Locanda Il Rustichello

A true hidden gem! This cute mountain retreat is worth the winding drive. The food alone is divine.
We had a small but surprisingly roomy spot with a balcony and a view. Everything was sparkling clean and homey.
The restaurant is superb with local specialties and a friendly atmosphere. We had a nice mixture of the traditional bread pasta, meats and cheeses galore.

There was a nice walk up to the point, a church and more views. The hosts/owners were hospitable and just really hard working, friendly folks.

We will be back as soon as possible.

We had the most lovely stay in Locanda Il Rustichello! The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful, the view is amazing.
This is for everybody who wants to enjoy some relaxing days in the beautiful toscana. Also don't miss out on the delicious Food from the Restaurant. They cook with local products. But beware of hugo the cat. He may look cute but is quite spicy and might try to steal your steak. And if you wan't to explore the surroundings, there is an app that shows you sooo many nice things to do.
We will definetely come back here one day.

Hands down the most magical place I’ve stayed in.
If you are a romantic traveler this place is for you. The cabin is placed in a small village in Italy, surrounded by nature and the authentic vibe of Italian culture. When we first arrived we were mesmerised by the views and the peaceful energy, you can see the small villages from the top, the mountains. The place is very clean, every detail is unique, the food is delicious, and the ingredients are picked carefully from local vendors.
The thing that surprised me the most was the hospitality of the host and how he made us feel, like we were family. Everything we needed was provided for us before we had to ask. We’ll be coming back for sure!

Hotel above the village of Mulazzo with great atmosphere, delicious dinner, and amazing view of the Apennine Mountains.

We (2 people) had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Mulazzo. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the dinner was delicious with definitely reasonable prices, and the view of the Apennine Mountains was breathtaking. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
By a coincidence on the evening there was a live music by 3 wonerful guitar players. Together with the great food this evening was wonderful.
Also to note the breathtaking view which can be seen from the room.

A unique experience, summer, at the top of the mountains, near the beach

By far one of the most beautiful experience until now. Both the conditions and the hosts are seamless.

After traveling during the hot days, nothing compares to the fresh and cool air from the place Il Rustichello.

I recommend without thinking about choosing this location to any person who puts the price on both the conditions and the quality of the people who host them.

What the staff of the premises does is observed that it is from the soul and passion. Any desire we had, the hosts jumped to our aid. From waiting for us with cold prosecco bottles that were ready for the evenings when we arrive after closing the bar and until a beautiful meal for 12 people, on the terrace, with an exceptional view.

Without a doubt I will return to this beautiful location, which I recommend to anyone to do.

Loved my stay. Beautiful and peaceful B&B with stunning views. Dinner/breakfast was suburb and staff was very friendly. Highly recommend for couples, solo and family travellers

One of the best places i’ve stayed in Italy. Nice quiet location and the breakfast is amazing, staff is very friendly, rooms very clean.

The place is located high on the mountain, a magical place. We came only for 1 night with our 3 kids and we are sure we will come again as a couple. We wanted to cherish the moments there.

Extremely cozy and friendly corner of paradise! The hosts are great, food is marvelous and the views are to be remembered... Will definitely come back next autumn!!!

Beautiful food in a beautiful location

Perfect place.

Soggiornato presso questa struttura all’inizio di giugno. Appena entrati siamo stati accolti calorosamente dal proprietario e dalla sua famiglia. Ci é sembrato di essere a casa fin da subito. Lo stesso ci accompagnava all’interno della camera con il fine di sistemarci per poi recarci a cena. Preciso che arrivammo con più di un’ora di ritardo e, nonostante ciò, si rendevano super disponibili.
La cena degna di essere definita a km 0, piatti locali, ottima presentazione, eccezionale il tiramisù proposto, ottimo servizio, molto attento e curato.
La camera perfettamente pulita e igienizzata, buon profumo appena vi si fa ingresso. Letti comodi, biancheria pulita, buon assortimento di accessori.
Al nostro risveglio i panorama era mozzafiato, tra colli, casali sparsi qua e la e i versanti delle Alpi Apuane. Paesaggi incontaminati, per chi cerca pace e tranquillità, lontani dal caos cittadino.
Colazione perfetta, elastici nei tempi di check-in/check-out.
Ci ritorneremo senz’altro.

Struttura davvero molto bella cirocondata dalla natura. Ideale si ci si vuole rilassare.

Ho cenato con amici a base di ottime pizze cotte nei testi e torte di verdura lunigianesi davvero molto buone. Non valuto le camere perchè non ho soggiornato ma solo cenato. Vista mozzafiato su tutta la valle. Prezzi davvero alla portata di tutti e servizio gentile e simpatico del ristoratore.

Io, mio marito e la nostra bimba di 15 mesi abbiamo soggiornato in questa deliziosa locanda per 3 notti.
Appena arrivati, abbiamo subito respirato un'atmosfera calda e accogliente: l'ingresso, come anche la sala, le scale e le stanze, sono molto piacevoli e curate nei minimi dettagli; il che rende tutta l'esperienza davvero unica e suggestiva.
Inoltre, già dalla prima comunicazione con Tony avevamo intuito che persona magnifica fosse, poi con il nostro pernotto ne abbiamo avuto la conferma. Abbiamo anche conosciuto un po' tutto il suo team composto da altrettante persone gentilissime e simpatiche. Possiamo solo che ringraziarli per tutte le attenzioni ai bisogni della nostra piccola, che si è sentita subito a casa.
Il ristorante è fenomenale, di grandissima qualità.
Dopo tutto questo, la tranquillità, la natura sconfinata e la vista mozzafiato sono la ciliegina sulla torta!
Peccato essere rimasti così poco, ma torneremo con grande piacere.
