Wonderful restaurant perched on the Ravello cliffs with panoramic sea views over the ocean.
Food was excellent - fresh seafood and pastas, cooked and presented beautifully with fancy little touches. Lovely wine selection and speedy service.
Highlights included the Cacio e Pepe pasta and the lovely fried bread with fish spread.

Great for a lunch or romantic dinner.

We came to Da Salavtore for my birthday dinner. Our hotel recommended it instead of one of the Michelin star restaurants. And it was a great choice. Maybe not as sophisticated as a M star but the food was very tasty, with local ingredients. And the price more than fair. I would come back.

Located conveniently at the top of a bus stop, Salvatore boasts great views and a great dinner. It’s hard to compete with the scenery but this delicious restaurant does a decent job. Make sure you say hello to the parrot !

Right at the bus stop, beautiful view and amazing food - food here is like art (painting in squid ink, lemon dessert is a must, many textures, mixed pasta with squid and potato also delicious and fun, beef tender and tasty)

Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised by Salvatore’s delicious food and beautiful presentation. Everything was fantastic, and the view just can’t be beat.

We lunched high in the hills of Ravello, at “Ristorante Salvatore” which had simply breathtaking views. Amazing. Really good.

I’m not sure who the people are that are saying the food at Da Salvatore is nothing out of the ordinary - maybe you’re ordering the wrong things… or have bad taste. Simply incredible. The perfect cap to our time in Ravello. I wish we would have stumbled in to Da Salvatore sooner, because we would have gone two nights in a row! First, they started us off with pumpkin gnocchi?!?! What! Insane! Rabbit doughnuts - fantastic. Fish - truly melt in your mouth. Slow cooked beef - amazing. LEMON DESSERT - a MUST. Also everyone was so kind and welcoming. You cannot go wrong.

The experience in this restaurant was wonderful. The food was delicious and the view is breathtaking. For the starter, grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and the lemon foam compensated it perfectly. The fish of the day and mix of fish were also really nice and left our bellies full and happy. There’s also a parrot that greets you “ciao!” If you play with it. Really beautiful restaurant!

I was expecting a normal restaurant, but it was more than perfect, the food is mind blowing.

We came to the restaurant knowing it has great review and views, and the food and view was superb!!

We had lunch after exploring ravello and i think the food can easily be michelin star. We had the best grilled octopus (starter) during our trip!

The service was relaxing and took their time to make food but not to an extent that is too long, cant complain about this with the view of maiori from up above. A special crispy bread + olive butter was served to while wait food (including a proper sour dough).

Beautiful Restaurant .. dinner and Service was outstanding ..saving the best to last .. the Views overlooking the harbour with a full moon was magical... Highly recommend Il Salvatore Restaurant .. !! to make it even more special we would go to the Piazza after dinner many cafe's and shops in Ravello ..... so beautiful and young boys 7 to 10 yrs old playing soccer in the square ...one of the little boys his name was Antonio .. came over to ask my grandson Owen to play and every night they would play to midnight or so ... this was very special for me and my grandson ...! Heartwarming experience .. !!!

Trust me, this place isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience that will etch itself into your soul. Wholeheartedly, I say, go and experience the magic of Salvatore Ravello. Your taste buds and your spirit will thank you.

Cannot beat the views and the fish fillet with lemon is one of the most memorable dishes I've had on this side of the Amalfi coast. Also got the giant potato gnocchi with shrimp - so delicious, don't miss this dish! Even their sauteed greens was delicious with garlic and olives. The food here does not hide behind any thick seasoning or sauces, and the quality of the ingredients is clear in the taste and preparation. Highly recommend if you're in Ravello.

We visited the restaurant, not the hotel of the same name. A table with one of the best views in the world. Excellent menu and wine selection, but the service was a little slow. Then there is that parrot... a noisy welcome, but be prepared to have a squawking backing vocal to your meal!

Came in on a glowing recommendation and will continue to pass it on. Great in all senses of experience and shouldn't be passed up for lunch or dinner.
The dishes were unique, the flavours harmonised nicely and service was quick.
The view is incredible and you have a nice breeze coming through the windows so no matter the heat outside, you'll feel comfortable.
Be sure to ask for specials of the day and any drinks that are not on the menu!

Fabulous meal! A highlight of our Italian dining experiences

A superb restaurant with an amazing view. Enjoyed lamb bites and a salad. The 1st presentation of the edible cracker set a high standard. Been there since 1958.

Excellent sophisticated food. The wind was outstanding as well. Unfortunately the weather was terrible, but I heard the view is normally breathtaking.
The waiters were not super friendly, but very professional.

It's very difficult not to find something to complain about. But here ladies and gentlemen it went exactly that way. We were a group of international friends who had spent a beautiful day on the amlaficoast and end up in the evening in Ravello. We did not book but even though the waiter said it was fully booked we were so lucky waited a little a bit and earned the most spectacular table of the restaurant.

The food is gourmet and I was positively shocked by the details of how well was presented the dish and how fresh and tasty was the food ( see pictures attached)

The location was absolutely immense, we felt very special that night and I will absolutely recommend this place in the future. Its definitely a full 5 stars 🤩

Its the views for me 😍😍😍. This place is worth the views on its own but the food was also delicious! We got served free glasses of Prosecco which was a lovely touch and then we got a tasty bread cracker before proceeding to the food. My pasta/potato dish with the seafood broth was def the best dish of the table.
