I had the most amazing experience staying at The Blue House! Situated on the picturesque Gulf of Fondachello, this ancient fishing house is truly a gem. I was captivated by the history and charm that enveloped this place from the moment I arrived. Being part of a group of 5 houses that make up the residence of a Sicilian fishing family, The Blue House offers a unique and authentic stay.

The serene and familiar atmosphere of the property immediately put me at ease. The tranquility and proximity to the sea made it a dreamy retreat. The private terrace overlooking the sea was my favorite spot to enjoy the stunning views and the soothing sound of the waves. It was the perfect backdrop for relaxation and contemplation.

During the summer months, they've even opened a cocktail bar and restaurant on-site, adding an extra touch of luxury and convenience to the experience. This thoughtful addition elevated my stay to new heights, as I could unwind with a refreshing drink or indulge in delicious meals right at the property.

The house itself exudes a sense of history and nostalgia, having been built by the host's great-grandfather in 1912. It's evident that the owner's love for this place runs deep, and that love is shared with every guest who has the privilege to stay here. The cozy and comfortable atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the attention to detail in every corner added to the warmth of the space.

One of the highlights was the communal patio, where guests had the chance to connect over a glass of wine or a friendly chat. It fostered a sense of community among travelers, and I appreciated the opportunity to meet new people and share stories.

I also loved the convenient access to the beach, which was perfect for a leisurely stroll or a day of sunbathing.

I can't praise The Blue House enough for its idyllic location, welcoming ambiance, and the passion of its owners for preserving its unique heritage. Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or simply a slice of Sicilian life, The Blue House is the perfect choice. I'm grateful for the memories created during my stay and can't wait to return to this coastal haven. Grazie Maia, Giulio e Rossella per un' indimenticabile vacanza. State facendo tanto per il vostro paese, non solo dal punto di vista turistico ma anche ambientale dato la vostra accortezza nel ripulire la spiaggia di Santa Flavia e riportarla alla bellezza tanto meritata. It is absolutely stunning, beautiful house and beautiful surroundings, from the balcony you look over the sea and the owner Maia is fantastic, she is lovely!! we will be returning here for sure!!!!!!!!

A perfect place to relax and spend time in the sun

Una vista sulla spiaggia fantastica. Aspettate l'alba sul terrazzino, non ve ne pentirete. Ambiente confortevole e ricercato.
