Hotel RivaLago

Visited in Sept for a romantoc stay with my wife. We LOVED this place. I can't believe that its not a 5 star. Super clean. Very elegant. Great food. Lovely little village. Highly recommended.

Lucky to have stayed a couple of times in this beautiful hotel, perfect in everyway for our quiet luxury escape..
Only tip I could give guests using hotel parking, smaller is better..

Wonderful, Beautiful hotel set in a fantastic lakeside location. Everything is well appointed, delicious breakfast and dinner with many choices. Great poolside service. All staff are excellent and very friendly

Excellent service - cleaner found I left my blazer w passport in the room when checking out and found me to return it! Partner at end of breakfast asked if they had more fruit infused water, lady brought her one, similar experience for another guest.

Super relaxing place with great view and food.

Very good lake front hotel. You can relax by the lake all day and go for the occasional dip in the lake. The restaurant is very good too - so you don’t really have to leave the hotel - but you should at least take a trip to monte isola! Breakfast was excellent!

Only negatives are:
* lack of hooks in the room to dry the pool towel that you only get one of for your whole stay for environmental reasons - yet the shower towels get replaced every day?!?!
* our room had a connecting door to the next room which wasn’t very sound proof, so we could hear everything the neighbours were watching on TV.
* They should really get a real espresso machine. The restaurant is very good, but if you then get served an espresso that‘s basically brown water with mild coffee flavour it ruins the experience a bit!

This was the third time lucky re Covid restrcitions in 2020 and 2021 and wow what an aweome hotel. The hotel, room, view and staff were all excellent. The couple of things that would make is absolteuly perfect for me would be to make the access into the lake easier as I would have loved to swim but re a knee problem the drop from the end of the steps was too much. And a step for the jacuzzi as though we did manage it every day - it would have been easier with a step. BUT we would still definately return. The breakfast is just wonderful, something to suit everyone. We also had dinner at the hotel 4 out of the 5 evenings and it was wonderful.

This hotel has it all! It's a relatively new hotel (10-12 years) and in excellent condition. It lays next to the wonderful lake Iseo, it even has its own stairway down to the lake. We really enjoyed jumping into the lake for a swim every now and then. It also got a nice heated swimming pool and a sun deck directly over the lake, and there's also a very hot jacuzzi.
Everything is perfectly taken care of, from the garden and the pools to the rooms. The staff are extremely kind and helpful.
The breakfast is one of the best I've had in Italy and way better than a lot of 5-star hotel breakfasts.
The restaurant also serve really good food in the evenings.

We had absolutely nothing to complain about and will most definitely return soon.

After a 15 hour flight, this hotel is a sight for sore eyes (and limbs). Como and Garda can’t hold a candle to this lovely gem of a location. It’s zen in a little gorgeous corner of earth. Rooms are a little small but clean and comfortable. The rooms in the adjacent building are much better in terms of size. But the outdoor areas are so lovely who needs to stay indoors? Breakfast is to die for and was consistently the best meal of the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

All round incredible spot away from the hustle bustle of other lakeshore towns. Good sized pool with all day pool side service, with a desigmated entrance into the lake water from the hotel garden.
Rooms delightful, spacious and well decorated.
Hotel restaurant is one of the more fancy food establishments in the area, but worth the expense. Views from breakfast garden and pool are so so nice.
Will be coming back for sure.

The place is gorgeous. Overlooking the lake with a very nice sunset. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The diner was good with very nice ingredients. Rooms maybe a bit noisy but the rest makes up for it. Also nice to take the ferry to the island opposite.

selection of food at breakfast, with a view that overlooked the picturesque lake. Could not fault this hotel, will most definitely be back soon!

Send to be family run, it's chic, clean and staff are helpful. But the clincher, of course, is the gorgeous location out at the lake edge. Especially perfect for a spectacular breakfast.

We attended our son's wedding which was held at the Rivalago. An outstanding event with great attention to detail. The hotel was welcoming to all guests and went above and beyond to accomodate everyone's needs. Thank you Rivalago. We will all always remember a fantastic wedding and holiday.

Stunning hotel with incredible views. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was amazing, the bed was comfortable, however our room was right above the road into the hotel and was very noisy in the morning!

.Right on the lake in Sulzano. Beautiful location in a beautiful town. If you're going to Italy, and have the freedom to choose where to stay, stay here for at least a couple of days.

I absolutely recommend this hotel. Also, highly recommend the nearby restaurant, Mr Bike. Photos attached.

Beautiful location and very polite staff. The price of the food is very reasonable too. A wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
