truly worth every penny.. this is the BEST bang for your buck in Ravello. The price point, the views, and the service is top notch. The free breakfast and then the wine tasting in the garden are tough to beat. A short walk to the town square and right near many of the beautiful gardens

To my surprise my second visit to this place was even better the first.
I had a splendid four days stay. The sun was hot but in the beautiful garden of this magic place I felt as if I was dreaming. Pietro, the bar man, offered us delicious refreshing Spritz called "Confalone Spritz". Then Ela and her emerald eyes at the reception was so nice and helpful to give us always information about our little excursions. The food was excellent. Franco Enza Eva and Antonella were absolutely perfect and professional. I suggest the eggplants and the desserts. Handmade cakes are unforgettable. During the breakfast they're served each morning. The view is incomparable.

Palazzo Confalone is an extremely beautiful Palazzo with excellent service all around, and is a fraction of the cost of some of the nearby Palazzos in Ravello. If you can live without a pool or shuttle service to the beach then Palazzo Confalone should be your first choice in Ravello for an unforgettable stay. The food is also excellent for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Franco was the primary waiter for every meal we ate there and he was a true professional in every way, he provided truly world class service! The reception staff took care of every need and were so professional and courteous, they made us feel truly welcome. The view from the restaurant cannot be beat on the Amalfi coast. Palazzo Confalone is truly a magical place in one of the most beautiful settings in the world.

Amazing hotel and dinner! I ate at the Belmond last night which was great, but the meal here was even better. Antonella and Barto took great care of us. Homemade Pasta, Veal and the dessert was 🤌🏼. We’ll be back!

Had dinner here and it was truly amazing. Some of the best food we’ve tried. The fresh bread was to die for, we are really happy to have tried it. The tuna salad was delicious, the gnocchi were so tasty but the linguine with wild clams were slightly over salted. The restaurant outside is so beautiful and the atmosphere with the view are breathtaking. A really cozy and quiet garden is what made this dinner so memorable.

My husband and I had dinner here one night during our stay in Ravello. What a treat!! The service was excellent, the views were unparalleled, and the chef-selected four course menu was exactly what we wanted. We both enjoyed some new dishes and left feeling full and incredibly grateful for a wonderful evening!

An absolutely fabulous boutique hotel overlooking the Amalfi Coast. The rooms are a delight, scrupulously clean and well appointed. We visited for 5 nights and loved our stay.

The staff is superb. Everyone with whom we had contact. The restaurant serves serious food in the evening and sitting on the terrace watching the Med is just wonderful.

We’d revisit in a heartbeat in a town that is a refuge from the madness that can be The Amalfi in peak season.

Mr. Sammarco brought my wife and I up from his winery to the restaurant for lunch. The lunch itself was incredible and some of the best food we had in Italy.

We arrived around 9:00 PM to Ravello. By the time we went out to find a place for dinner, everywhere was closed. A nice person at the front desk of a hotel made a call for us and told us that the Palazzo Confalone can accommodate us if we went there by 10:00 PM. It was the most memorable meal of our Italy trip! The food was fantastic, not over priced, and the staff was so nice and friendly. The Palazzo is gorgeous! In comparison, the other Michelin star restaurant in Ravello was too formal, pricey and the food was not as good. If you have an opportunity to visit and dine at Palazzo Confalone, you will be very glad that you did. Highly recommend!

This hotel is one of the oldest 5 star hotels in Ravello. It truly exceeded my family and I's expectations. We had phenomenal breakfasts with a beautiful view and an amazing diner here. We wish we could have spent longer at this hotel in Ravello. The staff was incredible and the location was to die for. We had two bed rooms that were very spacious and had a great view of the mountains. Cannot wait to return!! Thank you for the amazing staff!!

WOW! This is a must visit. We did not stay here but wish we did. We had the most amazing, accommodating dinner. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, share the history of the palace with us, and make sure we had the best time. The building is one of the most beautiful I have seen. It is full of lush plants and preserved so well. The view is one of the best on the Amalfi coast. The food was so amazing and affordable, even for three girls in their twenties. At the end of the evening we could see fireworks in the distance. We did not want to leave! Will recommend to everyone!

We had the most amazing experience staying here in Ravello. It was by far our favorite place to stay while in Italy. It was better than I could have imagined. The room was absolutely perfect with a beautiful balcony and view. All of the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had breakfast every morning at the restaurant and were treated like royalty by the staff. They go above and beyond to take care of their guests. The hotel has so much character and charm. We were truly sad to checkout. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you to the staff for helping make our stay perfect!

