Sicily Country House & Beach

Wanted to find a place to stay close to the airport, this place matched that criteria and much more. Beautiful views of Etna. Close to the beach and a small forest just outside the gate with pine trees. Many birds to watch. Friendly service. Good restaurant that had gluten free pasta. Very nice to be able to pick fresh fruit directly from the trees.

This place exceeded our expectations.

It’s absolutely amazing! It’s got large garden area with swimming pool and almost private sandy beach. What stole my heart is the greatest, friendliest service I have ever experienced. Everyone welcomes you with a smile and care. For these folks nothing is impossible. All they want is you have the peaceful, careless vacation. We have been there twice with the whole family and plan to come in future. The only tiny thing to improve in my opinion is the coffee and breakfast offering, could be a lot better. Otherwise I love it!

Peacefull, quiet place with very kind and helpfull staff... cosy room with a small fridge, everyday cleaning, door mosquito net...well kept clean surroundings, clean pool, beach chairs with umbrellas, enough shade, refreshing misting system... and the best thing - very close to the beach that was almost free of people.
The breakfast was a bit limited and monotonous, but the lunch/dinner menu changed everyday. Great pizza. One star down for the absence of fresh fish on the menu. Nevertheless, it is a perfect place for a few day relax, can recommend.

Absolutely lovely stay. The accommodation is well situated near the sea, with a wild beach, in a quiet area, full of orange trees.
It has a great pool, serve a good breakfast and can enjoy dinner as well in the restaurant where the food is delicious.
Regarding the rooms, these are very clean and they take care of this every day. Even it's not about luxury rooms, you have all the comfort needed.
On the top of all, the staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and takes care of the guests in an exemplary way from the first moment to the last ones. Congrats for this!

The view is incredible, the access to the beach as well, the orange trees beautiful, all the other reviews are absolutely true! Fabulous breakfast, the pool was nice also, very helping staff, parking inside the property.

Great staff, breakfast were fine, but the restaurant food was really good. Overall quiet place, very close to beach ! You can take beach umbrella from them. We had to leave our room before breakfast, as our plane was early morning, and they packed food and delivered it to our room before we left, amazing service. Would recommend

Croissants are just amazing and delicious, staff super friendly and welcoming, you can eat as many oranges as you want as a bonus, good and safe parking spot, access to the beach directly from the property. Clean towels, 3 per person, comfy bed. Yes, it’s true bathroom could be renovated, but all in all surely great value for the price, and especially if traveling with kids and want to have peace and quiet. Small playground and also pool available. Nice Etna view

Great little hotel with superb views of Mount Etna and next to a sandy beach. The rooms are basic and the walls are thin but also very affordable. You won't miss anything. Breakfast was delicious. They even offer fresh orange juice from their own trees. Excellent customer service, I will come back for sure!

Great team looking after this agriturismo! Very friendly stuff! Great location, great wine (made in house) and great food. Perfect for families with kids!

Amazing place and more then that amazing people. Very chill and quiet vibes, excellent restaurant and breakfast. We were 7 adults and 3 children and it was really nice we all enjoyed very much.

This is not the first time we stayed at this house. It is minutes away, literally, from the airport. It is also very close to the city centre, and popular shopping centres like Porte di Catania and Ikea.

There is private parking on site, within the fenced perimiter. The host and the place itself, is very welcoming. It has a very good breakfast facility and the restaurant is open from 2pm till late, offering delicious food with hand picked local ingredients (some of which they grow on site!).

Rooms are very clean, spacious and with various amenities like fridge, kettle, soaps, AC, hairdryer etc. They have some lovely terraces too with excellent views of Etna. The kids have ample place to run and play, including a play area with sand and various slides etc.

There is quite a spacious pool and pool area, a good walk within the perimiter alongside citrus trees, and a safely locked gate taking you all the way to a sandy beach and the sea! what else could you ask for!

Private beach access.
In May was great for kitesurfing.
Few wild dogs near the beach... not really a problem until we went for a horse ride along the beach.
The staff are excellent (be sure to tip the grounds staff)

Managment and staff very friendly. We arrived very late and although the restaurant was closed they prepared some food for us. It was really appreciated. Food was really good. The Mediterranean way.

Fragrant Citrus Welcoming Upon Entrance

After historical sightseeing in Catania its wonderful to return to tranquility just a short hop south of city centre. Warmly welcomed by owner Giandomenico we enjoyed the delights of the country/beach within "The Natural Reserve Oasis of Simeto".
With a view of the pool and orange grove, enjoyed an exquisite lunch of homemade bite size appetizers including, eggplant Parmesan, zucchini fritters, fresh cheeses, jams all served on a wooden cutting board. Crisp Quattro Canti white wine was his choice and well selected. 2 pastas, swordfish with twisted noodles and the classic Norma with eggplant. A finale of semifreddo for desert with almonds ,caramel and espresso. Thank you Giovanni and the chef.

Walking through scented citrus groves, accompanied by "Zampa", the friendly Mascot dog, we passed a pond and entered a eucalyptus forest that brought us to a long stretch of golden beach with sand dunes and sea breezes.

Highly recommend a few days of gourmet home cooking and a restful sojourn at Sicily Country House and Beach. This is agritourism with finesse. Giandomenico and his wife Simona truly are attentive and run a top notch sanctuary.

Wish we could of stayed longer such a beautiful place. Great food an staff were all amazing. Short walk to the beach too. Couldn’t ask fir more

12 rooms with patio or balkony, very nice staff, tasty food from restaurant (2 pm til 9.30 pm) pool and beach (6 min walk), and all kids love Samba the dog 🐕

This is just a really friendly, family run place. Comfortable, beautiful views, good food and very welcoming staff. We have been here before and we will be back!
