Just top notch seafood plus white wine.

It is indeed very expensive in Europe but the price makes very much sense. We eat a big big big big huge huge fish and lobster.

Also, by my female friends, the waiters there are all handsome😂😂

We have been doing multiple Michelin star restaurants during our trip to Italy and we were blown away by Diverso after we stumbled upon it after reading some other reviews. The quality of food, the attention to detail with each dish, and the value of what you are paying for truly is phenomenal. The prices are very reasonable for food and wine. Cocktails are on point and just as good as the ones we had at the coveted “Locale” in town. We ended up ordering a lot of food to share. Our favorite item on the menu was a tie: lobster pasta along with the pasta and anchovies with shaved tuna. The homemade pasta was perfectly cooked and full of bold flavors. The ambiance was lovely with a modern twist in decor. This was 5 star experience and we would recommend anyone visiting Florence to give Diverso a try for some delightful eats.

My compliments to the chef and the waiter. The whole experience is great, from the crackers and bread to the dessert everything is carefully made. Not your traditional Italian restaurant. One of the best restaurant I’ve been to during my stay in Italy. Not the cheapest but definitely worth the money. Will come back if I have the chance.

We had an absolutely gorgeous meal here, and even better service! We actually found out about it from our cooking class instructor, who is one of the owners of the restaurant. He was kind enough to get us reservations for the following night, and we were very glad he did. One of the chefs came out to talk to us about our selections, and they were spot on! Best squid I've ever had, easily. Absolutely worth the 15 minute walk from the tourist area, you won't be disappointed.

A phenomenal experience from start to finish, we took a pasta class with Chef Michele and decided to dine in his restaurant the next night, it didn’t disappoint such a wonderful time, delicious food and the wine list was amazing. This will be a Michelin star restaurant soon !!!! I can’t recommend enough

Perfect, perfect, perfect! We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Diverso! Some of the absolute best seafood we ever enjoyed. The tuna tartare and polpo are a must try. We will recommend this restaurant to every friend visiting Florence. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Also a good selection of sine for a reasonable price.

Really great food!! And really great atmosphere!

Although it is a little bit further away from the most touristy areas, the food was amazing and packed with all sorts of interesting and unique flavors.

The server was super attentive and the place was pretty quiet but it was a fantastic dinner for two

I have so many good things to say about this place. We ordered several items off the menu so we could try a bit of everything they had to offer. Each one was so beautifully presented and the flavors were just as impressive. & The service was just as unique as the food! The way guests are treated by the staff I felt like we had received a personal invite to attend. They clearly go above and beyond to make guests feel special and welcome. We will absolutely be returning when we're in Italy.

If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. I have never met a friendlier staff. The server Isabella was very generous. She did an amazing job making sure everything was beyond par. The bartender Estefano was amazing as well. The quality of his drinks have been, thus far, unrivaled during my visit here in Italy. Michele and Nikolo went above and beyond as well; they explained their dishes to us, offered suggestions, and supplied us with information on things to do around town. The food here was superb! A mesh of great flavors and fantastic textures. The quality of their dishes out of this world. Best place so far. I loved it

Wonderful restaurant with interesting, different, yet delicious food. Got the recommendation from Michele, one of the owners, after taking his cooking class earlier in the day (also highly recommend). Great atmosphere and wonderful, absolutely wonderful waiter. She was delightful and fantastic at her job and genuinely cared if you liked the food and were happy with everything.
We got the Tuna Roll and Crispy Cacio & Pepe e Tartare di salmone for appetizers. My brother and father loved the Tuna Roll, they like sushi though and my mother and I not so much. However the crispy cacio was absolutely divine.
My brother and father got the linguine with lobster and both thought it was amazing. My mother and I split the wild boar cappelletti and duck, both of which were fantastic.
Definitely worth the try!

My husband and I did a wine tasting event through Air BNB, and it was the best Florence experience ever. Afterwards, we ate here and had the BEST Florence food ever!!! Seriously, it was so so good. I had the bore ravioli and oh my goodness, it was so good I almost didn’t get a pic! This is a fancier restaurant, but you get what you pay for. So so good.

This restaurant is a Hidden Gem off the beaten path in Florence. Wonderful food and staff. Truly a treat.

The ambiance was amazing. Our waiter (whose name I didn’t catch) was very helpful in explaining the menu items. He was also quite efficient serving several tables by himself.

I liked the anchovies appetizer because it didn’t have too strong a flavor.

We loved the squid ink risotto! — definitely the highlight of our dinner.

I couldn’t finish the calamaretti; it was cooked well, though nothing too special in taste, perhaps a bit salty that I got tired of it easily.

Our favorite restaurant in Florence! The restaurant is classy, hip and sexy. The chef's modern spin on traditional Italian dishes were a 💯 from cocktails to dessert. Dishes were as delicious as they were beautiful. We didn't give a perfect 5 rating only because the staff - though excellent - could use a couple more people for dinner service, and the restaurant was just a bit too warm as well.

Where do I even begin? Everything was fabulous. Every single dish was full of flavor. It was our best dinner in Italy. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss this.

Highly recommend Diverso. The food is exceptional and every dish is beautifully plated. They have a great wine list all very reasonable priced and the cocktails were unique and delicious. The entire restaurant is thoughtfully put together and the Michele and his team provide top notch service. The best food we ate in Italy by far. Absolutely worth going.

What an incredible experience! We ate the most amazing meal in Florence! Owner/chef Michele spent time with each table, taking great care to cultivate an exceptional dining experience. Our food was tremendous, from the delicious octopus appetizer to amazing grouper and chinghiale pasta dishes. Isabelle took great care of us and was extremely helpful and friendly. Highly, highly recommend this! A truly high end dining experience. Food and service were incredible!

Diverso was one of the best Dining experiences I have had in Europe. The service was incredible with some very good wine pairings and the food was easily the best meal we had in Italy. the Lobster Pasta was out of this world and the texture of the Pasta was the best I have had. The Raw seafood was incredible as well and you can tell how fresh it really is. We felt so at home at Diverso and my only issue is I cannot come back tomorrow!
