Very good restaurant right next to the Garibaldi gate in Marsala! The food was great. We had the fish caponata, fried squid and shrimps, fish cous cous, salmon tartar and more (pictures attached) and everything was incredibly fresh. Only downside is you might need some patience since the place is often packed and it might take longer than expected to get a table (call to reserve one). The waiter is very nice though and if you're chilled he might offer you a glass of wine while you wait.

Excellent service from Marco and delicious food. Dish recommendations exceeded expectations. Stays open later during mid day for late diners. Will dine here again.

Great seafood, and they have seasonal Sicilian dishes with red tuna (tonno roso) one of my favorite places in Marsala

One of the better Cuscusu in Marsala, a small but well appointed menu with an interesting wine list including one of our favourite producers #TenuteScuotto. The portions are abondant and very flavoursome and the desserts are epic.

Very good seafood restaurant, high quality, very friendly service. While the entire menu is in Italian, a couple of waiters speak very good English and will take the time to translate the menu for you.

The management and staff were very friendly and welcoming even though it was nearly closing time.
We both ordered a platter of mixed battered prawns, calamari and small white fish.
Seafood was really fresh, cooked to perfection and huge portions. The side dish of potato chips was piping hot and not the usual restaurant chips.
Small selection of dishes on the menu but you will find something.
The wine was perfect for my taste (not too dry)
La Marinara is literally at the Porto Garibaldi gate so you might miss it behind the screen around the outdoor seating area.
We really enjoyed our lunch.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

We were the only people eating here at 7pm on Sunday evening in May but then we English like to eat early. We both had the Gold line fish dish and I have to say it was delicious. We had it with a side order of grilled veg. Waiter was friendly. Just wish he hadn't come straight back in English when I'm trying with my Italian. Must improve my accent!

Best seafood experience in town. Frittura mista is a must, Octopus is to die for. Salvo, the owner is the friendliest guy ever. Fine selection of local wines too. I’m definitely coming back!

We left quite shocked for the whole experience. We arrived late (almost 11 pm) and they let us sit with a very friendly attitude despite the time. We didn't know anything about the restaurant so we asked for a cheap white wine. The suggestion was an amazing wine made with Grillo grapes from Pellegrino canteen. It was so good that we will try to find the bottle back in Amsterdam. I am originally from Naples, we are famous there for the sea food, beside white wine. I have to say that I haven't eaten fish like that in years. Super fresh, tasty and cooked with such a care and balance of ingredients tipical of Sicily (or raw! Yes we also had raw gamberetti laid on wild rice from Canada as part of the antipasto, which also included tuna salami!). Don't miss La Marinara. Top culinary experience in Sicily.
