This lovely resort run by the wonderful Romano family is beautiful and peaceful. The pool is lovely and breakfast each morning in the garden is wonderful. It is just a short taxi ride away from Tropea and a nice break from when Tropea gets busy.

The hotel is lovely and calm. Nestled in the hills just outside Tropea old town (not even 10 minutes to town on foot), this is an oasis. The team are so lovely. We were served by Federica, who greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly buongiorno 👋 We will be back for sure.

This was truly one of the best hotels of my stay in Italy. Francesco and all of the staff are so lovely and welcoming and accommodating. They let me stay by the pool after checking out and had the most delicious breakfast everyday. What a gem when I was feeling a bit sick and needed a break away from travelling. The rooms are beautiful and well kept

Manuel was the best host and most welcoming, caring person for not just getting us settled, but recommendations, suggestions, tips and tricks of Tropea and more!

The breakfast is home cooked and there is simply enough to feed an army and the range of food is stunning.

The gardens are breathtaking and the pool is arguably better than the beach, because you get just as much sun, without the sand, the congregation of people or the hassle of travelling away from your room!

I would HIGHLY recommend this without second thought.

Once you enter the gates of the ‘Borghetto’ you enter an oasis of relaxation. The Romano family is incredibly friendly and helpful with great recommendations. The breakfast is OUTSTANDING and the afternoons by the pool are so easy. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this beautiful boutique style hotel for 3 nights.
The infinity pool is one of the prettiest and best maintained pools I have ever seen. The breakfast in incredible and freshly prepared (eggs, cold cuts, cakes, fresh fruits and juices) and even has some variations from day to day.
If you are tall don’t get a room with the round bed as this will be to short for you. The Team changed us into a room with a regular room when we mentioned this.
Also make sure to call before arrival as the gate into the large parking lot needs a code.
Overall a beautiful stay!

We were very happy with the hotel. It was super clean everywhere. The room was beautiful and spacious. We stayed in a room with a sea view and the terrace. The breakfast was tasty, some options of savoury dishes and lots of home made cakes. Also freshly cooked eggs were available if requested. Overall - nice and cosy atmosphere. Would stay in this hotel again.

We absolutely loved our short stay in tropea en route to Sicily, everything about this B&B was perfect. The pool was so peaceful and picturesque with unbelievable views of the sea. Our room was spotless and super modern and the breakfast was fantastic!!! Would highly recommend to anyone, tropea is also a beautiful authentic Italian place. We already want to return! Thank you!

Il Borghetto is such an amazing place with excellent service. The outdoor area is unbelievably beautiful and the breakfast is also a 10 out of 10.

I can not say enough wonderful things about our stay! The hotel grounds and rooms were beautiful and clean. Manuel and Frederica and the whole staff were so accommodating and friendly made us feel at home. The breakfast under the grape vines and paninis and drinks at the pool were exceptional. Another plus is the beach is five minutes away great location from the beach and town. We will definitely be returning!

Come sentirsi a casa dal primo momento. Staff accogliente, struttura eccezionale. Professionalità e cordialità costanti. Ricco e buonissimo buffet per la colazione, piscina stupenda, relax assicurato immersi nel verde. Meraviglioso, sotto ogni punto di vista. Esperienza da rifare!

Il Borghetto, uno splendido hotel immerso in un giardino mediterraneo curato nei minimi dettagli, appena fuori dal centro della stupenda Tropea. Camere spaziose e molto pulite dotate di frigobar ben fornito e cassaforte. Una splendida piscina a sfioro con servizio bar, dove si possono gustare alcuni piatti della tradizione ben preparati, l’insalata tropeana più buona di Tropea la trovate proprio qui!!
Colazione ottima, ricco buffet preparato al momento dalle signore, quindi freschissimo, sia dolce che salato, da consumare all’aperto sotto una pergola di vite meravigliosa.
Alla sera in centro a Tropea si può andare a mangiare nel ristorante Romano, sempre di loro proprietà, anche esso molto curato e con piatti ottimi al giusto prezzo.
Personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Pulizia al primo posto, e questo conta moltissimo.
Senza dubbio un bella esperienza.
Ci ha fatto scoprire una Calabria stupenda, allontanando qualsiasi pregiudizio! Consigliato. Ci ritorneremo.

Stupendo Creative Resort immerso nella natura, ambiente di Charme e tranquillità, vi aspetta una fantastica piscina a sfioro con dell’acqua salata dove ho gustato un meraviglioso Floating Cocktail e goduto di un panorama mozzafiato durante il tramonto. La colazione è stata un’esperienza sensoriale indimenticabile, con prodotti tipici del posto e dai profumi inebrianti.
Proprietà e personale molto cordiali e molto attenti, professionalità e Qualità di livello. Consiglio vivamente

Très bel hôtel situé au calme à l’écart de Tropea (prévoir un véhicule pour se rendre au centre situé à 2,5km). Les chambres sont spacieuses, très lumineuses et très propres. Mention spéciale au petit déjeuner avec des produits qualitatifs et faits maison. Personnel avenant et très souriant. Nous recommandons à 100%!

Mi avevano consigliato questo posto alcuni conoscenti, sono rimasta senza fiato x la bellezza del mare, il resort confortevole, pulitissimo e curato alla perfezione, il cibo squisito, la gentilezza del personale mettono a proprio agio e che dire della simpatia ?
