Hotel Miravalle

Really nice Hotel. Good service and everything you need from a Ski Hotel. From Roby on the bus and Manuel on the Bar all do the part to make things work. Easy transfers with Crystal to and from resort...everything ready and pretty slick. The key question is would I go back to this hotel, team and location and this is a 100% Yes. Looking forward to next year.

By all accounts this hotel has changed due to it's face-lift...but the genuine desire to please by the staff is still there in buckets from the sort- of- grumpy ( on the surface) mini bus driver( who was fantastic at transporting us to sportina lift at odd times but could have done with a " miravalle queue here" sign at busy times) to the head of restaurant and everyone in between. Greatly appreciated was their efforts to cope with veggie/ pescitarian diets ( we are mainly veggie...and eat a lot of fish!). No free wine/ water as advertised by Crystal and no jacuzzi...but it's definitely working towards 4 stars and not 3

We really loved our stay at Miravalle. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the quilt was cosy. The pillows are a little flat. The staff are super friendly.

You are really well looked after with full board. Breakfast was one of our favourite meals, with a full english, continental and lots of fresh croissants and pancakes. Lunch was fantastic as you have a choice of two restaurants on the slopes either Capanna Kind or Mollino. We preferred Millino as you have a choice of pannini and pastry. Then afternoon tea with a fresh cake everyday and something savoury. Dinner was good too, especially the Antipasti. The starter and main course is a choice each day. It's good but maybe trying to be a little more than it should be. Also a shame we never had pizza. They seat you for dinner and this is your table for the week. Fortunately our table was great with similar aged people.

The walk up to the lift is a fair way, 9mins, however it's very steep. However there are some incredible ski lockers at the bottom of Clotes ski lift. €44 for two people for the week. Totally worth it. You buy a key card at the ABC group Ski Pass in the square.

All in all, a lovely hotel with a fantastic offering. We would love to return to this hotel if we visit Sauze again

Every single staff member did everything they could to make the stay comfortable and special. It's incredible how much friendly and engaging staff can have a positive impact on your stay. The manager was very helpful and took the time to speak to everybody. The lady who cleaned our rooms and also served at dinner always had a big smile on her face and was friendly. The receptionist would wish us a good day whenever she would see us.

The food was excellent and a huge standout point. The buffet starter had a great selection, was changed every day and had something for everyone. You could quite easily fill up on starters if you didn't know there was more to come. The 2 dishes to follow were always superb. Normally the first would be a delcious pasta, cooked al dente with tons of flavour. The second was a meat although there was always a veggie option. There was great variety throughout the week we had chicken, turkey, beef, pork, veal and lamb. You wouldn't be dissapointed being served what we ate at a good restaurant. The wine was also flowing and replenished quickly without asking.

Lastly the lunch food vouchers could be used on the mountain and the 2 places you could redeem at served very good food and a healthy portion size so you wouldn't need any more.

Overall I'd rate the hotel a comfortable 10/10. Its was exceptional value for money and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Sauze.

Great hotel with fantastic food and access to the slopes!

Excellent hotel, have stayed here two years running. Staff are polite and very helpful. The food and all-inclusive bar (!) should satisfy just about everyone, they also cater for my friend who must have a gluten free diet. The rooms are decent for twos and threes, and there's even a sauna and a jacuzzi which is ideal after smashing the slopes all day.

The location of the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Clotes chair lift (although there's a local bus stop next to the hotel if you prefer to take this to the lifts).

As a side note, the town of Sauze D'Oulx is gorgeous, there's a great selection of runs and is suitable for snowboarding as well as skiing.

Really friendly helpful staff. Good food and plenty of it A 10 minute walk up hill to the ski lift (rather quicker back down!) or a relatively infrequent ski bus ride (every 30 minutes). We'd certainly come again.

The staff at this hotel are fantastic. They really looked after and engaged with our family during our stay, making it truly memorable. Whilst it is not the most modern of places, we had a 5 star stay for a 3 star price! Many thanks, Mike, Victoria and Elizabeth

Great hotel and really friendly staff. Rooms clean and functional and the inclusive bar was great. Easy access to rest of resort and slopes.
