It is a very warm nice restaurant in Arbelobello. Every dish was tasty; the Chef is interested at all the tables, staff is helpful. Ambiance was family style. I loved the cave styles in Arbolebello.

The best place to dine. Amazing atmosphere, the food was everything I've heard about Italy, the service was impeccable and the owner is there to make you feel at home. Definitely worth it!

Incredible meal we had at L'Aratro! All dishes we had were exquisite. Finest food we have tried since our visit to Puglia. Simple additions like salad and grilled vegetables all done perfectly - they were not just a throwaway addition. Great service included and the chef came out during the meal to check everyone was enjoying the food which was a great touch. Local art work on the walls and traditional yet clean venue. Would recommend anyone visiting the region to come here!

We had great time in L'Aratro restaurant. It is located in a typical trullo and the atmosphere is very authentic. The meal was very good, the wine was from a local vineyard. The service was superb and we felt well by the fireplace.

An absolute surprise find on a very hot day in Alberobello. Would highly recommend the antipasti for two. The variety and volume of tantalising morsels was outstanding and seriously enough for lunch. We had already ordered the salsicce/sausages though, so we found room to devour them as well. The host and staff were very helpful and were more than happy to speak English as we practiced our Italian!

Amazing. The antipasto dish (€24) comes with about 10, small amuse-bouche style dishes. Very rich in flavor and surprisingly filling. Got the classic menu + an additional pasta dish to share with one other person. Staff was friendly and prideful in their food and service

Fantastic service, fabulous local wines paired with the tasting menu- we really enjoyed. From the several delicious starters to the mains made from locally sourced produce and ending with fantastic almond semifreddo (ordered extra one!). Lots of laughs and inspiration for own kitchen shenanigans.

The restaurant’s antipasto plate with tastes of a variety of local products was great. Staff was so friendly.
Cozy fireplace in the little section of the restaurant where we ate was very welcome on a cold rainy March day!

Great restaurant in the historical centre of Alberobello. The owner is generally always there and is a very sweet man. The service is great. Now onto the food, which was excellent. We had:
1. The antipasto (the house special - minimum 2 people) this is highly recommended. My photos do not show most of the antipasto, but it is many small plates and each was absolutely awesome.
2. The capocollo di Martina Franca (a town next to Alberobello) which was excellent.
3. The Orechiette (a traditional dish from the region).

While I didn’t dine gluten free, the other member of the party did. She had gluten free orechiette, and was provided with gluten free bread and taralli!

I would definitely recommend this place.

We came for my husband’s birthday. The food was great. I would recommend the full L’arantro starter (you’ll have 8-10 small plates. My husband and I shared 1 portion and we’re half-full from the starters alone) and the mixed grill (the quality of meat was definitely the best for the whole trip we were in Puglia). Great & lavish meal for two with drinks only costs us under €80. We can’t get anything of that caliber at home for that price.

Spectacular and delicious! The personnel were welcoming and we had a chance to be greeted by the Chef! We went for lunch and the options on the menu were local and amazing!

Unique and wonderful restaurant in Alberobello! The food here was all local, traditional and yet authentically unique (and delicious)! Domenico wonderful and the service is outstanding! This was the perfect meal in Alberobello!

Wonderful restaurant, ideal for families or a romantic lunch for two.
The personnel are very kind, thoughtful and welcoming and they all speak very good English.

Enjoy their recommendation of meals and wine and enjoy true Pugliese experience.

We were recommended this place but were dubious when we saw it was in the centre of the busy & touristy part of town. We were a party of 6 for lunch including a small child. From the lovely welcome, the beautiful old building and fantastic service, we all had the best lunch here. The wine was served immaculately and was superb - we chose the Primitivo red from the owner and it was probably the nicest wine we’ve had all trip. The service was really quick and friendly - and the food - all 6 of us were raving about how delicious each of our choices were. Don’t give a 5 star rating often but this place is special - a truly local, authentic Italian that we’d all highly recommend!

We were exhausted from shopping so a female merchant of a “fine linen” shop, just up the hill, directed us here for a relaxing lunch situated inside two or three Trulli houses. The menu items were limited so we had fewer options to choose from which had us momentarily consider leaving for another restaurant. Happy we stayed because our pasta and meat entrees were “oh so good”. I devoured my delicious grilled pork sausage links and potato chip-like French fries. These fries are so unique because they look like fat potato chips but are actually tasty seasoned fries. Our food arrived rather quickly, and our server was attentive. The colorfully dressed owner stopped by several tables to chat.
