Wonderful place to visit in a day. We went around from Capri to Anacapri on scooter, price was for everything fully insured. this is the best way to get around the island.

Like any island it can be pricy just a note before you go.

Water is crystal clear and warm you can take a boat out from the Amalfi coast and i think the gentle boat ride over was worth it as an experience on its own. I do love live commentary about the history of it which is given while you're on the boat.

We visited this beautiful island on a day trip from Naples, and we had a fantastic time. The island's natural beauty, tasty food, and rich culture made our day unforgettable. It's definitely worth a visit :)

Absolutely gorgeous this island with everything it offers. The atmosphere, the view, the water, everything is at the highest level. This is the place where everyone exclaims "wow" at every step, so it can be called WOW island 😜

Such a beautiful island that you cannot miss! It was actually our plan B at the beginning, but somehow we missed the ferry to Amalfi coast and here we are! We actually really enjoyed Capri and it has so much to offer : beautiful view, a variety of shops, a variety of restaurants and cafes and you can even take a boat trip out if you are down for a underwater adventure!

We had a great time in Capri. I would highly recommend a private tour if your only there for the day. A private tour will get you past the lines and through all of the experiences quickly including the chairlift and private boat ride through the caves and some swimming.

The most beautiful island when it comes to Italy, the hike all the way to Anacapri is the most beautiful when you go through the 1000 steps stairwell you get to enjoy the view from the highest point of the island don't forget to take the cable car all the way to the top, this island is full of wonder beauty and amazing food

One island where you have everything beautiful landscapes,Lust gardens, Blue grotto, Limoncello and also known for their perfumes,Roman water caves and the amazing sunsets, you can see through boat rides, they are pretty reasonable.

My family and I vacationed on the Amalfi Coast. We stayed in Amalfi, a nice town surrounded by nice people. Of course we also visited Capri. We took a boat to the island, where we spent a wonderful day. We took a bus to AnaCapri, walked around and had a great view from the cliff over the harbor. We swam in the sea and cooled off. Of course, there was no shortage of other refreshments (ice cream). But the prices are, as expected, inflated, so that you have to open your wallet very generously.

Must visit island if you in the Sorrento coast area. Spell-bounding views all around the island of caves, grottos, rocks , cliffs cradled within the cover of clouds.

Multiple trips available from Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, even Napoli.

Beautiful and picturesque!

The place is wonderful and everyone I met apart from one person (works for the bus service) was wonderful.
Expensive to eat and drink compared to some places but it does have charm.

Took a boat around the island. There are lots of little caves and wonderful spots to jump out and swim.

If I could I would live in this island. Is absolutely stunning. The views are amazing, beautiful gardens everywhere and the lemons are super big. You can get to a lot of places by just walking. They have so many good shopping stores. Many restaurants to choose from. And many coffee shops. This is my favorite island.

God's creation always takes a trophy🏆. Beyond blessed to have experienced Capri and Anacapri with my lovely sister and daughter. The year was 2017😎 I'm sure a lot has been improved. The Italian culture and values are wonderfully made and always warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for your golden heart 💛 we loved and felt at home.

Absolutely stunning! Highly recommend a day trip or overnight stay. Be sure to visit the Gardens of Augustus for incredible views of the Faraglioni.

I was there only for a day and I liked it a lot. The atmosphere is very pleasant on the island. There is no crowd. Flowers and lemons are everywhere, which makes this island the most fragrant place I've been to. Unusual streets, a lot of stairs, uphills and downhills, lovely houses and fascinating views are all around. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to visit the blue grotto.

Incredible island with immersive natural beauty. Very nice people are all over the place. One may spend some on a taxi, since it’s pretty expensive. Make sure to visit: Marina Piccola, The Blue grotto, Gardens of Augustus, Villa San Michele, Punta Carena Lighthouse as well as other most popular and romantic destinations. Greatly recommended to speak basic Italian during the visit.

