We had an amazing lunch at this lovely restaurant, one of the highlights of our stay in Calabria. Equisite tastes beautifully presented paired with professional service. If we lived closer, would surely be regulars.

This restaurant in Pizzo is a must. We were here on New Years Eve… the food was exquisite. Fresh, creative and full of flavor. They made accommodations for my dietary restrictions easily. The chef owner is so friendly, accommodating and really has it going on. Wonderful food, great service and relaxed atmosphere.

Truly amazing restaurant. I have eaten in a lot of restaurants in the south of Italy and never have I found such a perfect combination of original and traditional with such nuanced flavours. They take the classic dishes but make them unique - carefully balancing delicate flavours like sweet/spicy, meat/fish, sweet/salty. A fantastic culinary experience, taking the original Calabria but giving it a unique twist. Every ingredient is carefully chosen and prepared, going down to the bread and homemade focaccia on the table.
Aside from the food, the family who run the place are just lovely. You can trust them to give you honest advice on what to eat and drink, and even just to have a chat and spend time with the local people. The waiter Jacobo really knew his wine explained well the local wines and their pairing.

The best restaurant I have eaten at on ‘la Costa degli dei’, where you often find dishes with the same price but with completely different quality products and industrialised / commercialised for the growing tourist market. We loved it so much we went back again two days later to try more dishes, and would have been back again and again if I had more time!

That's perfect place for tasty, local dinner. Tastes of Calabria- seafood, fish, wine, dessert (Tartuffo Pizzo), homemade liquor. Everything perfect in calm, family atmosphere. Elegant restaurant ideal for food tour as equal as romantic date or going with friends.

First visit to new location on the main road in Pizzo beautiful place and food as great as ever. Great outside dining area and gorgeous interior. Special occasion or bite to eat.

Wow! We really enjoyed our food! The service was friendly and very welcoming.
The pasta was incredible according to my son. I had a plate with grilled seafood on a salad. The best cooked squid I’ve had and super soft and tasty.
And then the desert! My son had tartufo ice cream. My husband and I shared the panna cota and the parfait! All was excellent, but the parfait was incredible!!! Almond parfait with pistachio cream. One of the best deserts I’ve ever eaten.
PS: I am gluten free and this was not a problem, except for pasta and pizza I could eat almost everything and the food was very tasty and prepared with care!
If we ever return to Pizzo we will definitely return to Hedò!l

What a great meal at Hedò Ristorante! The food was delicious and the owner so welcoming. Every kind of sea food was so fresh and so well cooked, the nero pasta were the best we'd ever had... Top restaurant!

Arrived for a leisurely lunch with friends. Amazing experience. We shared a delicious speciality bread, which accompanied are first couses. Though I was full, I could not resist one of the aromatic pasta dishes.
An amazing, extensive menu; which I can not wait to go back and try more of.

Amazing dishes! No fried fish and no mussels or clams by design. The ingredient combinations is brave and delicious. The staff is kind and experienced!
Prices are great for the quality!

This is our 2nd visit for this new restaurant in town, the husband and wife team have an eye for detail, the presentation of the table, food, staff & of course the food is top draw. Don’t visit Pizzo without eating here!

Excellent family dinnig experience , authentic local Calabrian cuisine. Small family own restaurant. Owners wife makes bread daily. Staff speaks perfect English. Fantastic selection of local wines, paired perfectly with flavours of the region. Owner’s nice is absolutely charming, they really give you a feeling like you are a special guest. We dine there twice and can’t wait to come back for more. Gracie Mile to the entire team:))))

I can’t say it was something extraordinary here, but the service was absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly waiter + nice terrace and a bit hidden location.

It was out first night into Pizzo from Sicily and we were hungry.
This restaurant didn't disappoint at all.
Service was exceptional, the food was exceptional and the price was exceptional considering the quality of every aspect.
My wife ate the grilled octopus, my son ate pasta cacio e pepe Calabrese with cuttlefish and I had locally sourced steak.
All the meals were exceptional and the bread baskets were never empty.

This is not your ordinary place. The food here is of an extremely high quality and is clearly created by a very talented chef. It’s on the pricey side but it’s definitely worth it. The staff were kind and professional. We will definitely return
