La Tavernetta dei Briganti "TRATTORIA" Cucina Tipica Siciliana

This gorgeous local eatery in Corleone provided amazing food, good service and a wonderful atmosphere. It was a rustic, well managed tavern where the host was one of the most friendly and likeable fellows. Our pigeon Italian was supplemented by his pigeon English and we got through it. Highly recommend!

For travelers: Wheelchair ADA yes, easy access. From one Sicilian to another.... Very nice service, the pasta dough fresh homemade, well made, pane fresh, love that they have olives on the table for us .... For their red sauce, it is too much over sale/salty. Other pastas missing garlic... Good for those who looks plain flavors. Only avoid the vino. As a buisness owner, i never give less than 5 stars, since the owners were very sweet and excellent fast pasta. Prices are good here. Fair for the quality.

We were in Corleone and were looking for place to eat, this was the only restaurant serving food at a time 3pm on Wednesday, this was a relief otherwise we will be going home hungry. Owner of the restaurant is very welcoming and friendly, food was really good and generous portions. Antipasti hand made and price of food affordable. Would go back again and recommend. Menu photos does not reflect the true food, try it - soo good! Toilet very clean

Let me tell you about this place. We booked a table on a bank holiday, calling them last minute and they had a table for us. We arrived and found a traditional 'trattoria', meat-based menu, not good when on a diet, but still nice. We had an amazing lunch there. The gentleman who served all tables and was the body and soul of the place was incredible. He played with the kids and let them find out themselves if they had ice-tea (and they had), he chatted with us and all the other customers, he was really good. I loved their video slides: on a not too big screen, they played pictures from the past. You could see pictures showing traditional jobs, explaining what life looked life a life-time ago. I learnt a lot while waiting for my food. We had to wait, but I really think that only three people ran the entire place. Imagine a place where plants are dying in their pots, but people are taken care of - a real family restaurant in the heart of Sicily.

What can I say? Coming here is like eating at a friend's house. Here you can get the best Sicilian food for amazing prices. And a solid house wine by the glass. The dining room is filled with photos of old Corleone.

Just amazing! Nothing to see in Corleone sicilia but you need to go just for this restaurant. All antipasti were really homemade. Everything melts in your mouth. Wow !!

This place was here for 60years already. It’s family run restaurant and the owner Salvatore is serving him self, very generous, caring, loving and charming.
The food is tastelishious, and super fresh pasta and salad felt like straight from the garden.
I asked Salvatore how long he wish this place to run and here it is his answer….
“I do it for passion… ..because I'm retired…. I would do it indefinitely😃but you can't”
For me it means a lot when people are driven by passion thats the highest inspiration and sign of quality sparkled with love.
So I hope you will have experience that will stay in your hearts and will remind you the feeling of home far away from home.

My husband and I visited Corleone today.
We walked about trying to find a place for lunch, but EVERYTHING was shut due to a public holiday…. However we stumbled upon this quaint little restaurant and were warmly greeted by the staff. 🥰
Our food was so good and the atmosphere and attentive staff made our visit to Corleone so worthwhile.

A very cozy place with impeccable service and delicious food! We didn’t expect much from the modest, little restaurant, but our group of 14 (4 children) were greeted with warmth and served home made, authentic food. The pasta ragout was heavenly and the salciccia was juicy and full of herbs. The local wine was a typical local wine and the cheese stuffed aubergine was praised by the veggies in the group. You might get tired of the soundtrack of Godfather that plays on repeat, but promise, it’s really worth it!

Really nice spot, firstly didn’t expect too much but interior is very cosy and nice atmosphere + owner is really kind. They offer typical Sicilian traditional food. There are few dishes but in other they are very delicious.
