We had lunch at the restaurant! Excellent meal! We had the goulash soup, the polenta with cheese and truffle, venison ribs and grilled cheese. Very generous portions and absolutely amazing.food. You HAVE to try the kaiserschmarrn. The one with apple and cinnamon is one of the best we ever had! We will be back

Nestled amidst the majestic peaks of the Italian Alps lies a haven for ski enthusiasts and epicureans alike – Rifugio Salei.

We stoped for lunch at the restaurant .... and we loved everything from savory pasta dishes bursting with flavor to decadent desserts that delighted the senses.

And let's not forget about the desserts – oh, the desserts! Indulging in heavenly tiramisu or delicate panna cotta while gazing out at the snow-dusted landscape was a sensory experience like no other.

Of course, no ski trip would be complete without hitting the slopes, and Rifugio Salei offers access to some of the finest runs in the region.

Very nice place to come for a break from big cities. It has both restaurant and self service. The self service is really fast and food is nice.
I suggest to come before 1pm if it's ski season because it gets crowded very fast.
The big dining room has lot of space and light, such a good view on the mountains.

The lasagne served for lunch stop during skiing was truly incredibly delicious 😋

Great service from the Italians.

Washrooms in ALL of Dolomite ski area are clean, modern and well above average. Looks like the return of the Romans!!

One of the better slope restaurants. Great set up and food. When good weather they open the tented roof of the terrace making it a perfect place to have lunch or drinks. Especially recommended are the Kaiserschmarren, shredded pancakes, made freshly at their own terrace cooking station.
