Hotel Boutique Castiglione del Lago

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. I stayed with my brother and my parents, and we had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, beautiful and modern (With historic touches, like an old wall painting), the location absolutely sublime (In the heart of the ancient center of Castiglione del Lago) but perhaps most importantly was the remarkable service from the staff and owner of the hotel. The hotel seems like a family run business, with an extremely kind and welcoming owner. I recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a calm space in the beautiful historic centre of Castiglione del Lago.

We visited Castiglione del Lago, Italy, during a six week tour of Europe, of which four were spent in Italy. We chose this town because we thought it would be a relaxing place to visit in the middle of our journey. We were not disappointed. Hotel Boutique Castiglione del Lago was wonderful. What was initially planned as a two night stay at this boutique hotel turned into a three night stay because we enjoyed our stay so much. Paolo, owner, was wonderful, inviting, and pleasant to interact with. The rooms were so comfortable and couldn't be any more up to date. The bed was very comfortable, space beautifully decorated, lighting and fixtures were high end. There is also a boutique store downstairs that we shopped at prior to departing. It was the best hotel that we stayed at during our entire trip, hands down.

From the moment we checked in, we were enveloped in the warmth and inviting ambiance that resonated from every corner of the hotel. Each room was tastefully adorned, echoing the town's heritage while maintaining a high standard of comfort and modern amenities. The view from our window was a serene tableau of the quaint town, and the soft murmur of the streets below added a lively undertone to our stay.

But what really elevated our experience from enjoyable to extraordinary was the impeccable service, especially from Paolo, our gracious host. Paolo was not only attentive and welcoming but also took immense pride in sharing the hotel and the town's history. His passion for his work and the care he took in maintaining the historical integrity of the hotel were inspiring and added a new dimension to our stay.

He effortlessly combined the professionalism expected of a top-notch hotel with the familiarity and charm of a local host, truly embodying the spirit of hospitality.

In essence, if you're looking for a stay that is comfortable, pleasant, and rich with local flavor, this hotel would be the perfect choice. The combination of its prime location, the historical significance, and the outstanding service makes it a must-visit on any traveler's list.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!

Hotel Boutique Castiglione has the best amenities we've found so far. Italian hotel rooms can be a culture shock for American tourists: overall bathroom size, shower enclosures, and limited air conditioning. Our room had a good-sized bathroom with a normal size shower. The air conditioning was effective and kept our room at 20°C. It was what an American expects from a good hotel.

The hotel has very modern design features: electronic access via card, lights on timers and sensors, and the interior design. At the same time, it is set in an ancient neighborhood and the walls of our room had an 18th century fresco. It exists within the old world that attracts people to visit Europe, with modern convenience, comfort, and charm.

The best part of the hotel is the proprietor and his family. They went to the ends of the Earth to make sure we were taken care of, and didn't want for anything. We cannot conceive of better hosts. We made new friends and had a lovely stay at the same time. We felt like extended family by the time we left.

When we come back to Italy, we will start in Castiglione del Lago, and we will stay at the Hotel Boutique.

Wonderful place. The rooms a gorgeous. The owner is extremely friendly and went out of his way to make our stay perfect.

Absolutely lovely hotel. The view from the top suite was amazing and the jacuzzi was great. There are seats nog on the terras and even sun beds. Unfortunately it isn’t allowed by law to put up a sunscreen because it would ruin the esthetics of the old town. I totally recommend this hotel if your in the area as it also a good base to visit the Perugia area for a few days. Parking is free right next to the old town. To the owner everything was Tutti Benno !!

Probably the best hotel in this wonderful little town. Clean, modern, friendly service, everything you need including a nice bed that really makes you sleep like a kitten.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo raffinato hotel in occasione del ponte di Ognissanti. È una residenza storica recentemente ristrutturata con arredi e servizi di altissima qualità. La struttura è ubicata al centro del borgo, sul corso principale, ed è facilmente raggiungibile dal vicino parcheggio auto. Abbiamo preso una junior suite. La camera, sufficientemente ampia e molto luminosa, appare moderna e arredata con gusto, ed è dotata di un bagno molto confortevole. Un plauso va alla pulizia dei servizi e alla simpatia dell'albergatore. Piacevolissima esperienza, da ripetere senz'altro.

Abbiamo pernottato una notte nella suite. La camera che dire meravigliosa con un letto grande e supercomodo.Nella notte
ho avuto un problema di salute e la mattina mi sono recata in pronto soccorso. Il proprietario dell'albergo, il signor Paolo, è venuto al PS per accertarsi della mia salute; oltretutto con un caffè e delle briosche. Direi una persona gentilissima e molto umana.

Siamo stati in questo hotel una settimana, gli ultimi giorni ci ha raggiunto nostra figlia. Castiglione è un gioiellino, bello e ben curato, pieno di turisti ma ciò che fa veramente la differenza è l'accoglienza di Paolo e della sua famiglia, persone gentilissime e sempre pronte per esaudire ogni richiesta. L' hotel è una commistione tra antico e moderno molto piacevole. Veramente una vacanza piacevole con persone che sanno fare bene il proprio lavoro. Ci torneremo sicuramente 🔝

Proprietari bravissimi e cordialissimi. Mi hanno consigliato dove mangiare e infatti sono rimasta soddisfatta. La camera moderna molto bella e luminosa, di uno stile fresco e all'avanguardia che mi è piaciuto molto. Soprattutto il bagno che aveva una doccia fantastica. Situato nel cuore di Castiglione del Lago, dotato di moderno e veloce ascensore. Mi è piaciuta tanto la colazione scelta e la sua sala aveva soffitti di travi in legno e pareti di pietra antica che si fonde bene con l'allestimento contemporaneo.
