Ristorante Ala d'Oro la tradizione dal 1952

I'm not sure whether I would eat at the restaurant if I weren't staying at the hotel as it's a little more expensive than my usual choices. But the convenience of a decent restaurant in the same building makes up for it. My hotel room and general level of service were also excellent.

I was there one night, good ratio price/ quality, rooms simple but clean, perfect location for sightseeing. I would have rated it 4 stars, but one extra big star goes to the girls at the reception desk, extremely kind, welcoming and ready to help out in any possible way and the girl serving breakfast , very professional and with good attitude. Really nice hotel a few minutes easy walk to the centre of Lugo. Rooms are clean and comfortable having been, or in the process of being updated.

Great dining experience. Dishes are delicious and very well presented. A highlight is also the wine selection and great advice.

Excellent hotel, right in the historical centre of Lugo. Very nice location, in a historical palace, it hosted a great number of famous people, from everywhere in the world. Nice rooms and very good restaurant right inside the hotel itself.

Amazing and friendly staff, quite helpful and willing to go out of their way to make your stay more accommodating. Highly recommended.

Accidentally booked but a super place. Interesting, experimental cooking, nice staff, thoughtful and thorough on the coronavirus safety. And the town is gorgeous.

Go for the hotel and friendly staff, stay for the food :) its a perfect combination of a lovely hotel with a great kitchen.. this is Italian cuisine at its best.

Very very good Italian restaurant, lovely personel, small historic house, we strongly recommend visiting here ( but not Lugo unfortunately).
