Villa Cièusu

Great house with large pool close to a Main Street, but we didn’t mind that much. The house offers various places to enjoy your time, our favorite was the hammocks where you can enjoy the sunset (also nice from the balcony). Owners very polite, good communication and useful recos for places to visit and eat. Would come back again, although the bed is quite old/used and soft mattresses. Would also recommend to buy something for the mosquitos that otherwise keep you up at night :D. Two neighbor houses right next to this house but also very polite and you barely notice them.
Ragusa is close in case you want some shops/restaurants aso. Beach is approx 20 min away.

Amazing Villa in a beautiful part of Sicily.

The host Elio gave us a warm welcome, we were greeted with a plate of local food and a bottle of wine and felt right at home. The house is beautiful and the pool is great for kids. There is plenty to see and do within 30 minutes driving distance, a great hub to experience the south of Sicily

The house offers excellent privacy and a pool for yourself. It has all you need and everything is in an perfect state. It offers spectacular views of sunsets and a spacy terrace for stargazing.
There are beautiful beaches within 20 min drive within nature parks and a shopping center is just a couple of minutes away. It's our second time here and both is and our kids love it.
The host is simply perfect. Keeps everything running in a very discreet way, always ready to help with recommendations and to fix anything if needed.

We had a wonderful week in the villa, we are a family at 5.
It is a very tasteful decorated and charming villa with a lot of nice details - both inside and outdoor. The house and the garden are very well kept and clean.
There are several places to relax outside, terraces and lawns, always a possibility to find a quiet corner or shadow. There are enough of chairs, tables and sunbeds, it is a beautiful garden. The pool is fantastic, clean and big enough for a little swim and playing.
The villa is in the countryside, with a nice view and we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets in the evenings.
The house is very well equipped, there is everything you need for cooking in the kitchen and for a normal household - very nice! There is a shopping area in the near, you reach it easily by car.
In the other end of the garden there is a little house/studio, where my sister and her family lived, it gave us the possibility to be together in the daytime and at the pool, and there was enough space for all of us.
Finally, Elio was a very good host, the communication with him was very easy and quick, he was kind, helpful and very generous, we were welcomed with local specialties, and he gave us information about the area.
We hope to be back!

We had a slendid stay at Elios place. Nice, clean and well-equiped. Even though we arrived past midnight, Elio and his son was there to welcome us and served delicious local food. Our best recommend

Volevamo staccare da un estate frenetica , cercavamo il silenzio , la quiete e la comodità , volevamo un posto che combinasse tranquillità e storia , pace e mare , campagna e centro e sicuramente questa dimora ha esaudito tutte le nostre aspettative…… non dimenticherò mai quei tramonti sul terrazzo come la gentilezza di Elio e la bellissima moglie ! Consiglio questa struttura ai saggi , ai sognatori , agli amanti quelli veri però della Sicilia ♥

La tiepida carezza dello scirocco e la luce di indescrivibili tramonti impreziosiscono maggiormente questa location situata nel cuore della terra Iblea. Luogo dove si rivivono le tradizioni del posto cui fanno da cornice gli antichi muri di "pietra a secco".
Gli sceneggiatori della fiction di Montalbano hanno preso a piene mani tutto ciò che questi siti offrono, sia nel campo culinario che artistico. Oltre a quanto descritto, questa villa ha la caratteristica di essere al centro di altri luoghi di interesse, sia paesaggistico che storico/artistico. Letteralmente a due passi da splendide spiagge, così come ci si trova a due passi da città come Scicli e Modica, città che ha dato i natali a Quasimodo. Se poi si desidera allontanarsi di pochi chilometri si arriva alla Valle dei Templi o alla Scala dei Turchi. Monumenti unici di storia e natura.
Parlare del cibo e degli ottimi vini, oltre che della generosa e indistinguibile ospitalità siciliana, mi constrigerebbe a dilungarmi eccessivamente. Buone vacanze.

