Tenuta Sant'Ilario

A wonderful place to stay! We've been there 3 years ago and I still think of the herbal smell, the great, big room and the great breakfast. It is a place to regather strength and get some rest from the world. The restaurant is expensive, but worth it.

We stayed at the Montagnola villa for four nights with three adults and our little dog. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We arrived at the location a bit sooner than expected, but they were very flexible and made sure the room was available as soon as possible. Make sure to follow the instructions they send you when arriving by car. As soon as you get off the main road, the road to the property gets a bit bumpy, but it is feasible if you drive slowly.

The villa itself, with its living room, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, was really comfortable and clean. The washing machine and other appliances are somewhat outdated, but okay. We had our private little garden and swimming pool, so the villa is certainly recommended when you would like to just relax and have some privacy.

We had an amazing stay. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, walking across it and the pool area seemed like something out of a movie.
The staff is very supportive and friendly. The breakfast was amazing! I don't think I ever had a better one, with hams, salames, cheese, a lot of sweets, croissants, and a very gracious lady who prepares your coffee in the morning.
The restaurant is very very good, with nice and friendly staff, English speaking, delicious meals, good wine for a fair price (they have they own Chianti which is amazing).
Amazing! Can't say it enough, will totally get back in the future!
Just make sure you follow staff's instructions on how to get to the hotel. Google Maps will send you through a terrible road. There's a way better road just a little further away!

Super lovely and secluded place. No traces of poor taste. Authentic old style look and feel, yet functional and comfortable. Very very nice and friendly staff. Location is also pretty great. I did get a bit intimidated by a rather long single lane road off the main road that leads to the property, just be careful and drive slow and it should be fine.

We stayed for a week and loved it, all the staff is really nice and friendly, Viola in the breakfast team was just superb! She gave us even recipes to make cakes! Will definitely come back

Great ambiance in the heart of Tuscany. Rooms are spacious yet not modern.

Enjoy the views of the great landscape during your breakfast and explore the surrounding wineries and cities.

They have their own good restaurant, not a winery which would’ve made this even more enjoyable.

Be sure to bring a SUV or 4x4, the road towards the place is not well paved.

Good restaurant in a great environment.
The place is in the middle of the nature and you can look at the sunset while walking the 300 meters between the hotel and the Restaurant. There is even a bank for the contemplatif people.
The restaurant is a relatively small place and links the hotel, it is made of an old and charming architecture and decoration with on top modern facilities. The food is excellent ( a bit too salty at my test ) and the service is excellent and simple.
The hotel room are good with space and original.
I will come back.

What a lovely place!
If you want to experience movie like Tuscany- that’s the place.
Nice and quiet. Perfect to have some rest, enjoy quietness and slow life.

What I love about this place is the slow life you can experience. They got just few rooms and villas so it is not overcrowded overcrowded. Totally recommended for couples or families with elder children. It would be totally ruined if screaming children would be running all over the place.

Rooms are Cosy and comfortable. However you can feel weird smell all over them (like the detergent or something). Baths has not too many scheltest, especially on the shower. I had to put my cosmetics on the shower flor.

You rest near the nice pool, surrounded with olives trees and a perfect olives garden view.

At the eve ring you can enjoy romantic sunset over the mountains.

Breakfast are superb!

Beautiful Hotel/Agriturismo! We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is elegant, rustical and cozy all at once. The breakfast is great and the pool and outside areas so quiet and relaxing. We came here to have peace for a few days and totally found what we needed.

One of our favorite places to stay on our three week tour. Near Florence Lucca and Pisa - could place for a base camp to see all of Tuscany. Very friendly and helpful staff. They make their own olive oil, and vineyard surrounding provides for a local wine. We stayed in one of the villas and it was clean, secure, A/C, laundry, full kitchen easy to get to. Will return.

Great location, comfortable apartments, clean pool and one of the best restaurants in neighborhood. Very kind and English speaking staff at the reception. Access a bit difficult, over 1 km on gravel road, but it also means less crowd. Highly recommended for quiet agrotourismo experience.

We had a replenishing stay in this Tenuta. We loved the quiet, the beauty, the comforts, the restaurant food. Everything met our expectations fully.

We have been here in a wedding and stayed for two nights. The place is magical. Everything you can imagine about how Toscana looks like and beyond.
