Very approachable and fascinating ruins where Rome's elite had their villas and thermal baths. Highlight for me was the upside down tree but the kids loved the one bath that was fully domed. You could whisper or clap and make some fantastic echoes. The signage around the site was sufficient to get a sense of the place and there also some cool mosaics. Decent steer side parking nearby. There even seemed to be a few spots in the gate but we weren't sure if those were just for staff. At least two bathrooms - one at the entrance and one partway through.

Impressive. Our official tour guide, faced with a multilingual bunch of ancient world specialists, was totally unfazed. The bath complex with its additional villas is well preserved, brooding (as it looms over the seaside town) and atmospheric. Long may this be open to the public.

What a wonderful, peaceful historical site this is. It's right in front of Baia Bay. You travel back in time walking these ruins. They're still digging out more wonderful structures.

Beautiful archaeological complex, well kept and with astonishing views.
It is in the center of Baia, has a small parking area, and few steps and stairs. The ticket is 4 Euros. The signs with info needs to be updated.
Absolutely worth the visit, best during the week

Exceded expectations! Went there by coincidence and were sad that we couldn't spend more time there, as we went there 1 hour before closing time.

Beautiful site, especially the dome part!

Very interesting site, especially the intact dome, as well as the two other large ruins just off-site

I visited these Roman baths for the first time a couple weeks ago and loved the experience! Less tourists and more up close than other baths I've visited.

Only €4 to get into the single site but there is a LOT to see.

Set aside two hours if you want to take a leisurely walk through the whole place. There are quite a lot of stairs and some grassed areas so I would suggest suitable shoes. Some of the stairs are quite steep but there are handrails for most of it.

There are even some access points for people in wheelchairs, some stair lifts.

The site is great and there is information signage in both Italian and English. Lots of strays cats around too if you want to bring them some scraps or something. I wish I had.

The views are also majestic.

Fantastic and very interesting. Our children loved the echo room.
It would be nice to have a guide book or descriptive map as you go round though. As the information boards have a lot of information on. But are so spread about I had forgetting what I had read when I got to certain places. There werent any guides the day we went which was a shame.
But definitely worth a visit.

My partner loves anything historic, so visiting the ruins was lovely for her. Very clean and laid out with information signs around. The only downside we had was we tried to go and do the sunken city boat tour, but it's not open to the public during week days, only organised trips.

The remains which are above water are quite extensive and nobody seems to visit them. We wandered around for over an hour and didn't meet anyone else. Make sure you find the echo room, which is really amazing.
The remains below the water are also interesting, but we felt quite rushed at the site there.
Sadly you really need a car to visit the area as there isn't much infrastructure in place for tourists.

A different kind of site. Instead of houses in a town, we see maritime villas, baths, and spa at Baiae. A playground for rich Romans, the site is different from what you find at Herculaneum or Pompeii.