Capri is a gorgeous island. Advice on how to get there: you have multiple companies that sell the tickets to get there by boat, however, they are just one way tickets, you have to buy tickets again to come back to Naples, which is the place where I took the boat to go to the island, the price on average is 22 euros, unless you buy a tour, you will have to buy twice the tickets to go and to return. Most companies close at 6:30pm, except Caremar that has an extended schedule, specially to leave Capri, this company has the last boat to return at 8pm, plan ahead and buy your tickets to return if you are not staying during the night in Capri as it is expensive. I had 3 hours to see as much as I could, I would say that a total of 6 hours would be enough to fully get to know the island, I managed to go to all the main places, except for the Blue grotto tour that depending on the company, it will cost around 20 euros, then, please do not miss the sunset from the lighting house, it is the best view to get amazing photos and an unforgettable view of the island during the sunset. It is a lot of walking, in those 3 hours to see as much as possible I walked 20km. It was totally worth it and I would do it all over again, the views are amazing, there are many places to get granita or gelatos, or just water to keep going and enjoy all the views. The mandatory photo is from the Garden of Augustus, and please plan ahead so that you can manage to get to do the Blue grotto tour, I saw the pictures taken by another tourist and they were just incredible, I believe it is worth doing it and seeing it at least once, I will definitely return one day to do it, besides that, having extra time in Capri is meant to sit in the harbor, to enjoy a good espresso or cappuccino and to enjoy the view with friends or family or your significant other. There is plenty of space in the boats to go to Capri and to return, just buy the tickets and be on time as there will be lots of people and I mean it will be super crowded but you will have space in the boat as long as you have your tickets, so do not rush and I highly suggest to stay for the sunset, so according to the season, check the time of the sunset and buy your return tickets accordingly, and enjoy!

What a lovely and breathtaking island this is 😍🏝 I'll leave some information below for a trip there from Naples (because I was personally staying in Naples 😃). Pictures of my entire trip are attached.

1. What to bring:

- If the sun is up and will hit you most likely from 180 degrees, then definitely bring some sunscreen, hats, swimsuits, backpack, sunglasses, big bottle of water.

2. To get to the Capri Island:

- Go to Molo Beverello port. It is located right in front of Castel Nuovo. Depending on where you stay, you can actually and preferably just walk to the port.

- You can buy your tickets at the dock. You'll see the ticket office right before you arrive at your destination. They open the office at 09:00, and it is recommended that you take the earliest ferry as possible since exploring Capri will take an entire day (eg. from 9-19)

- The trip takes an hour. Inside of it feels like a plane.

3. Ticket Prices:

- For adults: £23 (One way)

-For young people (under or 25): £21

-Make sure to get your return ticket since it might not be possible at Capri.

4. After Arrival at Capri:

- You'll arrive at the dock, not the center of Capri. That's more upstairs, therefore you'll have to either take the bus, or walk there. I recommend you walk there, because it's a great way of exploring the area - you'll also pass through the local people's houses. They're so cute 😍.

- Walk around, explore what the island has and how the shops look like.

- Go up to Anacapri (another district on this island), walk there, eat lunch. Take photos on the way tho.

- When there's 4-5 hours left till your return, definitely do a boat tour. (they usually cost more than €30 per person) I've done a private one which was a bit more expensive but it was a tailored service, which indicates that I was more flexible with the time, and places to stop by.

Do a trip all around the island - it's worth it. You'll love the natural beauties you'll witness ❤ No doubt. Btw the private tour usually costs over €65 + big tips at the end (like 10 euros)

You are allowed to stop your private boat and swim (I suggest you swim in Blue Grotto)

5. Return

Definitely be at the dock 5 mins prior to the departure because the captain is strict with the times

Enjoy your trip 😊🏝

The picturesque Capri island is a paradise for the travellers. It's blue turquoise crystal water is the best attraction. This island is called as a celebrity island where the celebrity rent a yacht and chill in the water. You can see a lot of of yacht around this island. Go for a day walk/hike around the island. It's a one of it's kind experience
