Beautiful place in South Italy, Calabria. The castle is situated at the opposite of the magnificent old town of Scilla. Worth a visit

A small but interesting castle with beautiful views. Admission is not expensive, as it costs €2. It is a place where you can certainly get some peace and quiet, but also observe the surroundings from the walls. I recommend :)

Beautiful castle on the sea. We did not have time to go up on top but what we were able to see was great. This little out of the way town is one of the best kept secrets in all of Europe. We always enjoy finding places like this off the beaten path

Nice castle , lovely experience. From the balcony on top there is a wonderful view over the Sicilian coast. It is worth a visit .

How often do you get to explore a real castle?

The history here is amazing. It's so cool to see what this once was and how well it's been restored and cared for. The pictures do not do this justice at all. We have come a couple times now and we would absolutely check out the castle again.

Be sure to take in everything, it's a bit expansive and there's a lot tucked away that you may not notice right away. And the views from the castle are stunning!

Amazing castle on a clifftop facing the stunning view of Sicily, the strait and the Eolic Islands. €2 cost for the tour is definitely worth the experience.

The main attraction in Scilla. The museum inside the castle is somewhat underwhelming and feels a bit random, but there’s no better panoramic view point to the town and the ocean than in here. The entrance is only 2euro so it’s a no brainer. If you only spend only a few hours in Scilla make sure to put this on the list.
