Il Molo

My family and I ate lunch here twice, and the food was delicious. All of the dishes that we got including the desserts, were great. The sea food is always fresh and all of the staff are wonderful.

The food in this restaurant is a mystic experience.We chosen all" le chicche", from the menu, to share, I've got the linguine burro e limone, my partner the plancton pasta as main courses . The service been impeccable.
The owner been super kind.
She was really committed and helped choosing a perfect wine for our meal.
Nothing negative to say about it.
Absolutely a place to try.

Fancy restaurant on the pier with delicious food. Particularly noteworthy the octopus, that was a full, small, cooked octopus served on a tray, the butter linguine with rae fish and the plancton pasta. Recommended!

Best restaurant specialised in fish that I've ever tried so far in my life. It might deserve a Michelin Star for my humble judgment. The concept behind their mixing up ingredients with innovations and obviously hyper-fresh fish is impressive and flamboyant.
It isn't really just a gastronomical restaurant but an experience that involves all 5 senses and I strongly advise only for fine palate or expert, unfortunately only a niches of people are gonna be able to really appreciate that.
Prices are fair and wine selection pretty impressive. Staff is friendly and you can pay by cash or card.
I hope to have the chance to get there once again before leaving this Sicily.

After walking along the promenade we found this place, a quick google search & it was rated very highly so we gave it try, on approach we were greeted by a man who asked weather we wanted aperitivo or dinner, it was 19:40 so the restaurant wasn’t open yet, the gentleman rang the bell & said to the member of staff let them to eat, we said we can till 20:00 but he insisted, the decor is very plush, 5 star rating. The menu was vague, but on ordering I saw why, the presentation of the food & the combinations were a visual treat & it tasted divine, the price is also very reasonable for what you are offered.

Relaxing and lounge experience. Food is excellent. Good for a dinner or for a "enforced" appetizer. Cool staff, everything clean an nice. Highly recommended

Great rooftop bar. Perfect ambience and good vibe. Relaxing music with serene water views. Food and service were outstanding.

The Roof Garden is a very nice bar at the harbor of San Leone. Amazing ambience, great chilling music, very good cocktails and good food from the restaurant Il Molo nearby. Also with very very fresh fish on the card. The employees are very kind and constantly pay attention to their customers. Will come back!

Amazing experience at Il Molo : the food is inventive, cooked with fine products and very well assembled in the plate, the waiters are great, funny and very professional. We enjoyed the location too, in a nice area. The prices were fair compared to the quality of everything. A real pleasure to dine there, I highly recommend it.

This place deserves a long review! I gave it five stars even though I would have given it 4.5 for a series of minor flaws (and just giving 4 wouldn’t have been right either).
Food is amazing, so good that I didn’t even stop to take proper pictures! We took the menus for 32 € (drinks and service not included) which comprises a small amount of many different things. Among the appetisers we got the tastiest oysters ever, and a very nice octopus salad. There was also a dish of shrimps with cocktail sauce which was good but very 1970’s (there was even a cherry on top!). First course comprised a risotto and a pasta both amazing but the pasta overwhelmed the taste of the risotto quite a bit! Amazingly cooked anyway and perfectly al dente. Second course was also a mix of 4 different dishes. It was good but less interesting then the things that came before. The service was extremely nice and friendly... but don’t expect a good command of English. This won’t be a problem anyway!
In general tips are not expected in Italy because the service is included in the bill under the voice ‘coperto’ but often is less than 10% so I would suggest to add something to reach it if you are satisfied with the service.
The only flaw that I want to point out was the wine list. It was not clear (and the design was bad) the vines were listed mostly by brand and the year was not stated. But the selection was good enough. Ask for the year if you’d like a specific one as you get the last one by default.
I definitely recommend this place for lunch, it was not busy and it’s pretty close to the archeological sites of Agrigento.

One of the most amazing restaurants in Sicily. If you find yourself around Agrigento and have time to pay a visit it's definitely worth it. Fresh seafood cooked in an inovative way

I randomly found myself in this beautiful town on a one day visit to the valley of the temples and decided to try il Molo, mainly due to its terrace overlooking the local marina. The food however exceeded my expectations! All dishes were exceptional and the service friendly and professional. Well worth a 5 star rating.

After our speedboat excursion, we made a wise choice by visiting this restaurant. The dishes were exceptionally tasty and elegantly presented. The Chef and the team deserve credit for their expertise. Furthermore, we had the pleasure of savoring a delightful rosé wine and indulging in a passito with dessert. Remarkable experience, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

We just dropped by for lunch after a boat trip, and despite not being properly dressed (flip flops, short and t-shirt) we were warmly welcomed and served absolutely professionally ( many reviews complained about the service, but we had great experience).
The food was also great, the michelin acknowledgement is well deserved!
Congrats to the staff, this plce is strongly recommended!

We had a really lovely dinner! Great service with a good starter menu. Our food (pictures) was fantastic! The money is worth the taste! Coordination of the service is very organised. You have to order the antipasti with seafood!

I almost never leave feedbacks- but this place was one of the most amazing restaurants I've ever been. Perfect service, amazing fresh food, every single detail in the dishes was perfectly balanced and the quantity went above and beyond. I literally had a mind blow with every bite. I'm an Italian living abroad and the thing I miss the most is food prepared with love and care in restaurants. I got emotional during my dining time here. I can't remember the last time I ate such great food. No money was better spent during my holiday, then here. I sincerely thank the chefs and the staff, not only for the food, but also for making this one of my fondest memory with my family. 10/10 would recommend!

Non lascio quasi mai commenti - ma questo è stato uno dei ristoranti più buoni in cui io sia mai stata. Servizio impeccabile e preciso, qualità del cibo fresco straordinaria, ogni singolo dettaglio era curato e bilanciato in modo perfetto. Ogni boccone mi ha lasciata senza parole. Sono italiana e vivo all'esterno e una delle cose che più mi mancano è la cura e l'amore che i ristoranti sanno dedicare alle pietanze. Suonerà drammatica ma mi sono commossa durante la cena. Era da davvero tantissimo tempo che non mangiavo così bene. I soldi sono davvero ben spesi qui. Ancora i miei ringraziamenti agli chef e al servizio staff che non solo hanno cucinato del cibo straordinario ma che hanno creato l'atmosfera perfetta per creare un ricordo con la mia famiglia che non dimenticherò mai. 10/10!

Just in front of the marina, we were going to get a quick bit for lunch, but upon walking in it turned out to be a more upmarket restaurant. Very friendly staff and the food was very good.

Excellent food, amazing view, great service. Quite sophisticated for the location. Tasting menu was exceptional and ordering for two would easily feed 3 even 4 people.
