Wow, amazing experience! Large, varied platter of local items. All cheeses delicious. Best cannolo in Sicily, freshest ricotta. It was so good we visited a second time the next day.

If you enjoy cheese this is the place for you. Lovely local cheese and baked goods and a relaxing view of the Gothic portal of st. George. The tasting menu was perfect for two with a spritz.

Risiu Restaurant truly impressed me with its warm and welcoming staff who made the dining experience enjoyable. The affordable prices didn't compromise on the deliciousness of their dishes, especially the Scaccia Ragusana which was a highlight. I highly recommend making a reservation, especially during the bustling summer season, as the place tends to get quite busy. The restaurant's excellent wine selection perfectly complemented the flavorful meals, and their dietary offerings like ricotta catered well to various preferences. Notably, Risiu Restaurant also excels in its dessert offerings. The cannolo and ricottamisu are simply delightful, providing a sweet and satisfying conclusion to the meal. The restaurant's ability to deliver on both savory and sweet fronts further enhances its appeal, making it a must-visit for those seeking a well-rounded dining experience.

Amazing tiny place that serves savoury and sweet cheese-based plates and Sicilian products. We found it by chance and couldn't be happier. If you stop by, make sure to try a bit of everything - it is sooo worth it!

I want to marry this burrata. Honestly. The best cheese I've had in a very long time and the desserts are to die for, too. Salvo and his sister are the friendliest, most amazing hosts!

Great and diverse Antipasti platter and exceptional service, explaining all individual dishes and the order in which to eat them preferably. We recommend sitting outside next to the beautiful park on a quiet and picturesque square.
Can recommend this place very much!

Friendly and helpful staff and amazing artisanal food. Absolutely recommended. This is the dessert tasting menu but the savory tasting menu was and looked delicious.

Simply, this is a cheese restaurant. I am not into aged cheeses, however, my wife is. We ordered two cheese plates, one fresh and one aged. Both were accompanied by cured meats and grilled veggies as well as some sauces.

I thought the ricotta was the best I've had, and I've lived in Brooklyn, NY for almost 20 years. The cured meats, though not made in house, were locally sourced and delicious. All the cheeses are made in house. My wife assured me the aged cheeses were all excellent.

This restaurant is a must eat at when in Ragusa!

This is a place you have to go to if you love cheese! Had an awesome lunch here. We ordered both of the tasting menus, gentle and tasty. A lots of both fresh and cured cheese, ham, salami, delicious sundried tomatoes, eggplant, pie and bred. Everything was really good. Had a bottle of Sicilian red wine Il Frappato, very light wine which was perfect on a hot day.

Best food we had during our trip in Sicily. We ate the “Gentle Platter” and Burrata with vegetables. Everything was fresh, local and full of flavor. For dessert we got the canoli di ricotta. It was absolutely delicious. The onwer was friendly and welcoming and the prices were fair.

Wow, amazing gluten free cannolo! I had a GF cannolo in Catania and it was hard and very thick. Risu makes the shell and ricotta themselves. Both are light in texture and fabulous! Gluten free people go try!!

Amazing food if you like all sorts of Italian cheeses. Especially the desserts were of great quality (I highly recommend the tiramisu). The waitress was really nice, and speaks English really well (but will switch to Italian in case you want to practice). Definitely recommended!

This was by far our best meal in Sicily from our travels over the last 3 weeks. We enjoyed platter #1 and the most amazing pistachio burrata I have ever eaten. Every mouthful was divine and paired with a lovely glass of chilled white wine, what more could one want. The staff were beautiful too so it was such a pleasurable experience all round. Please go of you can, its just perfect!

We had the starter mixed plate and it was sooo good and ended our meal with a very nice chocolate tiramisu. They also had a nice selection of specialty beers to go with the cheese.

Welcome Variation on Usual Sicilian Selection
A “Ricotta Bar and Cheese Experience “ Risiu offers a selection of deli food in tasting plates in addition to a selection of Sicilian street food such as Scacce. Adequate wine selection.
