La Pizza di Paolo&Rosetta

When you visit Verona, forget Romeo and Juliet. All you need is Paolo&Rosetta, the pizza is delicious and with a glass of wine not at all expensive. The piazza is tranquil and close to the superb S Zeno church. A great reason to explore this area of Verona!

Excellent pizza restaurant, many different varieties, pay by weight. Sicillian-type pizza with a thick airy base and crunchy crust. I suspect they use sour dough... Many unami flavours with anchovies, capers and olives. Nice ambiance on the quiet square (no cars), outside seating. Definitely one of the best pizza places in town.

Stumbled across this place walking into Verona for the first time and loved it. Nice pizza, very cheap and generous aperol spritz and a lovely atmosphere in the evening.

Excellent pizza and price and is accordingly busy . Ate here twice in a week , which says all you need to know really . Good staff and very clean washroom. Highly recommended

You can pick any pizza, any size you want. In the end, just pay for the weight. Friendly atmosphere and excellent service.

Very tasty pizza and super nice employees. The pizza service is kind of a self service. You go inside, select pieces you like and later pick them up after they are baked. I recommend paying this place a visit when being in Verona.

Never had pizza like this before. An interesting experience for us. We ordered 5 different variety and everything got weighed at the end. It’s about 15 euro per kg. My favourite ones were the ones recommended by the staff: the truffle mushroom one (very unique flavour. Very tasty. Not the typical salty meat type. Very impressed!), and the bacon with vinegar drizzle (doesn’t taste like the typical bacon. I suspect it’s a very think cut of pork belly. You can taste the pork fragrance, and not like the typical cured meat taste. A bit sweet. Again not the typical over salty taste) So glad I got to try this. Highly recommend!

Really perfect pizza. Although the shop is small and not fancy, the pizza is great. I definitely recommend it. Big variety and nice ingredients and combinations.

When you just need a snack and a drink, this place is perfect. Friendly staff, good drinks, excellent choice of pizza (sold by weight) fresh from the oven.