My fiancé and I have stayed at many wonderful 5-star properties all over the world but nothing compares to Palazzo Confalone. It is a magical place taking you back in time to the 11th century but with the added comforts of modern day. The pictures don't even begin to capture the beauty of this place. The restaurant and wine (especially the wine!) are superb!! The people who run the hotel take great pride in the integrity of the property. All in all we could not be more pleased with our stay and will absolutely return again!

After postponing twice our wedding, we did not want to wait a third year to get married. Hence, we decided to elope on the Amalfi coast. Our wedding planner suggested staying at Palazzo Confalone. This was one of the best suggestions! Indeed we stayed at La Torre Exclusive Room. The view was insanely amazing!!!!! The hotel organized our wedding dinner at the terrace of our room and it could not have been more perfect!!!! Dinner under the stars and with the view on the mountains and the sea... we were blessed ... the staff was amazing to us!!!! They served us like king and queen!!!! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, they knew us and delivered a tailored-made service! For instance, we did not need to say a word and they knew we did not drink alcohol... Their hospitality is just incredible! We can only recommend Palazzo Confalone not only for the amazing room and private terrace but also for an amazing staff always there for the guests. We cannot wait for next year to go back there to celebrate our first year anniversary :-)

This was one of the highlights of my first trip to Italy, I wish I had more time to stay longer in the area.

The room was immaculate, the bathtub was huge, the mini bar stocked, the bottle of wine was really good and not “hotel prices”. The room had a view over the mountain side there was spectacular. the lobby was 12 century and beautiful. I was in awe.

The staff were really friendly! I have had mixed reactions on this trip so far, not speaking a word of Italian but they made it easy and I felt really welcomed!!

I look forward to being in this part of Italy again and I will definitely look up Palazzo Confalone to stay at again.

Had an amazing dinner here with wonderful wine, excellent food and a spectacular view. The service was next level. A very special family evening. Will return next time we are in Ravello.

What a magical spot. We had a lovely terrace where we took our coffee and watched the water traffic, a Jacuzzi tub where we soaked away our aches from long walks, a very comfortable bed, and excellent brekkie every day. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. I've never been so sad to check out of any hotel. We will be back!

Went for dinner — extremely satisfying experience. The best words to describe would be tasteful and elegant.

Ambience was romantic and classy, set on an intimate balcony that is part of a classic 5-star hotel that appears steeped in history. Servers were polished yet not pretentious. Food was intentional and delicious, and sizing was not minuscule like other fine dining establishments. Light music in the background was calming.

Pleasant amuse bouche, and enjoyed the scorpion fish ragu, fish of the day, and chocolate mousse. All wonderfully plated, tasty, and creative, though not extraordinary on all three measures. In the case of dietary restrictions, substitutions were made thoughtfully and without fuss. The price for the evening felt very appropriate.

Also, the view was incredible, as one would hope for in Ravello.

Suggestions for the restaurant: 1) perhaps smaller/repositioned flowers to allow for a more unobstructed view; and 2) a Google Maps pin distinct for the restaurant, aside from the hotel pin.

We went to this hotel for dinner by chance. A lady in the lobby came out and escorted us to the restaurant upstairs. The quality for food as well as the service persons were perfect. Not to mention the excellent view we enjoyed while eating! We think for the value they offer, this restaurant is underpriced by at least 20%. If we visit Ravello sometime again, we will definitive come here again.

For the last four days/evenings we have been vacationing in Ravello and staying at Palazzo Confalone. This is a lovely boutique hotel housed in a restored and well-maintained palace overlooking the sea. The lovely antiques, frescoed ceilings and colonnades evoke one’s imagination of what life must have been like for the gentry who settled this beautiful mountainside hamlet many years past.

The hotel is a two minute walk to the duomo and town square. Staying at Palazzo Confalone was like visiting family. The staff attended to our every need, even accommodating our gluten intolerance with homemade gluten free croissants, breads, pasta and lovely dinners, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They recommended day excursions and helped us get a true sense of life on the Amalfi coast. While there are other larger “palazzos” in Ravello, they are pretentious and over double the price of Piazza Confalone. We could not rate this hotel and the warm and friendly staff who manage it any higher. We will certainly return one day with our grown children.
