Best restaurant in Montepulciano! The food is the highest quality, the service is excellent and location is 2nd to none. My husband and I have dined here each time we visit Montepulciano and I will tell you, it's fantastic!

We have worked our way through the menu and can highly recommend everything with truffles. Plus, I always start with the pecorino flan and then I have a hard time choosing between the 4 cheese gnocchi, pici al fume, pappardelle white bolognese and then the steak - don't get me started. The Fiorentine is outstanding. I love their tiramisu too - I'm always full when I leave.

The staff are always warm and welcoming and the wine list is incredible. We will definitely return again and again!

We were in Montepulciano for 1 week to celebrate the New Year. We went to Ristorante ai 4 Venti probably 5 times!!! This place serves amazing food. Service is top notch and felt very personal! Every single time, it felt like you are being welcomed into their own homes. Each time, we asked them for wine and food recommendations and each time we were blown away. We had their Pici Al Ragu, Bisteca Fiorentina, Tagliatelle Al Nobile and so much more. We kind of worked our way down the menu. Our friend had their gnocchi, every time. You need to finish off your meals with their panna cotta with caramel and tiramisu. You'll go to sleep very happy.

REVIEW FROM A LOCAL B&B OWNER: A Culinary Journey Through Tuscany and Romania at Ristorante ai 4 Venti!

We recently had the immense pleasure of dining at Ristorante ai 4 Venti, and we were absolutely floored by the impeccable quality, service, and atmosphere. A huge thanks to Beatrice and Claudia for hosting an unforgettable evening that went beyond traditional Tuscan cuisine to introduce us to spectacular Romanian dishes from their home country. Each and every dish was scrumptious, beautifully plated, and out-of-this-world delicious.
The staff, including Claudia, Emanuela, Giulio who work in the Kitchen and Marcello, Beatrice and Mihai in the dining room were warm, wonderful, accommodating, and attentive. The starters were exceptional; the cauliflower soufflé was beautifully plated the Chianina beef tartare with accoutrement were a delight.
As for the second course, traditional Romanian soup, delectable walnut ravioli, and blueberry risotto were a revelation. The main course was a traditional Romanian smoked meat and potato stew, truffle-covered beef slices and of course a Bistecca were all mouthwateringly good!
But the evening didn't end there! We were treated to a fabulous heavenly tiramisu, accompanied by a whimsical green apple cotton candy plant in a terra-cotta pot.
As a final touch, Beatrice poured us some barrel-aged grappa and a unique, spicy pepperoncino liqueur for the perfect digestive.
What sets this restaurant apart is its brilliant fusion of local, traditional Tuscan dishes and Beatrice and Claudia's Romanian culinary treasures. The Romanian dishes were an unexpected and spectacular addition to an already amazing menu.
As bed-and-breakfast owners, we only recommend the best of the best to our guests. Ristorante ai 4 Venti is undoubtedly it.
To underscore this, our guests this week who stayed with us for 14 nights dined here three days in a row!
Hats off to Beatrice and Claudia for such a wonderful, diverse, and enriching dining experience. If you find yourself in Montepulciano, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. You will not be disappointed!

Been here 3 times in 2 days for lunch and dinner. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The food and wine were delicious and the location is great. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in Montepulciano!

Excellent food, location and service. Prices were very fair too. The wine was unbelievably good. We had the melted cheese for starters and a crostino with tomatoes and basil. Just amazing. Simple, fresh and delicious food. Totally worth the visit.

Excellent new restaurant. The Peposo was melt in your mouth delicious. The pork (tagliata di maiale ) was exceptional. Food was so good we called for the chef to compliment her. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into her business. Waitstaff was flawless. I wish I didn’t live 3,500 miles away so I could return!

Absolutely amazing in every way! We stayed in Montepulciano for a week over the New Year's holiday and we ate here five times! From the minute you walk in the door, Marcello greets you with a warm smile, making you feel as if you are home. When seated, Claudia, Beatrice, and the rest of the staff are so personable, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about all the food and perfect wine pairings. All of the dishes we tried were mouth-wateringly delicious and we look forward to going back many times in the future. Congratulations to the entire team for making the perfect restaurant!!!

Enjoyed a perfect three course meal here earlier this evening. The staff gave great service and spoke good English. (My Italian is sadly lacking!). The food was all freshly prepared from tasty ingredients and I loved every mouthful. Good value too. Thank you!

We had such a delicious dinner that we went back another night. Everyone in the restaurant was so warm and friendly and Claudia was exceptional. You know she puts her heart into everything she makes and trust me you will not be disappointed with her cuisine. There were 4 of us and we each tried something different every night and were always impressed with the quality, taste and portions. Another note, a lot of restaurants open at 7:30 for dinner and were pleasantly surprised that they were open earlier. If we ever return to Montepulciano we will back to see Claudia.

It was raining heavily and the place was almost closing. Nonetheless, even without the chef (who was leaving when I arrived around 21:45h), the waitress Beatrice made everything she could to let me enjoy the dinner. She cooked, suggested a wonderful wine and prepared desert eventually.

Fantastic restaurant on the Piazza Grande in Montepulciano. Great service, tasty pici and other pasta dishes. The tiramisu was the best we had while visiting the region. We sat on the patio on a Saturday and there was a wonderful guitarist who played instrumental music across the way. Lovely!

Simply wow. Perfect meal. The pici is perfect. If I could give it a 12/10 I would.

We walked into this restaurant with no expectations. We've never been to Montepulciano before. I must be crazy because I'm not a big fan of pasta. The pici ragu was the best pasta I've ever had in my life. Do not miss this place if you are ever in Montepulciano!

I have been coming to Montepulciano for well over a decade. About 5 months ago new ownership took over this restaurante went from just OK food to outstanding food. It is very evident that the quality of their ingredients and meat are very high. Then to make things better, the owners Claudia and Beatrice (Bea) are two of the nicest and welcoming people you could hope for. They and the rest of their Team are like a family and share that same feeling with their guests! Finally, the wine list is amazing and the atmosphere both inside and on the terrace is beautiful. If you're looking for the perfect lunch or dinner location and want the best food in the town, this is it!

We had one meal in Montepulciano and chose Ristorante ai 4 Venti and we were not disappointed! The service was personable, the chef was smart and creative, and the food was perfecto! The wine list is long - ask for a recommendation in your price range and they will choose the best wine for you.

This is the first time I've ever been to Montepulciano. We stumbled across this restaurant in the towns Square. I never order pasta because I make it at home but when in Italy, you order pasta. The Pici de Ragu was the best pasta dish I've ever had. Do not miss this place. It is absolutely fantastic. (We came back for breakfast and ordered the Pici de Ragu🤣)

We had a late lunch and the place was recommended by locals for quality food and staying open all day. We served bistecca Fiorentina which was wonderful. Very good service friendly atmosphere. And we got suggestions from the nice waitress to visit Etruscan old town. 👍👍👍

What a great discovery…The best newly opened restaurant in the city, Cannot recommend this fabulous place enough, the food was absolutely lush🤩they offer a huge selection of international/ italian delicious dishes,desserts & the best wine .We were welcomed by the friendly staff, they made us feel really great.We will be back very soon.Thank you guys.
