Butterfly Verona

The most amazing little gem ❤ we booked this for our wedding anniversary and it was such an incredible place! The owners are lovely, caring, thoughtful people, from making fresh biscuits to keeping the fridge stocked with fresh water and smoothies everyday. The rooms and reception areas are all beautiful, they smell divine as all areas have amazing diffusers. Laura happily books your dinner reservations, they had some great recommendations for eateries that we would have found ourselves. Book here, I promise you won’t be disappointed A**

Easily one of the best “hotels” I have ever stayed in. The passion from Gian Matteo about his property is hard to convey. Every detail has been thought of and he mentioned multiple times that his partner wanted to make sure every home creature comfort was taken care of. My wife could not believe she had a Dyson hair dryer in our room. Every other amenity was also amazing such as the air filter, shave kit, and free mini bar. Ariana, who is the Property Manager, was excellent and took great care of us. She even arranged transfers and printed out the train schedule for us. Verona was one of our favorite stops and the Butterfly exceeded every expectation. We will be back. Thank you Ariana, Gian Matteo, and Laura!

The best address to stay in Verona. Alex is doing an amazing job, he was always there with good recommendations and making sure everything was fine. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful decorated in Italian design. We will definitely come back.

I would like to keep this gem to myself, but Laura and Gian Matteo deserve to be known by the whole World.

My wife and I are used to staying at luxury hotels and guest houses all over the world. Despite our experience, the Butterfly awed us.

The whole experience was so wonderful that I had to pinch myself many times to believe that it was true. Laura and Gian Matteo are the best hosts ever, and every corner of the Butterfly shows how much thought they have put into creating a 5 stars luxury guest house that is, at the same time, classy, cozy, quiet, and convenient. All of that 5 minutes walk from the Arena and from a number of great restaurants.

You won't get a full English breakfast in the morning, a phone in the room, 24 hours room service or a doorman to open the door for you. But in exchange you will get a home away from home, where you can sleep on spacious, comfortable and exquisitely decorated rooms that are pieces of art, where your privacy is respected, where you will always feel welcome by this wonderful and sophisticated couple, and where Alessandro will always be there for you, a phone call away to help you with whatever you need.

My wife and I can't find enough words to express our satisfaction. We can't wait to come back and enjoy another relaxing experience at the Butterfly.

Fantastic find for a place to stay in when in Verona. Truly a boutique. Elana provided excellent service and you could see the pride they had in their accommodations. Location was fantastic for quick walks to shops and restaurants and of course the Arena di Verona. Highly recommended!!

Butterfly suite is a Gem. After making a mistake chosing a bad hotel we found Butterfly suites via google,the best hidden secret of all Verona!
Start with the owners GMatteo and Laura and collegue Alessandro,the 3 of them are of extreme kindness and passionate about their place and town.The building they chose is historical and really beautiful, starting with the old wood door and the majestic staircase(dont forget to look up and apreciate the chandeliers👌) Its not a hotel so dont expect breakfast( as a luxury accomodation the Italian law forbids them to offer breakfast) or room service, pass that you will be able to enjoy the many wonderful pastries and cafes Verona can offer as well as top notch restaurants all at walking distance. The aera is great because close enough to everythg but at the same time far from the full packed touristic aera, so u will manage sleeping windows open without hearing a sound👌.
The Suite was just fantastic, Laura puts her heart in chosing all furnitures and art pieces in each suite. You have everythg needed, nespresso vertuo coffee machine,kettle, free minibar, dyson hairdryer, dyson airpurifyer, irontable… Bed and pillows were comfy and perfect for a deep night sleep! Bathroom was big and with small details that make the difference, product for women to de-makeup,eye mask( much apreciated) the body products were very good. Shower strong and easy to use.
Housekeeping provided each morning and turn down at night, will bring you pillow spray and some of the best macarons I tried… as well as some cookies to enjoy with your morning coffee.
Alessandro gave us great recommandations for restaurants, he was also kind enough to organize a champagne bucket of ice being brought to our suite.
Going to Butterfly suite means means being pampered and well care of, we enjoyed every minute of our stay, thank you GMatteo, Laura and Alessandro for creating such a wonderful place, our new “home away from home in Verona” and for being such lovely persons.

Everything about our stay at the Butterfly Boutique Rooms was excellent. Central location was within walking distance of all the sights. The room surpassed our expectations, the mini bar was free, the complimentary bathroom product were of high calibre and the staff were extremely welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Can not recommend this enough. 5 stars all around!

My son and I had the absolute privilege of recently staying at Vernona's "Butterfly Boutique Rooms". This was a unique experience and a highlight visit during our three week stay in Italy. The rooms are perfection and styled in the most elegant and contemporary Italian design imaginable! Every detail for beauty and comfort has been considered.
The host, beautiful "Laura" is amazing. She made sure our stay was incredible and one we will always treasure. She went out of her way to help us locate tickets for a sold out event at the Arena, booked the perfect restaurant for us to celebrate in, let us know about the weather predictions during our stay and also recommended areas of Verona for us to explore. I had also lost a carry bag during my travels and she even offered to purchase new toiletries and make-up to help me out! What service and kindness is that!
The rooms at Butterfly Boutique are so luxuriously prepared. It seemed a shame to leave such beauty and comfort behind while we took advantage of all Verona had to offer! This is the most charming Italian city to explore.
You could not ask for more kind, caring and genuine hosts than Laura and Matteo. I only wish I had spent more time here and dream about a time when I can return.....

Butterfly Boutique Rooms is a gem. We found this place via Tablet and grateful that we did.

The hotel is in a historic building which keeps the charm of this old city, and provides for very high ceilings in all the rooms. The interior is chic and modern, with beautiful pieces of art. The location is near the Arena — a short walk to a lot of wonderful restaurants, but removed just enough to be in a quiet part of town when you need respite from all the hustle and bustle of tourists and locals.

We booked a junior suite and got upgraded to a standard suite. The two rooms and bathroom are very spacious and beautifully designed. The furniture and art pieces were carefully curated. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa, desk, and TV, with a large window that brings in natural light. The bathroom is also spacious with double sinks, good-sized mirrors, great lighting, and a very nice shower head. The water pressure in this place is strong so you can really enjoy a nice hot shower after a full day of sightseeing. The linens, towels, and bath products are high-quality. After a long day, you’ll want to pamper yourself with their products, put on the robe, get under the covers, sink into the supportive and comfortable bed, and relax into a deep sleep before going back out again! They also had Netflix on each of the TVs in our suite!

This place is very inviting. Everyday it felt like coming home to a really cozy and luxurious place. The beautiful wooden entrance door and the majestic spiral staircase with marble steps hold the memories of ancient times, which is juxtaposed by the fresh design of the interior that ushered the newness and modernity of Italian design.

The owners and the other staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and hospitable. The service is personalized and authentic. They genuinely care that we had a nice experience. We truly enjoyed our stay at this amazing place.

Georgous boutique hotel with 6 rooms in a quiet street only 5 walking minutes away from the arena. Rooms a beautifully and exclusively furnished in italian design. The owner couple is more than hospitable and makes your stay worth while! Definitely will come back when in Verona!
