What a gem. Delicious ragú, large portion.
Reasonable (might say cheap) prices.
Best coffee of the trip. All with a view.
Might want to reserve a table.

THE best place on the island to eat, in my opinion.
The staff are the nicest people.

The location also. Well worth the little walk up the hill. Or on the return after walking up to the top of this beautiful Iisland .

We were on a tour around Monte Isola and stopped by this lovely place for lunch. The crowd on the island is mainly along the shore. These few meters up the hill provide a niece view over the lake already.
The staff was super friendly, warm, and welcoming. The food was truly original italian food with local delicacies from the island (fish, salami, olives). Take the anitpasti plate! The smoked trout is just one of the highlights of it. Their ravioli with fish were great as well. We will be back there for sure!

We had a steap climb to get there. Good and and nice staff. Large meals that left us full. Home made olive oil was delicious 😋
The restaurant had the greatest view over the Lago d'iseo shore line.

Overall we recommend it if you are on a trip to monte isola, after a day trip on bicycle around the island:)

Wonderful trattoria with the most delicious local food - including island salami, fish from the lake and the owners’ excellent olive oil. Beautiful ambience and lovely service and would absolutely go back. It’s definitely worth the short trek up the hill.

It’s worth the walk up here for lunch, about 7 minutes up hill from the harbour. The food was delicious, we had tagliatelle with lake fish and sardines with polenta. Portions are very large and the service was very friendly.

Wonderful restaurant with amazing quality food and super friendly service. We had the appetizer platter with fish from the lake which was amazing and huge as well as three pasta dishes. The waitress was also so super kind to our daughter and I love that you can just order pasta pomodoro anywhere for your kid and it is just perfect.
So definitely a high recommendation if you are at the isola and want to have fresh food with local fish from the lake.

What a lovely restaurant, the climb in the heat was really worth it. Very friendly people, a great menu with English translation included and the best tiramisu you'll ever have.

Great local food in a quiet environment. We had a taste of the olive oil produced by the owner, which was fantastic. The view of the lake is also very good.

Wholeheartedly recommend it, as much for the food (incl. the lovely apple pie) as for the personnel (in particular, the lovely young waitress whom I could speak some English with). I will be back!

Also, recommend buying their homemade Olive Oil. It was great.

Food was excellent, staff were warm and friendly - and put up with our pigeon Italian! Tiramisu was to die for and we sat for a good hour enjoying the house sparkling wine. The perfect pit stop up the hill 10/10

Must order a place in advance. or at least call before starting the hike (it's uphill) as it's usually full!

We had lunch here. The food was good and way cheaper than at the harbour in Peschiera. The staff didn't speak English, but they were very friendly and we managed to order and enjoyed our time and the nice view there :)
