Definitely worth the trip! Go for a guided tour. So much to learn, so many details. Such nice views and a beautiful well kept garden. Coffee shop has good coffee. Another great visit with the tessera FAI.

Definitely worth the visit. It is an old medieval castle that one of the workers said dates back to the year 1002. Lots of the furniture inside dates back to the 1600s and is all original. The day we were there they were removing over 100 pictures from one of the rooms in order to restore it to the state it was in in the 1600s. Behind the pictures you could see the original frescos. In general the inside of the castle is majestic. The kids will enjoy the labyrinth and the castle play ground. The settings is amazing as you are surrounded my the Alps.

Very beautiful and well conserved ancient castle of 1070, built by the Lombard king Arduino, the first king of Italy. All rooms are painted and with ancient furniture. There's also a nice café, with good prices for maxi toasts, first meals and mixed taglieri of cheese and cured meat.

Excellent. Quiet in the fall. Wonderful place to visit. Opens at 10 am which is a bit late but it was worth waiting for the opening.

Lovely FAI spring flower show in the shadow of the Castle of Masino. Lots of stalls selling all sorts of plants. Very well organised.

I've been to this castle at least 3-4 times. I always enjoy going and have been sure to bring family and friends so that they can see a beautiful castle with amazing views. Visitor cards in each room have various languages so don't worry if you don't speak or read Italian. The grounds are also beautiful and you'll be mesmerized by the antiquities inside. Definitely an easy castle to navigate with great things to see!

I just stopped by this place as I had some time left on the way back home. But I realized this place is way better than I expected. unlike the outside building, there are full of beautiful things inside castle, as well as beautiful garden with fun maze. The view from the castle is breathtaking, which reminds you Toscana view, I think. Must-visit place in this area.

A great Italian historical property, it's been owned for several years now by the FAI (Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano). It's very well preserved and the visit is always interesting. Additionally, it is home to nice exhibitions, especially those for plants and flowers in its internal park.

An attractive park where the pine trees have natural sharped stems and branches, there are also nice looking hydrangeas that become brush... The panorama look from top is excellent and out of breath, in any case it should thanks to FAI that contributes this jewelry place that is absolutely worth visiting.

Top view of La Serra (longest morenic hill in Europe).
Long tradition Castle, with parts dating back to the about 1000 years ago! Original maintained always in family hands up to 1987. Worth a visit, also for the park.
