Minareto

Luxury resort with a wonderful beach and a nice swimming pool. The bar in the rocky spot has a superior view to Ortigia. The overall location is superb. Prices of extra are high. Breakfast choice is superior and the quality is great. My only negative comment is the boat service to Ortigia that is too expensive and with no choice than one provider. Going to Ortigia by car is uncomfortable. A shuttle service or a better boat service should be in place.

Walk in booking after a bad experience with another place. So helpful, brilliant English skills, very polite. Lovely room, air con etc but it's the staff who make the place. Great views, good facilities, ok price. Recommended

We just spent 4 days at the Minareto and to say this is excellent is an under statement. The staff go well above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble.

Beautiful hotel located just minutes from the historic city of Siracusa, spectacular views with a large seating and swimming area along the shoreline with amazing views . Fine restaurant and lovely rooms as well as bungalows, a large outdoor pool is also a key feature .

I couldn’t believe how amazing it was in person after pics online / on Google. It has been / is being completely redesigned. Our room was brand new and we were completely blown away with our stay, the property & their team. Amazing swimming spots too xx

Fantastic hotel. Nice upgrade to jacuzzi suite helped. You need a car if you are wanting to site see. Luca and the reception staff were very helpful. Lovely private beachfront

INCREDIBLE!!! The hotel is beautifully constructed and has the most perfect location setting for a relaxing beach resort. The rooms are impeccable and I really like the interior design and overall comfort of the rooms. The private sandy lido is perfectly positioned for optimal sun in the am and early afternoon while the bayside cliff lounge area is perfectly positioned for later afternoon sun bathing and a picturesque sunset view encompassing the Fort of Ortigia, Mt. Etna, they bay and rolling hills of Siracusa. This is a bucket list must stay resort for couples. Service was also top notch and all staff were extremely helpful and polite. Overall EXCELLENT!!

Great and lovely place with good rooms and super nice beach area. Service is good. Facilities can be a bit maintained (shower not working at beach area) and the food for lunch and dinner is not so good.

Definitely the best choice to stay near Syracuse. stunning views to Ortigia, sandy and rocky beach in one place. The rooms are comfortable, classic design and marble in the bathroom with Hatria porcelain.
The staff from the BF is very friendly, the manager behavior of the hotel is exceptional, he cares personally about the guest requests. We spent a pleasant time here.

Great hotel, great service, great food.
We booked our holiday through Thompson and found the hotel was just what we were looking for. The grounds were perfect with a private beach, and tucked away rocked area with sun loungers where you can dive into the sea. The al fresco dining looking out to see was perfect. The local town Ortygia is a 25 minute drive away or there is the option of a private taxi boat from the hotel.

Fantastic hotel.
Stayed here for 7 nights, the staff are all excellent, great breakfast selection and excellent facilities. The main beach is beautiful with very helpful staff on hand, the 2nd rocky beach is perfect if you want something slightly less busy, there is also a great pool. Restaurant in the evening has some great dishes to try.

Beautiful hotel with good service. Never felt crowded even though we stayed during high season. Private beach with comfy sunbeds. Rocky cliffs from where you can dive. Too bad they didn't built a wooden deck on the cliff. Didn't try the restaurant, besides the breakfast, since the prices was to high and there was handful of restaurants 5-30 min walk from the hotel. Syracuse and old city of Ortigia is just 10 min drive by car and offers plenty of good and cheap restaurants. Really recommend this place if you want to stay near Syracuse.

Amazing views, great food and the staff is amazingly kind and generous with their time. A very nice place to stay when in Sicily! Thank you for the great experience!

When we arrived we got a free upgrade, which was very nice. Besides the staff was really lovely and attentive. When we ordered something we liked, they remembered the next day. They are very competent and helpful in extraordinary situations (we had an accident).

Probably the best place to visit Ortigia and Siracusa. The rocky beach and the sunset terrace are amazing. The staff is great too.

Amazing location, easy access to very small but Sandy beach, lovely pool.. Excellent service.. About 25 min drive from Ortega. If we are back in Sicily we will certainly stay here again.

Beautiful beach. Great breakfast. Staff is amazing. A little gaudy with the interior decor, but the landscaping us an absolute 10!
