Farmhouse La Grange of Spedaletto Castle

Ideal for those exploring Val d'Orcia with a car, especially if you speak some Italian. Beautiful, clean, spacious room, healthy breakfast catered to personal choice of drinks, pastries, eggs, hams and cheese. Cinzia and Francesco are really gentle, eager to support and above all, professional. The newly built swimming pool is absolutely a gem, fully equipped with a cleaning robot!

We came here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. It is the perfect base camp to explore Tuscany.

Great location, beautiful to walk around the grounds. The beds are extremely comfortable to sleep on. And the breakfast is very very good.

This was by far our most beautiful and romantic booked hotel ever.
A beautiful peaceful hotel build up in a castle in the middle of the Tuscany. We rented a scooter and were able to reach the little historic towns around in 15-20 minutes.
In the room where we had breakfast was one large table for all guests. That was really familiar, what we liked.
We were asked for coffee or other hot drinks.
When you go for a walk around the castle you will find a beautiful little pool there with an outstanding view on the hills and the landscape.
The room we’ve had was very clean and romantic furnitured.

From the bottom of our hearts we recommend to stay here for a few nights and enjoy the special Italian feeling.

It was a dream come true staying at a castle! The property is beautiful and clean and has the most amazing views.
We enjoyed the natural pool and the gardens.
The breakfast was the best one we had in Italy. There was good variety of cheeses, meats, eggs and homemade cakes.
It's a very short drive to many popular places like Terme San Filippo, Pienza and many other beautiful small towns.

The hostel owners, Laura and her family, are very friendly and kind. We enjoyed our stay really a lot. For questions or problems they always helped us. The accommodation itself is located in a castle. Castle and surrounding are maintained very good and beautiful. Breakfast is very good. Try especially the self made cantucci from Laura's mother. They are the best. We loved to stay here. We will for sure come a second time.

We spent 3 nights at Spedaletto castle and everything was absolutely perfect! Alice and her mum were so welcoming and helpful, they made us feel at home in their paradise :) The bio pool and views are stunning, and breakfast is delicious! It’s a great location to visit Val d’Orcia. And sleeping in the renovated rooms in the castle was a once in a lifetime experience. We will definitely come back!

Laura is a terrific and proficient hostess. The rooms are very clean, roomy, and plenty of light. The setting is GORGEOUS ❤ The food is fresh, well made, and delicious ❣ You will not be disappointed with the breakfast spread laid out every morning. This location is a perfect resting/resturning spot while sightseeing areas to the north and south. I fully recommend Castello Spedaletto.

Amazing breakfast, nice location, beautiful farmhouse and very welcoming people.

We stayed here for two nights during the Tuscan countryside leg of our Italy trip. The location is approximately a 2 hour drive from the Florence Airport in the Spedalleto region of Pienza. Impeccable B&B! It is clean and spacious, Laura is a wonderful host, incredibly friendly. There is a mini fridge in the room, and another mini fridge and kettle just outside your room in the common area where water is made available to guests at no additional charge. The views from the outside garden are just beautiful. The breakfast was so delicious, I highly recommend the scrambled eggs!

We drove to Saturnia Thermal Hot Springs one day (must visit, approx 90 min drive). It is an amazing road trip and a very scenic drive. We passed through many towns, and had coffee in Archidosso, which I recommend. On the way back we had pizza at a little pizzeria in Seggiano which was also wonderful. The B&B is also located close to Pienza town where you must go visit, wander about, buy some pecorino cheese, and have dinner at Sette Di Vino for some authentic tuscan food!

Highly recommend, and would return.

This place is incredible, it's a real castle in the heart of Val d'Orcia, the most beautiful area of Tuscany.

Everything about this location is beautiful, from the castle's yard to the rooms and the surrounding area.

It's the ideal starting point to explore Val d'Orcia, only a few minutes away from Pienza, Montepulciano and many more.

The hosts are super nice friendly and helpful and they offer an incredibly rich and tasty breakfast in a family like atmosphere.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Val d'Orcia this is the place to be.

What an amazing place! Great and unique accommodation, delicious food and such friendly service! The perfect example of "from the farm to the table"! They grown their own wheat, then stone grind it and cook fresh 🍞! Highly recommended for a meal or a stay or better still, for both!

Laura is a wonderful host! It’s a historic place to stay, in an actual castle. I’d highly recommend staying here. The cakes at breakfast are out of this world.

Staying in a castle over 800 years old was so interesting. The ground were very well done and the breakfast was great!
