Dining at Trattoria da Marino was a truly wonderful experience. This charming Toscana restaurant has rightfully earned its many Michelin stars, and our visit made it clear why.

We started with the appetizer dish, a delightful array of regional specialties served in small portions. It was the perfect way to sample a variety of flavors and textures, each bite bursting with authenticity and taste.

The pasta dishes, lovingly crafted by the owner's wife, were some of the most delicious I've ever had. The gnocchi, in particular, melted in my mouth like soft pillows, leaving a lasting impression of culinary perfection.

Finishing our meal with dessert sampling that was nothing short of phenomenal. Along with this, we enjoyed a glass of house-made wine that perfectly complemented the sweet treats.

Trattoria da Marino offers more than just a meal; it provides an authentic, heartfelt taste of Tuscany. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience.

Antipasti of a selection of 5 antipasti was very good, particularly the fried artichoke dish and the fried eggplant flower fish
I had a simple, thick pasta dish with meat sauce which was good, but nothing extraordinary.
My wife's seafood pasta dish was better, seafood tasting very fresh.
Excellent desserts, and the selection of 5 offered a nice mix of small creams and cake desserts.

Spectacular dining experience! We stopped in this Trattoria looking for something special and I must confess we found much more. The location is historic, so don't expect LED lights and the like ... Discreet and sober Mise en place; The service was great! They advised us really well making us savor tasty dishes that satisfied us. After lunch we were offered a taste of a sweet white wine with fine pastry that took us by the throat ... so much so that we bought two bottles of this nectar and took some symbols of Tuscan pastry: cantucci biscuits. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you all. I have marked it on my maps and I hope to be able to return soon to try something else delicious.

WoW, this was a very pleasant surprise and experience in Tuscany (this restaurant was recommended to us by our host from Rivo della Corte). Great food, super service with some incredible hospitality you rarely see. The location and ambient are not special but that does not really matter as you will have some of the best food in Tuscany with a great host, actually an entire family who is managing this trattoria. This is real Tuscany food experience! We travel a lot and food quality and experience is our top priority when visiting places and this one is to remember. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful dinner last night with exceptional service. We are vegetarian and had called in advance to see if we could be accommodated. They prepared a vegetarian tasting menu with a variety of antipasti, followed by pasta, followed by dessert. The porcini mushroom and tomato selections were particularly good, as was the homemade pasta and gnocchi. The wine suggestions were excellent. For the quality of the food and service, we were pleasantly surprised that the price was reasonable.

This is an absolute gem! Was one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. I didn’t expect this from a little restaurant in the middle of nowhere but really it’s the place you have to visit once you’re in the area. The owner was friendly and generous, he was walking from one table to another chatting with guests (but don’t worry, it was not annoying), pouring you some more wine and presenting compliments that made our dining experience marvelous. Food was so tasty that I wished I had a bigger stomach 😃 Prices are on the average level but for this astonishing quality of food and service it even seems too cheap

This restaurant is so delicious and very authentic! The whole menu is in Italian, but our host was gracious and translated everything for us. He also recommended the desert plate, which is an absolute must do. The restaurant was busy, but he took the time to walk us through everything and even offered extra desserts and a complimentary taste of the house wine he makes from scratch. All incredible!!

Absolute gem of a place. A local, family-run, little frills but highest quality trattoria. The service, excellent wine and pasta dishes stand out. We were the only tourists when we came for lunch and were seated in the generous dining room to charming service by the owner. We ended up buying a bottle of their own brand dessert wine to take home because it was so good. Quality is clearly high, so I wouldn’t say the place is a bargain (nor should it be).

Fantastic dining experience! The staff was very nice and had great recommendations for food. I enjoyed the homemade pici pasta with meat sauce paired with a Chianti and the foie gras on the mixed antipasti plate was delicious. The homemade desserts were also fantastic.

My husband and I ate here a few days ago. We wanted to try it because of the reviews and the fact that it was a fanily run business. Eduardo the owner personally greeted us and suggested a menu as we requested. Everything was so delicious and well put together. I am vegetarian and he understood amd catered to my diet.
His wife is the head chef (how cool). We loved the food so much, she personally came out to say thank you.
We would highly recommend this restaurant!