Sono stata ospite di questa meravigliosa casa a giugno 2017 con il mio compagno. E' accogliente, silenziosa e fresca. Grazie alla posizione in piena campagna siamo riusciti a rilassarci e a godere della natura circostante...senza contare la stupenda piscina! La posizione ci ha permesso di raggiungere in poco tempo le località di mare (Marina di Ragusa, Punta Secca e Donnalucata) come anche Ragusa Ibla, Modica e Scicli...assolutamente da vedere! Torneremo sicuramente in questa zona della Sicilia e a casa di Elio e Giovanna.

A seulement 10 mn en voiture de la magnifique ville de Ragusa, à 10 mn du château de Donnafugata et à 20 mn des plages, cette villa est un havre de paix dominant d'un paysage superbe de prairies ceintes de murets de pierre. Une terrasse permet encore d'élargir le magnifique panorama pourtant déjà bien visible depuis le jardin. Les multiples coins et recoins du jardin permettent de s'isoler et de trouver toujours de l'ombre autant que de cueillir des figues et de varier le lieu des repas, surtout que tables, chaises et transats ne manquent pas ! La maison, très propre, très confortable et bien équipée, est aménagée avec goût et dans le respect de la tradition locale. La piscine, très bien entretenue, est pendant les grandes chaleurs estivales, une réjouissance. Enfin, pour couronner le tout, l'accueil, la gentillesse et la disponibilité du propriétaire Elio sont réellement impressionnants. Il fait tout pour que votre séjour soit une réussite. Nos séjours dans cette villa sont un BONHEUR !

Bellissimo posto per trascorrere una rilassante vacanza nei pressi dei luoghi del Commissario Montalbano.
Bellissime spiagge di sabbia dorata nelle immediate vicinanze e ottima cucina locale.
Infine da non tralasciare il bellissimo barocco ibleo a pochissimi km, la stupenda valle dei templi e, per gli appassionati,l'etna a pochi minuti di macchina

Nous avons passé une semaines des plus agréables dans cette villa confortable et au charme fou. Les pièces sont décorées dans le style sicilien local et celles du rez-de-chaussée sont assez fraiches, ce qui est très appréciable en été. La villa offre de multiples coins qui permettent à tout à chacun de trouver son espace: certain préférera s'isoler sous la pergola pour déguster un bon vin, l'autre profitera des hamacs pour s'accorder une sieste pendant que les deniers se regrouperont autour de la piscine et de ses transats. La villa nous offre un luxe: le calme.
Depuis la villa, il est très facile de visiter la Sicile baroque (Ragusa, Modica, Noto ne sont qu'à quelques kilomètres) et d'accéder aux plages.
Enfin, l'accueil d'Elio et de Giovanna est des plus chaleureux: nos hôtes nous ont accueillis avec le sourire alors que nous sommes arrivés avec beaucoup de retard sur l'horaire annoncé en raison d'une attente importante à l'aéroport.

Ein sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus. Die Außenanlage ist traumhaft. Ein toller Pool und viele Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen in der Sonne oder im Schatten. Besonders der überdachte Esstisch draußen war sehr schön mit einem tollen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang.

Une villa très agréable avec des terrasses ombragées et une belle piscine, autant de possibilités pour se détendre dans un joli cadre. Des propriétaires adorables aux petits soins pour votre confort. Proche de Ragusa, très belle ville.

Maison située en pleine Sicile baroque (une merveille), très agréable, parfaitement équipée, spacieuse et décorée avec goût à l'intérieur comme à l"extérieur. Jolie piscine, très appréciée après les visites très nombreuses dans le coin. Excellent accueil d'Elio, très serviable et très à l'écoute. Nous sommes arrivées en début d'après-midi et Elio nous a reçus avec plein de spécialités italiennes que nous avons dégustées sur l'une des terrasses, merci encore ! A recommander sans hésitation.
