Antico Borgo Taverna-Cocktail bar & Enoteca

A town to start with fantastic views and this place is lovely. Excellent food and service with superb wines. A lot of so so food pushed out to tourists in the very busy locations gets a lot better out in the country side. I ate and here three times in one week, sparkling wine with breakfast. The wine cellar is impressive and they run a B&B with lovely rooms also. Enjoy!

After some not great meals on our trip we were so happy to find this restaurant. It was by far one of the best meals we had while in Italy. They take so much care with what they do and have so much knowledge about the local wines and produce. We had a lot of charcuterie in Italy and they were the only restaurant that took the time to tell us what everything was, where it came from and something about it. The wine list is extensive and they are very knowledgeable about the bottles. A really great experience.

This place is a real jem in Italy. I will never forget the sense of welcoming I have received. Rooms super clean and quite and peaceful. It is a cosy and gorgeous place run by a local family. The food quality is absolutely genuine and local and refined at the same time. The oil they produce nearby will make your food experience in Tuscany so unique. I strongly suggest you to sleep there and eat in their restaurant. I will surely go back to Seggiano thanks to the special people I have fould there.

We spent three months in Seggiano and during this time Antico Borgo became our second living room. Veronica and Mirco welcomed us warmly from the first moment on. They both know how to create the perfect balance of professional customs and cosy atmosphere. You will find yourself among a different crowd of people each time you go, depending on the time and day, but each of them will carry a friendly face. The staff has created a wonderful assortment of drinks and bar food and delicious lunch and dining options. Seggiano is a magical secret spot to visit and when you go, you cannot leave without stopping by at Taverna Antico Borgo.

Un posto incredibile, molto elegante con musica jazz o bossa nova di sottofondo.
Luci soffuse e cucina sublime.
Lo chef propone pietanze cucinate a bassa temperatura (cottura sottovuoto), in grado di conservare tutti i succhi e i sapori e la tenerezza delle carni.
Da provare assolutamente il filetto di manzo irlandese con salsa ai frutti rossi.
Ottimi anche i primi.
Personale giovane, molto cortese e disponibile.
Prezzi poco sopra la media ma assolutamente in linea con la qualità proposta.
Da provare anche i dessert, gustosi e serviti in maniera egregia.
Doppio le 22.30 il locale resta aperto come cocktail bar.
Unica difficoltà, non imputabile al ristorante ovviamente, è il parcheggio.

Siamo stati qui sabato 24/07/21, a pranzo. Abbiamo preso solo un tagliere di affettati e formaggi e due dolci, ma diamo comunque 5/5.
Crediamo sia giusto premiare così la competenza e professionalità di Veronica e tutto lo staff, in aggiunta ad una non comune cortesia nella accoglienza del cliente.
Ottima la selezione di prodotti del luogo, notevoli i vini del podere Montale.
Menzione speciale per il gelato con l'aggiunta di olio di olivastra. Gusto particolare, ma a noi è piaciuto tantissimo.
Bella e caratteristica la location, che nel tempo sarà ancora più valorizzata.
Bravi i ragazzi che hanno iniziato questa avventura in tempi così difficili.

Esperienza eccezionale, ne è valso il viaggio da Roma . Cocktail superlativi con riferimenti al territorio, piatti che non hanno nulla da inviare ad un ristorante stellato, il tutto servito con professionalità e competenza.

Sehr zu empfehlen, tolle Lokation in einem sympathischen kleinen Dorf in der Toskana.
Ich denke der Koch hat sich heimlich aus einem Sterne Restaurant geschlichen um hier versteckt seine Passion und Können weiter auszuleben.

PS.: Der Service war natürlich auch spitze!!!

Siamo stati a cena con i bambini ed è piaciuto moltissimo a tutti e quattro.
Si nota che tutto è fatto a mano e con ingredienti locali, ma soprattutto con molta cura.
Jonathan è un anfitrione gentilissimo e ci ha fatti sentire come a casa, oltre a spiegarci il menù con lusso di dettagli.
Una menzione speciale per i dolci di Chiara, che sono assolutamente favolosi.
Da non perdere!
