Great spot in Montecatini old upper town. Very good quality food. If in the very peak season or over a weekend, service could be slow but compensated by the genuine people who work there (family business). Enjoy!

Cosy and tasty restaurant. They really do their best to make themselves understandable in English. In our case, we had no issues with the communication.
The food was really good, and all with a special touch of the chef which made it even better. The portions are a bit smaller, yet the prices are sharp. The food is nice, not too fancy and expensive.

Our local Airbnb host recommended this beautiful place. We were there quite early for Italian standards. I.e. we arrived around 7pm. At that time the kitchen was not even operating but we used that time to taste some delicious prosecco. We ordered quite a lot of food because we couldn't decide what to eat. Everything was awesome especially the Cacio e Pepe. This was mind-blowing for me. The service was very kind. If you are going to Montecatini Alto, this is the place to be.

Excellent restaurant. It was recommended by our host in in Montecatini Alto and indeed the food was great. Only problem is we had a hard time Google-translating the menu as the friendly staff was not able to speak English ( a good sign that their guest are mainly locals and not foreign tourists :) ) but we end up not really trying their degustation menu which from peeking to the table next to us looks fantastic. And it was really popular, on a weekday evening the tables were almost full, guests were driving up the winding roads only to eat there!

The best meal we had within two weeks vacation in Tuscany! Very friendly staff, nice city, nice street Party - but the Most important: the best meal in whole Tuscany! We will come back!

Very nice dishes, super attentive service. they managed to serve us very quickly even though our family of 7 arrived without reservation and did not speak Italian. The orange shrimp is highly recommended!

A very nice place and polite waiters. We were there without a reservation and still got a table after a short wait.
To all the bad reviews e.g. Daniel Otterbein, in a top restaurant you can have the food brought back with an explanation or it may be because your palate is not used to local preparations. Something like that can be clarified on site.

Fantastic place. Great service, good vibe, really special and outstanding italian food. Alto has made its way out of being a tourist trap with the usual restaurants and Casa Gala is one of the gems now up there. Reservation is recommended of you want to have one of the cozy outside tables. The whole joint is decorated with much love to detail. Thanks for the hospitality

Had a party of 10. Reservation highly recommended since they were very busy. Service was great and food was a better deal than the Platea. They had live music that added to the ambiance.

This was my favorite meal of our entire trip! The gnocchi and seafood was amazing. 2 years later and I am still thinking about it. It's a must try when you visit. Remember to be patient, especially if you aren't used to the culture yet. There is nothing to rush for in Italy just it back and relax!

The nicest gem of Montecatini Alto, One of the best restaurants in the area , very kind staff the young lady in fact accomodate us very fast , the wait weren't too long , plus it was rainy so we had chance to eat inside, inside the place is marvellous, the menu speaks alone, would love to try all the plates, will be back for sure , my girlfriend trieed two plate of pasta, so again the chef is an artist, his brother in the Floor is very professional, and their mum is an excellent pastry chef !

Best restaurant in Italy on my trip. I loved the mixed appetizers, the truffle oil pasta and the fried lamb. Service and atmosphere was also amazing, still thinking about it now. Would definitely go back!

Visited Casa Gala during lunch time, not yes time for us for a full meal but enjoyed their fingerfood. This was extremely delicious, good quality of ingredients and the service was great! I would definitely recommend this place when you’re around!!
