, ski school, slopes. Mountain view. Very romantic, but even with kids we enjoyed it.

This boutique hotel is just perfect, the stuff treat you in personal care, located at the city center, few steps from the gondola. The hotel is cozy and well decorated, the SPA is very nice. A very tasty breakfast as well. Highly recommended!

Hotel Sonne in Livigno was exactly what we were hoping for, situated in the city center with gorgeous views to Mottolino, Livigno center and also other side of the mountain. We spent five days being pampered with great breakfast full of fresh fruit and fantastic afternoon tea time with healthy snacks and 0 km products. Every detail in the rooms is thought of to ensure maximum effortless mountain comfort. Everyone in the hotel was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Thank-you!

Excellent service and exceptional comfort. Breakfast is delicious. The rooms are very well designed. They are spacious and clean with everything you need for a pleasant stay. SPA is cosy and quiet, with very good facilities. The premises are very well maintained. They have a great team who will take care of you like in few other places. You will never feel an inch below luxurious during your entire stay. 5***, easy.

Excellent hotel - highly recommended. Patrizia and her team were so helpful right from the start when we had to postpone our trip due to covid and then having a baby. Finally we made to the hotel in 2022 and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere in the hotel is beautiful - warm, cosy, modern, luxury - the perfect boutique hotel. As well as breakfast, the hotel offers a lovely "tea" which is from 5 - 6:30pm and is perfect for a post ski snack or even a light dinner. The staff speak excellent English and are alway very happy to help - they even sent my clothes for laundry that had a large oil stain on! The rooms are cosy and well equipped, very comfy beds and nice bed linen. All in all, we couldn't fault this hotel. It's also just a 2 min walk to the main gondola so perfect location too! ++++++

We visited this hotel twice. Excellent! Warm and family atmosphere, good location, comfortable rooms and SPA. Breakfast is rich and very healthy! Patricia (owner) and her team are very friendly. We definitely want to come back again even may be in summer
