Ristorante Pizzeria Pozzo Contino

In the busy and heavily touristic town of Alberobello (Unesco World Heritage Site for the Trulli House Tradition), even off season, or especially because of that, it can be hard to find a place to have a proper dinner. Most bars and local eateries serve small dishes and drinks mostly. Some pizzerias even told us that they only serve pizza during summer. That's a bummer when you and your 2 kids are hungry at 6 pm.

This is why this pizzeria with a fantastic view (pictured), reasonable pricing, and delicious pizze came just right!

Everything was nice, and I can't complain about a thing. The pizze were crunchy, just how I like them most.

This pizza restaurant with rustic interiors offer good pizzas and drinks and a great value for money. The seating on the terrace offers great views of the historic center as well.

Look, this isn't a Michelin star restaurant. Come and have a pizza and a beer and you won't be disappointed. Great selection of breaded cooked products. And if pizza isnt your thing, try a pucca, chips are fine too. Don't want beer? they have some excellently passable wine. Come with an appetite, leave satisfied. Great view over the trulli area of Alberobello, and you can even eat outside. If you come during rush hour expect up to a one hour wait. But I'd wait. I'm not related or biased or anything, but these guys have a good thing going. Give em a try. Wifey thinks this is the best pizza in Alberobello.

Very good pizza. They do have an English menu if that's useful. We sat outside and the view was fantastic of the trulli. They are open earlier for dinner than many other pizza places, which is useful if you have young kids who need to eat early.

Our experience was 5 star. We ate 4 pizza and all of them was very delicious. The waiters were polite and the restaurant has a nice view. On top of that the wines were perfect as well.

First, it opens at 7pm instead of 6pm. That was that only bad thing that happened there, though. We decided to wait in the nearby bar and returned just after 7pm. We sat in the garden with an amazing view on trulli houses. We ordered two pizzas and they were amazing.
The best we have eaten in Puglia so far. It’s also really affordable place. We paid €15 euro for two pizzas and some non-alcoholic drinks.
