Camping Federico Farm

This August, we have spend a full week on the campsite in our own tent. Therefore, this review does not include other services, such as bungalows or glamping, which are also available.
We found an absolutely lovely campsite, run by its extremly friendly owner and his children, who also speak English and are always keen on helping out and provide information on the surrounding areas.
The campsite is equipped with several bathroom modules, some of them solar, some with hot water 24/7. Hygiene is taken seriously and we have not once encounterd a dirty toilet or shower. You will always find toilet paper, soap and desinfecting spray at your disposal.
They offer breakfast service, ordering a day ahead, you can use the laundry mashine for a small extra fee and wifi is available on the whole campsite without extra charge.
Furthermore, you can practice plenty of sports activities: soccer, basketball, pingpong, bow and arrow, slackline, trampolie, you even find a small boulderwall, which makes it a great spot for families.
They would let us decide ourselves, where to put up our tent, so we were able to choose between the many spots in the shade below the chestnut trees or more sunny areas. Pluggs for electricity are available throughout the whole campsite. At night, they will turn on several lights until midnight, to generally illuminate the campsite.
The surrounding area is beautiful, but you should know, that the site is located quite the steep and curvy road up the hills. Driving with a very big motorhome or trailer could get tricky, with our Renault Master, we were perfectly fine. There are no shopping possibilties directly nearby, all grocery shopping must be done down in the little town of Pontremoli.
You will finde a lovely river with small waterfall and natural pool very close by (10mins drive) and many other possibilies to explore the area.
Pricing is very resonable when you stay for a longer period, since good discounts are given for stays longer than 3 days.
Overall, we can not enhance the beauty, peace and friendliness enough and absolutely recommend you a visit, if you are into the quiet of nature in the italian hills.

The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Camp is really beautifull and they have many activities you can do free of charge. Toilets are probably the cleanest I've seen so far in camps. All in all a great camp.

We had an amazing time in the middle of nature. The campsite is run by a lovely family, everything is super clean and the breakfast is delicious!
There is no signal, but the wi-fi works perfectly and I was able to work remotely without problems.
We spent two nights here and we would love to come back in the future.

Such a great camp! Amazing staff, especially Alessandro, had a nice kick about on the great football pitch! Very nice and quite campsite in the hills. Pure nature. Clean and nice toilets and great Wi-Fi. If we had more time would have loved to stay longer!

Absolutely perfect! Very kind staff, clean bathroom and toilets, silent place. We have 5 dogs and this camp is for us like a miracle. We got our own very large part of camp. Fantastic breakfast.

If you‘re looking for a clean, small, family run campsite in the middle of nature, you‘re in the perfectly right place here! The spots are not fixed, so you can choose wherever you’d like to settle. We enjoyed the privacy and the peace. The owners are super friendly and even prepare breakfast for the next morning on order. You‘ll also find the best w-lan here. We spent a night with our roof top tent and two dogs. We felt very welcome and so we‘ll surely be back. Thank you for having us!

Nice spot, with a stunning view. The owners are very friendly and can tell you a lot about the surroundings. Great hiking and biking opportunities. Every morning there is a breakfast services, with lovely pastries.
Clean toilets and showers.

Very nice and small campsite located on a hill 400m above Pontremoli. A bit difficult to find but it's worth the effort. There are several activities especially for children like soccer, table tennis or badminton.
The place is very clean and nice as well as the showers and restrooms.
The owners family is very kind and helpful.

My friend and I stayed at this campground for 3 nights. The owner was very kind and helpful. The Wi-Fi was great and worked well-had no issues. The bathrooms were very clean and well-kept. I'm from Ohio, USA and loved camping here. Fresh drinking water and plugs inside the tent was a plus, too! Thank you for making our stay excellent.

We arrived with a group of 7 people and a dog for three nights. You have a wonderful view over the valley, amazing hospitality of the owners. They even put our towels inside our tent because of a rainy day and we were out on a day trip.
The lavatory is very well cared of and clean throughout the entire day. Upstairs you have 3 toilets and showers, downstairs you have 3 showers and toilets. Both upstairs and downstairs you can also do the dishes.
In addition, you also have the possibility of entertainment with badminton, Ping Pong, archery, soccer, barbecue,... We had a great time with this. When you're passing through, you can stop here. The owners have provided tents with all the necessary facilities. This is also thoroughly cleaned and washed after departure.
Pontremoli is hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic camping in the hills north of Pontremoli. If you like a quiet place and beautiful nature this is a great site. For kids there is a soccer field. Suitable for campers and tents. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Do pay them a visit!

Camping is located within plain nature, high up a mountain. Very well received by the host(s), who were always friendly and ready to help us out. The town downhill (Pontremoli) is definitely worth a visit, as well as the “Gorges of the Straits of Giaredo”. Good place to camp when visiting the Cinque Terres.

Great campsite! Family ran and a very welcoming environment. Would reccomend to friends and family. Clean and functioning facilities, not to mention the open space for games and activities. Will be back!

A lovely campsite, quiet and shady and well kept. Drinks and snacks to buy at reception and delicious breakfast cage in the morning.

Amazing simple camping, with lots to offer. Very clean toilets/showers. Also sportsfield, table tennis and swing. The camping lays on top of a hill and has a cosy setting.

Beautiful campsite in the middle of the forest. Very friendly family owners and great for people looking for some peace & quiet and outdoor activities :) the nearby gorge is highly recommended.

Chill atmosphere camping in the hills, hammocks available, ping pong, football, barbecue. No mobile phone network but excellent wifi.
